Now truth be told, I was never high on My Brothaaaaa here, there have been occasions when he was good but still..

Anyways I'm not here to dis-CUSS him up but what his best theme music were.. And the choices are (Most of the stuff is a re-hashed version of one of these themes.. Still if I forget any then kindly do tell me)

Now I know the obvious answer here would be REAL AMERICAN, so i will go a bit astray and pick Voodoo Child.. Jimmy Hendrix rocked and the start is pure gold...

Again, If you like the series, Give me a HELL YEAH!!

Honestly, None of these are what I would pick. Its hands down

He didn't use it as they passed it up for Real American, but to me, this is his best theme. It was the theme for his cartoon.

would think this would be no contest.
A Real American was the majority of his career and the most recognizable theme in history to non wrestling fans i'd say.

I didn't like voodoo child. then again i don't think much of Jimmi Hendrix lol
Yes Booker i did just say that

However the lyrics do play into the character of Hulk Hogan
"Standing next to a mountain, and chop it down" aka Hogan vs Andre the defining moment of the late 80's.

and A Real American was initially created for the tag team "US Express" of Mike Rotundo (IRS) and Barry Windham but they only lasted 1 year b4 Windham left and Hogan picked up the theme in 1985

Real American by Derringer. Can't believe that was for Windham and Rotundo<-----The Wrestling Album. The most iconic wrestling theme of all time. Fringe wrestling fans from that era know that theme today that's why it's the best

American Made. Just the WCW version of real American. Voodoo Chile (Slight Return) just gets your blood pumping but nothing will beat Real American

It's simlpe the intro from Voodoo Child was the shit and the song is alright, but Real American Straight gives you the chills when it starts then gets the blood flowin at the same time. So for me it's Real American with Voodoo Child second, then Eye Of The Tiger, NWO theam, and then American Made.

Meh, for me its a 3-way tie between "Real American" "Vodoo Child" and "American Made".

Real American: Because it was his theme at the start of Wrestlemania.

Vodoo Child: Because it was his theme for his iconic heel turn as the leader of the Original NWO

American Made: Because it was his return Theme as a face.

I loved Voodoo child because I am such a fan of hendrix,

BUT for long lasting appeal...Real American,

How can I tell you that,I can't tell you the amount of times I've seen/heard that song used when some politician announces his/her candidacy for some big office,gubernatorial/senatorial/presidential...YOU NAME IT!!
THEY'VE USED IT

It has to be Real American. If you voted for anything else, it's probably because you were too young to remember the Real American days and watched Hogan in the NWO, or just became a fan in the late 90s.

There has never been a more iconic theme that fits a character (Undertaker included). Real American is Hulk Hogan, and Real American is wrestling. If you ask 99.9% of people to pick out Hulk Hogans theme music and played Real American and anything else, I guarantee they'll pick Real American each time.

If you're going to answer the question as literally as possible, then "Voodoo Child" is the only answer. It's one of the greatest songs performed by one of the most iconic musicians in history. It's popularity was already well established before pro wrestling and Hogan's use of it was fantastic. There's a reason so many people marked out for the nWo and both their Hendrix-inspired main theme and "Voodoo Child" were major factors.

"Real American" was great, but try and be very realistic about what kind of song it was. What if that had been Jim Duggan's theme? Would it still be considered one of the greatest themes ever, or would it just be remembered fondly as a really cool theme the way we thing of Mr. Perfect's, the Legion of Doom's, or others?

Hogan made "Real American" legendary.
"Voodoo Child" was legendary without Hogan.

It's the best song. No question about it.

ASSumptions make me chuckle.

I'm 29-years-old. I marked out for Hogan's entrances like every other kid. Doesn't mean I can't have common sense.

The best Hogan theme was Real American, and there is no contest. American Made was good, but paled in comparison. The nWo theme was good but I preferred his face characters' songs. Eye of the Tiger is more of a Rocky song than a Hogan song to me. It's better than Voodoo Child though. I absolutely HATED Voodoo Child. I don't hate the song itself. I hated when Hogan used it. There's a difference. It didn't fit well AT ALL. Real American was the best because it is the song that Hogan and an entire era of wrestling are associated with, plus it's so catchy and retro.

I'd have to say my top three are in this order:

Voodoo Child: The crowd went wild as soon as that brief silence and opening guitar riff went over the loud speakers, and Hogan came out playing guitar on the spray painted belt. Plus, it's just an awesome song, and fit well with the gimmick Hogan was using at the time.

Real American: The classic song from the 80s, when hulkamania was never bigger. One of the better themes from the 80s and early 90s, until some of the young turks started coming along.

American Made: Honestly, not much of a fan of this song. Sounds like montage music from the Karate Kid or something. The redeeming quality is that Hulk Hogan actually played bass with the wrestling boot band.
