I love Jake Roberts. he is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. But he didn't get there with wrestling ability alone. He was a great promo cutter as well.

My favorite jake promo is the one from Tuesday in texas, where Jake talks about his snake biting macho man and hoe Elizabeth looked scared.

This is one of my favorite promos. The emotion, the lines, the attitude... it doesn't get much better.

Jake has to be in the top 3 promo men ever.

One of his famous promo's that i can't seem to find consists of him moving his mouth but no sound coming out. He does this for about 20 seconds during which time you probably have pressed the volume on your remote a couple of times.

Then out of the blue you hear him say something along the lines of " Did you check your TV? Did i make you think the TV was broken? I got right inside your head just like i am inside the head of (name opponent)."

worked really well and Jake worked the audience perfectly to get his point across.

Wrestlemania always comes to mind, just before he tok on Ted Dibiase. For my money it was the best match of the night: but my God, that promo was in a league of its own. I believe recently though he said he took a lot of it from a film, which kind of dampens it a bit though.

I've always thought this one was his best too. His eyes and eyebrows are so subtle, yet so meaningful. I've read in forums that people want to see Reigns do a 10 minute promo to prove himself. If he can take a minute and a half, like Jake did here, and tell his story, he won't need a long promo. Ambrose is already there
