Based on Backlash and a series of other evetns it seems apparent that Vinnie does not care for good ol J R. Therefore I have decided to make a thread dedicated to him... or at least his voice.

What is your favorite JR one liner? Off the top of my head ill give a few examples of my favs and why

"Good God almighty that car just ran over Austin" Survior Series 1999 Purely cos i was about 12 at the time and marked out massively when it happened. This was before I knew most things ahead of time and genuinely surprised me. I ve remembered that line ever since

"There's gonna be an explosion of epic proportions" - Build up to Triple H V Austin 3 stages of hell No Way Out 2001 Just completely summed up what was going to happen in this match, still one of my fav matches of all time.

"From daredevil to champion, from enigma to icon." Armageddon 2008 as soon as i heard HArdy had finally won the big one i youtubed that bad boy expectigna classic JR line andwas not dissappointed

So there's some of my favs what are yours?
 
On Chris Jericho's beard at one time JR said, "He looks like a damn billygoat!", it always makes me laugh. Funnier to watch the match in which it was said tho...

And when Lita screwed Kane over and sided with Edge, JR said "You'll pay for that one day!!!...damn harlot!!!" Another funny one imo.

And on Eric Bischoff, "And by the way folks, did I mention that Eric Bischoff is really a seedy, no good bastard?" hilarious.
 
"Can Kennedy go for a... two-peat here tonight?"

That was him at last year's Money in the Bank match. He was wondering aloud whether Kennedy could repeat his success, having won Money in the Bank the year before.

JR's become a truly mediocre commentator.
 
Or how about, "I-Quit, 2 words, 6 letters!" That was another good one. We all make mistakes, even good 'ol himself...
 
my favorites are from TLC matches when he says " it looks like a dam car wreck bodys everywhere broken and destryoed." another one is " looks like his body has been ejected from a moving vehicale" from The first ever tag ladder match with Hardys and Edge and christian
 
Wrestlemania 25 when Mysterio came out as the Joker "At least Mysterios carrer is alive and well." I almost pissed my pants laughing at that!
 
I always go back and forth with J.R. quotes with friends.

"Mah gawd! Mah gawd! They killed him! They killed him!"

(After Al Snow shot Bob Holly with a fire extinguisher)
"Well, that can't be healthy."

"I heard your favorite queen was RuPaul"

"How do you learn to fall from a 20 foot ladder??"

My favorite though is definitely:

"STONE CAWLD! STONE CAWLD! STUNNER! STUNNER!"
 
After the Flair/Foley I Quit match at SummerSlam 06: "I have driven past fatal care crashes that look better than what we have just witnessed tonight" - I always shout at my tv screen when I watch this on DVD asking JR how many fatal car crashes he's seen in his life... I get the drama and intensity in his voice, but JR does have some great bloopers that aren't that articulate or don't make sense or make sense in a different meaning such as the post above me.
 
At Mania 22 with Mickie vs. Trish: I don't believe it. The nutjob won the title. The way he's so calm and collected when he says it just cracked me up.
 
Among the best, simply for the lolz:

"Mysterio's career is alive and well" - Mania 25

As Mysterio comes out in Heath Ledger style Joker costume. Fantastic.
 
He doesn't do it so much any more (or maybe he does, I just don't watch Smackdown all that often) but, back in the WWF days, he'd start off talking about some sort of angle that was playing out on tv and then "on a night where (insert wrestler here) will defend the WWF title against (insert wrestler here)". Used to crack me up because it came out of nowhere, with no relation to what he was previously talking about.

He only did it once, but it was at No Mercy 2001, just before the Jericho/RVD match. Jericho had just had a backstage segment with Steph and Jericho wished Steph the "breast of luck". Hearing JR repeatedly say "breast of luck", while laughing, was hilarious.
 
When Vince was revealed as the higher power...
"AW, Son of a bitch."


When Triple H grabs the Sledgehammer...
"And now...the Game's got that damn Sledgehammer!"


When Ric Flair knee dropped the beer can...
"The Nature Boy...just dropped a knee on the beer can!"

And finally, when Patterson and Brisco were flexing...
"AW GAWD! Patterson's got SKIDMARKS! Good lord, and he's single, fellas."
 
By far the greatest Jr line is...
"HE'S BROKEN IN HALF, GOOD GAWD THAT BROKE HIM IN HALF."

First time I remember hearing him saying that was when Foley was thrown off the top of the cell. That line made that match. He might have said it when Shawn fell off but I don't remember, only line I remember from that was king saying, "incoming" lolz
 
there was this one confrontation between the rock and vince, hhh, shane and stephany where the rock says something about shane, trips and vince being slapped around by a walking two dollar **** and J.R. says "Two Dollars?!?!" here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3BgZMWSHgU

there was this other one which was a match between mysterio and i think it was JBL and whoever rey's opponent was, kicked rey off the ropes down to the floow and J.R. says "mysterio's balance went to hell!!"

those we're the two i can remember, more will definitely come

one that I remember fondly...it was a hardcore match which spilled backstange, mightve been Tommy Dreamer...anyway someone got hit with a plant or something and completely no selled. JR said: "well I don't know what that was, but I'm sure it hurt"

"This is a moment ladies & gentleman...feel it...look at it...experience it!

"The Rattlesnake is back! And he whipped that son of a bitch's ass!"
 
A funny line was at Backlash when Santina said she loved JR. Then Cole said something about BBQ sauce lover or something and then JR said...

Jr: Oh good, who fed you that line Cole?
