Best Feud In Past 4 Years

Simple. What do you think is the greatest feud over the last 4 years. You can judge this on the buildup, conclusion and the match in general. Mine was CM Punk vs John Cena back in 2011 MITB. I liked that because it showcased a fantastic match and the buildup was great from Punk's pipe bomb to the stipulation of Cena being fired. Also, the promo's were fantastic. Their was also a great part of real life because CM Punk's contract was about to end and the promo's were not scripted. Also, the fact that the match was in Punk's home town, perfect.:lmao:

The Rock vs. John Cena. People been wanting to see this fight for years. The build up for the first bout was perfect, from them not touching each other for a year, to the feud feeling so personal the lines were blurred from telling what's scripted and real.

Given I haven't watched for a while and only restarted in 2013 from SummerSlam, I'd go with the Wyatt family vs the S.H.I.E.L.D.

If there was any feud that the fans basically demanded from the WWE, it was the feud between two awesome 3-man stables...the mere fact that in their Major match at the Elimination Chamber PPV, the crowd was chanting "This is Awesome" in their pre-match staredown is proof enough as to how brilliant it was and could have been, had the WWE milked it some more, even until WrestleMania.

John Cena vs. CM Punk is the best feud of the past 4 years, nothing else stands a chance as far as total package one would expect from a story. It was based on real life events, it had great promos, great matches (in my estimation, two all time classics: MITB and couple of Raw's before Mania 29.) It made CM Punk look like a million bucks, it really created a whole new buzz for the WWE from that point forward and all the elements were necessary. That MITB Chicago crowd was just amazing. I'll never forget the fridge tweet with the title inside.

There are a lot of honorable mentions no doubt, from Orton/Christian, to Daniel Bryan/Authority or The Undertaker/HHH and even John Cena/The Rock, but it falls in comparison. I would give the notch to El Generico/Steen at ROH and Tanahashi/Okada at New Japan and that's it.

I don't know about best, there's a lot to choose from. But I do have a pick for most underrated, and that's Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger. I thought that was a great feud that produced some really good matches, including one of the main events at WrestleMania 29. It could have been an AMAZING match if they'd let it go ten more minutes.

I'd say Orton/Christian was the WORST feud of the past several years. To be a feud, there has to be some back and forth, but there wasn't. That feud with nothing but Randy Orton dominating and humiliating Christian, because Vince couldn't stand the fact that Christian was so much more over than Orton, so they turned Christian heel and jobbed him out completely. Never in the feud did they even allow Christian to look competent, instead he was booked to look completely inferior to Orton in every way. That feud destroyed Christian's career.

That feud had potential to be great, unfortunately SOMEONE decided that screw it all up by getting arrested with a DUI/marijuana possession. I like Swagger in the ring but never have I heard of someone literally smoke their big chance away like that. Real shame too since there was real potential there, especially with the likely chance of Swagger winning that match and Zeb managing a WHC. Too bad we'll never know. :disappointed:

More OT I'm tempted to go with Cena vs Punk too, but that felt like it had too many extra players. Vince, HHH, ADR, wasn't even all that long before Cena got past over for the HHH feud with Nash/Laurinaitis/Awesome Truth...god just writing it all made it seem like a total mess. In any case the part where Cena was directly involved in was awesome, especially that Chicago MITB match, but overall there wasn't enough of him and too much of unwelcome people. So I'm going to with DB vs Authority since it had a much more focused storyline despite extra players like Orton/Kane and a temporary break with the Wyatts since we did get to see a raise of a superstar in DB, we've never really lost focus of who DB was feuding with unlike the Punk/Cena one, and of course the great ending(or as close as these things get in the WWE, not counting retirement) at WM30.

I only started watching again in the run up to mania so haven't got a lot to choose from but post-mania I enjoyed Ambrose-Rollins, sadly that's about it. That's the only feud this past year that has felt personal and that I really, really wanted to see one guy beat the other. I am
Still kinda hoping they revisit it and have Ambrose finally beat Rollins at wrestlemania before Rollins cashes in later to win the belt. But In all probability that won't happen

Punk vs Cena, hands down. Felt real, Punk made it feel real. Great promos, maybe the best exchange in promos I've seen in a long time, it generated THAT promo, the matches were always amazing and they are/were the biggest stars of their eras.

Every match of their felt huge, remember the masterpiece they had on Raw, when there was seemingly no straight feud between them. They were made for each other.

Daniel Bryan Vs the Authority. The WWE needed a new top babyface; and Daniel Bryan was built properly this time. The story that spanned from Summerslam 2013 to WM30 really was how it should be done. The way HHH put DB over at the start of the show too... fantastic.

Honourable mention for Cena Vs Rock - some epic promos from both guys. But the in ring action let them down.
