For me personally it has to be Monsters Inc. I like a lot of the movies listed but I have always had a like for that movie, even now, a month ago I came home from a night out at around two in the morning, saw Monsters Inc. was on, and even though I was so tired that my eyes had gone red I still sat and watched it to the end.

Its a good childrens adventure, has a lot of childish yet still funny gags in it as well. Something about it has always made me happy. Asides from that, I do love The Lion King as well. Mostly, for the same reason we all do...

The Lion King.

An incredible movie. Extremely moving, with one of the greatest soundtracks ever, fantastic drawings and animations and a great storyline. I never tire of seeing it.

Just look at the memorable characters

Simba, Mufasa, Scar, Rafiki, Timon, Pumbaa plus others. What other animated film can give you that?

The Lion King is still a magical film, I love everything about this movie. It brings back memories of my childhood, and my girlfriend and I class it as "our film", which means alot to me. It just makes me feel happy, both the film itself and the music. There is no doubt in my mind that this should win.

The Lion King. Of all the animation classics from Disney, there is perhaps none that is more celebrated than this one. Its acclaim is understandable: this is quite simply a glorious work of art. The Lion King" gets off to a fantastic start. The film's opening number, "The Circle of Life," is outstanding. The song lasts for about four minutes, but from the first sound, the audience is floored. National Geographic couldn't capture something this beautiful and dramatic. It may possibly be the greatest moment in film animation.

The story that follows is almost as majestic, and told brilliantly. What seperates it from the other movies here is the epic story that contains more dramatic power than all the other Disney films combined. While there are definitely some light-hearted moments, there is no denying the dark drama that takes up the bulk of the story. Some of the sequences are very dark and violent, many bordering on frightening, which makes the movie all the more fascinating. And the voice actors are terrific, especially Jeremy Irons as Scar, and James Earl Jones as Mufasa.

Another big plus is the music. The soundtrack goes the whole scale. When all is well in Simbaa's life, there is hopeful music echoing of the jungle and the savannah. Then things get darker and the music gets deeper and more epic than anyone who's not heard it can imagine. "Be Prepared" is excellent and rightfully scary as the following scene testifies. The stampede score is one of the most ground-shaking pieces of music I have ever heard. When that all gets too much, there's "Hakuna Matata", the ultimate anthem for carefree living, to soothe the soul. Personally, I feel "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" is the strongest of the songs on the soundtrack, and its not even my genre of music "The Circle of Life" set the tone for how movies should start and not for no reason. The whole audio part of this movie is a complete bullseye.

Overral, The Lion King is the best of Disney's animated flicks, and also the best animated movies off all time. It has a wonderful plot that draws from classic inspirations and has some of the deepest and most motivated characters in the children/animted genre of all-time, and the voice-casting was absolutely perfect. A near flawless film that I think should be the run-away winner on this list.

I'm gonna say Toy Story only because the 3rd movie made me choke up and made me realize fully that my childhood is over. I loved Toy Story as a child, and yes I'm going to be biased.

I did love The Lion King too though......

If you want to talk about a work of art Finding Nemo is where you begin. Truly incredible artwork, fantastically imaginative in terms of design, characters and storyline and it's enjoyable for kids and adults. The best Pixar film, therefore the best animated film ever.

Well, I'll put this in categories as they're so many to choose from.

I'd say when it comes to comedy it has to be Finding Nemo. It was an excellent movie with fantastic humor that very few movies today even come close to duplicating. This put Pixar on the map along with The Incredibles.

The most tragic/dramatic story would be the Lion King (Toy Story 3) comes a close second though because quite frankly, its Hamlet done right. Disney's best work yet and it truly is a work of art. Its a shame Disney's a sell out producing utter shit atm but this one I give them credit for.

As far as Action/Adventure and mature I'd have to go with a series of Batman movies. DC makes kickass direct to dvd movies and rightfully so. The best one I've seen so far is Batman: Under the red hood and man is it fucking brilliant.

As far as the critics were concerned over here, 'Cars' is regarded as one of the weaker films in the Pixar cannon. I'm not sure of the critical response in the States though?

When my father passed away in 2009, I decided to fulfil a livelong dream and tour the States. For 8 weeks I toured up and down the eastern side of that great country taking in Michigan, Kentucky, Tennessee, Florida, Massachusetts and New York States.

I loved the premise of 'Cars', a guy who only truly becomes all he can be when he is forced to slow down, forget about career goals and mingle with genuine people (genuineness is, IMO, American's greatest characteristic and, somewhat ironically what many find irritating about them "They're so loud and opinionated!"). Resonance is a great reason and why I shall be voting for Lightning, Mator and the other residents of Radiator Springs.

For me I have to go with Monsters Inc.
All the movies on this list are exellent,it was very hard for me to pick one and I almost picked Cars but in the end I have to say Monsters Inc. I chose this because even though I didnt like it the first time I saw it, once it grew on me the message and the way it pulls you in and makes you care made me a huge fan.
Also i'd like to throw in that Brother Bear should have been on this list as it is kickass
