Best King Of The Ring Winner?

And when I ask this, I mean who acted as the best King of WWE? Randy Savage? Harley Race? Owen Hart? Kurt Angle? Booker T? Sheamus? etc.

Jerry Lawler is not included in this BTW even though he never won a KOTR.

My pick goes with King Booker. He took it to a whole new level, it's practically a gimmick on it's own. You got Booker T and then you have King Booker, never I have seen this with another King. The gimmick & King Booker's catchphrase "KING BOOOOKKKAAAAHHHHHH" is still mentioned today. Hell some people even say King Booker is better than Booker T.

Quite easy pick: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin! The King of the Ring win by the Texas Rattlesnake gave birth to the greatest wrestling Superstar of the 1990s. "Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass!" Unscripted, but the birth of one of the best personas ever to step foot in the ring. The King of the Ring truly shot Austin to super stardom.

Stone Cold Steve Austin. His win coined the phrase "Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass". It made SCSA a superstar, something that Eric Bischoff said would never happen to a guy in black boots and black tights.

My pick is Stone Cold as his year as King kicked the greatest ass kicker of a year. And Jerry did become King Of The Ring by beating Bret for it at Summerslam 1993 for the Crown. Go back and watch. Anywho Stone Cold was the greatest one.

My personal favourite is Owen Hart. He worked to top his brother Bret and went on to call himself the King of Hearts (or the funny crowd signs, The Queen of Hearts). He went on to have a great fued that year with Bret and the British Bulldog.
No doubt Steve Austin's win was pretty great but he never called himself King afterwards. He blew it off like nothing. At least with Owen, he took the name and used it better than most.

My personal favorite king of the Ring winner has to be William Regal. It was very unexpecting. As a fan of Regal I cannot help but to love the fact that Regal won the king of the ring. As for the man who made the King of the Ring mean something, it had to have been Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin's "3:16" thing is one of those memorable moments in WWE history. Also, the king of the ring pushed Austin to greatness. King of the Ring really helped Booker T as well. Booker definitely used his king of the ring win to promote himself. He went by "King Booker" and dressed like royalty.

Owen Hart and Austin almost tie for this one. Obviously Austin's speech was iconic and was the birth of his famous persona, however Owen used both the title and the speech to put over something bigger - his feud with Bret and quest for super stardom. No one used the King of the Ring to their advantage like Owen did, Austin never referred to himself as King the way Owen became the King of Harts
