Ascension getting called up to main roster?

After holding the tag titles for over a year, the Ascension finally got defeated by Sin Cara and Kalisto. It got me thinking that the WWE finally sees T.A. as being ready for the main roster.

Will we see them soon, maybe within the next several weeks? I would think them losing is a sign that they are moving up.

Not necessarily. If anything Takeover proved Neville is the one ready to move up now...and that could literally happen any time now.

Ascension haven't really "done" much over the year other than steamroll, they kinda need to at least get some payback on the Lucha Dragons (hate that name) first or it's a bit flat them leaving. Likewise, Sin Cara and Kallisto are the ones more likely to be "hotshotted" to the main roster as they are needed more... I can see Ascension actually winning the belts back or Sin Cara and Kalisto being the ones to show up when Goldust and Stardust win the titles to challenge them.

Only way Ascension works is if they cost Usos the title... but then it's inherent that Usos have to lose two fueds in a row...

I don't know if it means that, but it sure as hell should. Konnor and Viktor have both been in the developmental system for a loooonnng time, gone through a bunch of gimmicks before finally landing on this one several years ago, and really refining it in to what it has become. There is nothing left for them to do in NXT, they are too dominate, and aren't getting any younger. Not to mention the tag ranks on the main roster are quite thin at the moment and could really benefit from their presence.

Currently the only "real" tag teams are the Usos, the Wyatts, Los Matidors, and the Rhodes brothers. There's the occasional throw-together team like Slater Gator, but with the teams that are there having basically exhausted most of the feuds and match combinations already these guys could be a huge boost to the division. Plus they are such are big power move guys (Konnor especially) they kind of remind me of the Road Warriors, could you image what a great feud The Ascension and Wyatts could be? I think they've already waited way too long to call them up.

If I'm booking: at Night of Champions, Usos retain the belts, and then Ascension comes out of nowhere and beats them senseless.

I'm with Charismatic Enigma on this one, from my understanding(I don't watch NXT) Ascension are heels correct? So the Rhodes Brothers are now heels, the opportunity would have been before this heel turn.

But a quick way to fix everything. Maybe Ascension interfere and the match ends in DQ so the Usos are still champs, either you can have the Rhodes Brothers break up(they seem pissy now so I could see it) or you have a 3 way tag feud going ;D maybe even throwing in Henry/Show too being as they're faces. Just so long as the titles don't go to Henry and Show I'm fine with this.

Also losing the belt doesn't really open you up to being called up, wasn't Paige NXT Divas champ when she got called up?

Currently they're heel, but the kind of heel that could easily be face by proxy if against another heel tag team. They're big and they beat up people, I can see them easily showing up at the end of the usos stargoldust match looking menacing, and star and goldust running away scared with their belts.

i definitely agree with the idea of having the ascension debut at night of champions.

usos would need to retain the titles and then the ascension comes out after for the beat down. this way the usos go into the feud after retaining and not being caused a DQ.

although the idea of the 3 way title picture with dust brothers involved sounds interesting id really like to see usos and ascension develop a long feud.
