General Manager of Ascension Rebecca Serra appears on the titantron, sitting at her desk inside her office. She is hands clasped together and stares directly towards the camera with a small smile.
Serra:добрый вечер. Tonight, we air this episode of Ascension in Moscow, Russia as our second stop on WZCW's huge 2015 World Tour. We would like to thank everyone who made this trip to Russia possible and everyone here in attendance - as well as those watching at home - for making WZCW a world-wide commodity. Otherwise, broadcasting live from Russia wouldn't have been possible and coming here truly gives it an... unscripted feel.
Rebecca straightens up in her chair.
Serra:Speaking of Unscripted, tonight we give the Russians fans a special treat by bringing forth the potential WZCW World Tag Team Championship match for Unscripted right here tonight on Ascension. The home-town countrymen of Victor Makarov & Oleg Rasputin will get their opportunity early and will face the champions known as Cerberus for the Tag Team titles in our main event!
She pauses for a moment.
Serra:Continuing with our trend of offering opportunities, we will also be giving TWO new stars their debut match and allowing a familiar face to return back on live WZCW Television. Should they impress like Noah Ryder did in the main event of Meltdown against the World Champion, they too will receive an opportunity to skyrocket their careers and take their first step towards the upper echelon of WZCW superstars.
Rebecca relaxes in her chair, leaning back.
Serra:So sit back and enjoy the show. I know I will!

Pyrotechnics go off on the stage before the camera pans around the arena, looking the crowd cheering loudly and raising their signs in the air. We pan across the entire arena before sitting down at the announcer's desk where an extra person is sat in-between the regular two.
Connor:Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Ascension and we are here live in Moscow, Russia. My name is Catherine Connor and not only am I joined by the eccentric Jack Cohen but we've also got a special guest commentator for the evening, Mikey Stormrage.
Stormrage:Thank you, Cat. It's great to be sitting here doing commentary with the two of you and thank you for having me.
Cohen:I didn't vote for this to happen, especially the part about you taking up my space next to CC!
Connor:I'm not complaining.
Stormrage:Don't worry, Jack. I've got plenty of experience as an announcer. I got some raving reviews for my performance at All-Stars this year.
Connor:On the subject of performances, can you give us an update on your recovery?
Stormrage:Well, not much to say other than it's going great and I'll definitely be back for the Definitive Super Hyper Mikey Stormrage 2015 Open Challenge at Unscripted and with all these new rookies and returning stars, it'll be interesting to see what I'm up against.
Connor:Excellent. Well, let's get the shown started with our first rook-

The crowd erupts in cheers and applause as Victor Makarov, Oleg Rasputin & Freddie Fortune walk out onto the stage and on the top of the ramp. The two competitors look out to the crowd as Freddie has a big smile on his face, letting out a confident laugh. All three walk down the ramp and get into the ring.
Connor:I've never heard anyone cheer for Victor or Oleg as loud as this, let alone an entire arena.
Cohen:These men hail from Russia, CC. What did you expect the crowd to do? Boo them?
Freddie Fortune grabs a microphone and stands in the middle with Oleg & Victor standing behind them.
The crowd cheers loudly at Freddie's greeting to the home crowd in Russian.
Cohen:When did everyone learn to speak Russian?
Stormrage:Google translate, comrade.
Freddie lifts up the microphone before continuing.
Fortune:Unfortunately, that's where my fluency in the Russian language ends.
The crowd lets out a boo. Freddie shrugs his shoulders.
Fortune:I know, I know but don't be disheartened Moscow because what will happen tonight in the main event will not require any word from any language. Tonight, here in the hometown of both Victor Makarov & Oleg Rasputin, they will defeat the WZCW World Tag Team champions and finally give Cerberus back every single beating they've inflicted onto others who dare challenge their reign. After tonight, Cerberus will be humbled and show their true colours of being the scared little dogs they've become.
The statement elicits a big cheer from the crowd, looking forward to see their home town representatives win the titles. Freddie goes to speak again but is interrupted by the Tag Team champions.

The crowd boos mercilessly towards the champions who walk out with the Tag Team Titles around their waists. They look out to the crowd, listening to the hate they have for the champions. Flex turns to Ramparte and says "tough crowd" before he picks up his microphone.
Flex:I can't argue with what you said about us beating people up. We cannot deny that however, coming out here and implying that you're the better team because you wish to stop those who ambush others kind of makes you a hypocrite, does it not? Just because you are pandering to the home crowd as the home-town heroes doesn't make Oleg & Victor any more innocent than us. They've taken out their fair share of people too, including us... but our match tonight isn't about morals or national pride; it's about these Tag Team championships.
Ramparte:And if you think for one second that being here in Moscow gives you an advantage then you mustn't have much intellect. Not to disrespect the crowd of Moscow but we are the Tag Team champions for reasons other than attacking people from behind and tonight, we will prove we are the superior team.
Freddie nods in the ring, taking in the words.
Fortune:Those are some strong words from a team who cannot face another team without beating them up first. So if it's all the same to you, why don't we get this little beat-down out of the way... right now.
The crowd roars in approval. Victor & Oleg look prepared as Flex & Ramparte discuss for a few seconds before turning to the ring, looking to head down the ramp.
Connor:Looks like we'll be getting our tag title match right now!
Cohen:More like a fight, CC.

The crowd boos as the General Manager of Ascension quickly runs out and gets in front of Cerberus, stopping them from walking down.
Serra:Stop! Stop right there! Listen here you three: I am the General Manager of this show and I make the rules around here. I've scheduled this match as our main event and it remain our main event. So guys, get to the back and let this show continue.
Becky orders Cerberus to the back who put their hands up, agreeing to the terms. The crowd boos as Serra tells the three in the ring to get back.
Stormrage:Buzzkill Becky. I was ready to see the match.
Connor:She is the GM, Mikey... well, as originally planned, our first match tonight will feature a new WZCW star making his debut in singles action against a man who recently made his debut here as well, Prince... and I hear he is very passionate about books. Stay tuned!
Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, from Los Angeles, California, Prince!!
We see Prince sitting on a corner waiting for his opponent.
Connor: Prince hasn't exactly been successful. But tonight he faces the debuting Cassanova. Maybe he can turn the corner at the expense of the rookie.
Cohen: He can start turning the corner once he gets rid of that ugly thing on his head.

Anderson: And his opponent, from the Forgotten Libraby, he is Cassanova!
The lights go out as a scarecrow is standing on a singular light. It also goes out and when they come back on, Cassanova is seen crawling down the aisle.
Stormrage:Aren't all libraries forgotten at this point?
Cohen: Shush, Mikey. This man is clearly an intellectual mind. Let him show his craft.
Connor:He's crawling. What librarian does that?
Prince gets up and meets his foe in the center of the ring. Both men show they're set. And referee Elizabeth Prince rings the bell.
*Ding Ding Ding*
Prince quickly goes for a punch, but Cassanova trips him up with a Drop Toe Hold. He flips onto Prince's back and runs for the ropes as Prince gets up. Cassanova comes off the ropes with a Springboard Moonsault that knocks Prince back down. He mounts Prince and beats on his with a flurry of punches. But Prince manages to shove him off and get back up. However, Cassanova then hits a Reverse Back Kick and follows with an Asai DDT.
Connor: Wow. What an athletic move. Very impressive. And how fierce is this kid.
Cohen: That's what you learn in a library, Cat.
Connor:Right.
Cassanova pulls Prince to the corner and goes up the ropes. He measures Prince and leaps. Coming down with the incredible and impressive 630 Splash. He doesn't go for the cover though. He instead goes for Prince's legs and hooks the Locked In The Book. The Sharpshooter variation quickly gets the tap out from Prince.
Anderson: Here is your winner, Cassanova!!
Elizabeth Prince raises the winners hand. Cassanova heads up the ropes to celebrate his win as Prince rolls out of the ring.
Connor:Well that was quick.
Stormrage:I guess there must be How To Win Wrestling Matches For Dummies books in the library.
Cohen:Does that look like a dummy, Mikey? That is a future star.
Stormrage:I'll give you that. He was impressive. Lets hope he can keep it up.

We cut to a backdrop backstage and see Leon Kensworth standing in front of it with WZCW Elite X Champion, elegANT.
Leon:Ladies and gentlemen, I am joined at his time by WZCW Elite X Champion, elegANT. Last week we learned that Bruce Irwin will be one of three opponents you will face at Unscripted for your Elite X Title. In your opinion, who should fill those two remaining spots?
elegANT:Well, Leon. There is a lot of great talent in WZ-
elegANT stops as Leon looks intimidated by something behind elegANT. The camera zooms out and reveals that it is Ty Burna.
Ty:You pathetic fool. How is it that the Elite X Title has alluded my grasps for so long, yet it drapes itself over the shoulder of a weak being such as yourself. You need not worry who is worthy to fill the remaining spots at Unscripted, because tonight I will decimate you and squash you like the bug you are.
elegANT:I am very much aware of your prestige, Ty. However, not only will your prediction of our match tonight be wrong, but I think you have bigger things to worry about than the Elite X Title.
elegANT nods behind Ty as he senses something and turns around. A figure in the shadows down the hallway vanishes as soon as the camera turns to see it. Ty snarls as he storms off in that direction.
elegANT and Leon look at each other and then down the hallway as the camera fades out.

We cut to an area backstage to see Theron Daggershield chatting it up with some backstage workers.
Chris:THERON! THERON!
Theron looks down the hallway to see Chris running at him with a cardboard box in his hands. He finally reaches Theron.
Theron:Yes, Clovis?
Chris:You know how we were talking after our match on Meltdown about what our stipulations could be for Unscripted?
Theron:Uh, yeah?
Chris:Well, I pulled some strings. An overnight order of one thousand plus custom dice.
Theron cocks an eyebrow as he looks into the box. He reaches in and pulls out one of them. He reads one of the sides.
Theron:Hotdog Eating Contest?
Chris:THAT'S RIGHT! They are possible match types for us at Unscripted! I've already got it worked out. Next round we are going to pick random dice and roll for the three stipulations for our match. Then, the fans will vote which one they want to see.
Theron:I mean, that actually sounds fun, but Hotdog Eating Contest?
Chris:Don't worry. I have other great ones like a Tuxedo Match, Loser Goes Bald, and Australian Midget Oil Match.
Theron:Australian Midget What?!
Chris:Don't worry, this is going to be fun!
Chris runs down the hallway, laughing maniacally.
Theron:Clovis? CLOVIS? WAIT!
Theron runs after Clovis, I mean Chris. The scene fades out.
Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, introducing to you, Maebashi City, weighing 220 pounds, S-S-Super B-B-Boss N-N-Nova!
Lazers everywhere, smoke fills the arena as Super Boss Nova emerges from behind the curtain. He looks around at the crowd, adjusts his sunglasses, and smirks as he strides to the ring like he was born to.
Connor:This is a great opportunity for the new boy to WZCW! A big ask for his first match but this is where the big boys play after all. Time to put up or shut up!
He points to fans and smile at them. He puts his sunglasses on a fan's baby before climbs the steps. He spins into the center of the ring, points both hands to the sky and opens them wide as gold pyro falls into the ring from the ceiling.
Question crawls out of the entryway. He looks out to the audience, as rose petals fall from the ceiling. Question may take some time to roll at them… Looking at his opponent, with a sensual gaze. He crawls into the ring under the bottom rope, keeping his eyes firmly locked on his opponent.
Anderson: New Orleans, Louisiana, weighing 195 pounds, The Eternal Question!
Cohen:What an intriguing match we have here. I don't know who to back here.
Connor:Question has to be the favourite here but you can never bet against a rookie. A rookie has the advantage of being an unknown quantity.
Stormrage:After a hot start, Question has cooled off a bit, so this is anyone's match.
Both men start the match slowly, circling the ring as the opening match of the night gets underway. With both men keen to impress everyone so short into their WZCW career, both men look very determined to do so. It is the Eternal Question who starts the match out as the aggressor though, driving a knee into the gut of the opponent as Nova looks to tie up. Question follows this up with a roundhouse kick to the back of the head as the debutante hits the canvas for the first time in his very young WZCW career. But it is not for long as he immediately springs back up and looks to get the momentum back in his favour. Question is in no mood to allow himself to be bested so quickly and follows up with a European uppercut that staggers Nova backwards. Looking to put Nova in his place early, Question hits him with a running splash that takes Nova back to the canvas. Question looks to end this match very early and goes for the early pin. The referee is in position but can only manage a 1 count before Nova breaks the fall.
Connor: A frenetic pace to this match to start the match in this, the first match of Ascension. And so far, The Eternal Question has been very impressive.
Cohen:Indeed he has been, Cat. People learn fast how competitive this business can be. And right now, Nova is being taught a lesson in how WZCW works.
Stormrage:All this speed makes me think of Sonic. Do you guys ever just ignore the match and game on your phones?
Question grabs the hair of his opponent and pulls him to his feet rather unceremoniously. As he pulls his opponent to his feet, Nova finally gets himself into the match by landing a few punches to the gut. The crowd begin to rally behind the young man as his fighting spirit begins to shine through. Still bent over double as Question grabs his head, Nova sweeps the leg of his opponent and rolls into a pinfall. But the referee doesn't even get a 1 count as Question breaks free of the hold and starts to get back to his feet. Question is the first to get back to his feet but misses with his attempt at a clothesline on his opponent, Nova ducking under his flailing arm. As Question turns back around, Nova nails him with a dropkick that sends him sprawling across the ring. Getting back to his feet almost immediately, Nova follows up with a running spinning heel kick that, once again, floors his opponent. Getting back to his feet one final time, Nova gets a round of applause from the Russian fans who have taken to him almost immediately. Nova paces into the corner of the ring as Question struggles to keep up the pace of the match. Clapping his hands above his head, the fans start to get behind the upstart as he looks to put this match away. It looks as though he is looking to hit the groggy Steiner Screwdriver with the MAXIMUM ULTRA SUPREME! He grabs Question and tries to position him correctly but Question manages to drop over the shoulder of his opponent and nails him with a bulldog that levels this match once again.
Cohen: Ha! Just when the rookie thinks he's got the better of Question, he gets taught another lesson. He should know by now that this is the best company in the world of professional wrestling
Stormrage:Impressive bulldog there, I may have to take that move for my own arsenal.
Connor:He might have found himself on the wrong end of certain attacks but Super Boss Nova has been a willing participant in this match. And more so, he has shown everyone, already, that he has what it takes to be successful here. He's got the right heart!
Both men get back to their feet without much fuss but it is Question who manages to fire away first, catching Nova with a beautiful facebuster. The crowd boo relentlessly as Nova lies motionless on his back. Question foregoes the pinfall this time, choosing instead to move into position before dropping a leg onto the neck of his opponent. This time, Question does choose to go for the pin, managing to pick up a close 2 count before Nova manages to roll out of the hold. Question gets back to his feet, He waits for his opponent, knowing that now is the time to put the match away before it gets away from him. Question knows that Nova has proved to be a thorn in his side for the entirety of the match and he also knows how much of a dangerous position that can prove to be. But all of that looks as though it is going to be a thing of the past as the masked Question looks to line up the CARNAL VITALITY! Question waits patiently for Nova to get back to his feet, it looks as though this match might not last very long at all... Finally, Nova staggers to his vertical base, hobbling towards Question unknowingly. Question goers for the finish but his leg is caught out of nowhere! Nova not only catches the leg but catches Question by utter surprise, rolling him into the small package pin! The referee looks for the pin. 1... 2...
Connor:This could be it!
Cohen:Oh my!
Stormrage:It's over!
Kick out with absolutely no time to spare! Unbelievable stuff! Both men get back to their feet after a few seconds, the shock of the preceding events still plastered onto his features. Question goes for a big boot but Nova ducks under the leg, running off of the ropes and then jumping around the back of his opponent! He's looking for CHILL OUT, GUY! Question fights against it with everything he has; knowing that should he be caught with this move the match could be over! Question fights against it before landing a few elbows to the head of Nova. Nova has no choice but to finally break the hold as Question is given a short reprieve. Question looks t5o battle back into the match but Nova is one step ahead of him. Without even a seconds notice, Nova has recovered and has Question in position. There is no escape this time... MAXIMUM ULTRA SUPREME! Nova covers him... 1... 2... 3!
Anderson: Here is your winner... Super Boss Nova!!
Cohen:Impressive!
Connor: A great opening match on Ascension this week, Nova showing us why he has finally found himself in the big leagues. Question didn't really know what to do with the unknown quantity of Super Boss Nova. Very impressive as Jack has already pointed out.
Stormrage:What a solid victory after a fine performance. I'll be scouting both these guys extra hard as both look like willing competitors.

We are backstage in the locker room where Flex Mussel & Ramparte have kitted up for their match later tonight and are doing some last minute stretches when WZCW Hall of Famer Everest walks into the room.
Flex:Everest, how are you holding up?
Everest:I've taken a lot of beatings in my career. I'll be fine. Look, I came by just to say not to be too cocky when facing the Russians tonight. I know confidence has never been a factor nor has a booing crowd ever discouraged you but they're here on home turf. They're going to do what it takes to become champions so a little bit of veteran advice; don't antagonise them any further.
Ramparte:We appreciate the concern but a couple of guys who are considered a team based only on their nationality and size doesn't scare us.
Everest doesn't look amused.
Everest:Just wrestle the damn match like professionals. No need to make another team your enemy, especially not those two big brutes whom posses the ability to manhandle all three of us just like they did in Cuba without breaking a sweat. Just go out there and wrestle the match.
Everest leaves, leaving Flex & Ramparte looking at each other.
Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Garth walks down to the ring purposefully, carrying a bottle of water and the crowd cheering him on. On the way down to the ring he looks into the camera and says "I can't believe we're in Russia." On the way down to the ring, he takes the new WZCW World Tour shirt and gives it to a fan in the audience. When he gets to the ring, he slowly climbs in, acknowledges the crowd, has a drink of the water before tossing the bottle out of the ring.
Anderson: Introducing first, from the Last Chance Saloon, weighing 15 stone... Garth Black!
Connor:Garth made his WZCW return in Cuba and come out with a win against Prince.
Stormrage:Sounds like Black is starting his career revival like we're starting our World Tour!
Cohen:Like a Cuban?
Stormrage:No, with the first step on a long journey... little racist, don't ya think Jack?

Scumm walks out on stage very slowly, looking out to the crowd, before heading to the ring at (again) a slow pace. The fans boo him but Scumm gives them all the finger and spits on the floor at ringside, eliciting more boos for Scumm.
Anderson: And his opponent, from London, England, weighing 223 pounds... "The Sadistic" Johnny Scumm!
Connor:If you told me Garth Black was going to have a match against Johnny Scumm in 2015, I'd tell you that you're crazy.
Cohen:It's a weird feeling but just like Black, WZCW has opened its doors to Scumm for another chance at achieving success.
Stormrage:Man, you're being awfully racist tonight, Jack.
Cohen:I was saying their names!
Stormrage:I know... but seriously, they should not book Black against Scumm in the states. Could you imagine the uproar?
Scumm enters the ring and referee Katie Shepard tells checks on both competitors. They both say they're ready and she signals for the bell.
* DING DING DING *
Scumm puts his hands up looking to fight whilst Black tries to go for the grapple. They take a couple of seconds to figure each other out before Scumm steps in for a punch, allowing Black to go behind Scumm and wrap his arms around his stomach. Black lifts up Scumm and slams him front first before quickly switching to a headlock, keeping Scumm down momentarily. Scumm manages to get to his feet but as soon as he does, Black switches to a side headlock and delivers a judo throw, keeping the side headlock in place. Referee Shepard asks Scumm if he gives up but he refuses. Scumm slowly gets to his feet but again, Black adjusts and delivers a Russian legsweep. He covers...
... 1
... kick-out by Scumm.
Stormrage:If we're in Russia, is it just called a legsweep?
Black is up first and gets himself in position, looking for a German suplex. He tries to lift but Scumm senses the danger, delivering a couple of elbow shots to the face of Black who lets go. Scumm turns around and clocks Black in the face with a punch, knocking him silly. Scumm follows up with a picture perfect dropkick, hitting him in the same spot as his punch. Scumm takes a moment to recover as Black seems to be a little out of it. Referee Shepard checks on him.
Cohen:Now that's what I call a right hand.
Connor:Pretty nasty shot.
Referee Shepard confirms he is okay to continue as Scumm gets to his feet. He turns to Black who is using the corner to get to his feet. Scumm charges at him, hitting a turnbuckle splash in the corner. Black stumbles out the corner as Scumm runs the ropes, hitting a big running shoulder tackle on Black with his head bouncing off the canvas. Scumm covers...
... 1
... kick-out by Black.
Black holds his head but Scumm keeps up the offense, mounting Black and delivering a few punches to the head. Black manages to push Scumm away to create some separation and tries getting up. Scumm comes back for more but Black pushes him again, harder this time. Scumm stumbles back into the ropes, allowing him to hit a big pendulum clothesline, knocking down Black. Scumm gets up to his feet, waits for Black to sit up and delivers a boot to the face before making a cover...
... 1
... 2
... kick-out.
Scumm quickly locks in a sleeper hold on the ground, looking to wear out Black with the submission. Referee Shepard is in position, asking if Black wants to submit.
Connor:Scumm has been relentlessly assaulting the head of Black.
Stormrage:If he's not careful, Black could suffer a concussion.
Cohen:All the more reason to submit now and fight another day.
The crowd rallies behind Black, looking to give him the adrenaline rush needed to get to his feet. Slowly, Black gets to a vertical base and delivers a couple of elbows to the stomach of Scumm, forcing him to let go of the submission. Scumm looks for a strike but Black ducks, hitting him with an enzuigiri. Scumm stumbles back into the corner, allowing Black to hit a flying body splash in the corner. He runs back and delivers another one. He goes for a third but plays to the crowd, getting them amped up for the "Getting on the Wagon" big splash... however, he takes a bit too long, allowing Scumm to catch a flying Garth in mid-air, hitting an Alabama slam on Black, smacking his head against the ground.
Stormrage:Ouch.
Scumm shakes his head and calls for the end of the match, as Black tries getting to his feet. Scumm picks him up and hits the Face Smasher on Black, knocking him to the canvas in a heap. He covers...
... 1
... 2
... 3!
Referee Shepard calls for the bell and ends the match.
Anderson: Here is your winner... Johnny Scumm!
Johnny Scumm gets to his feet and referee Shepard raises his hand in victory. The crowd boos at the result as Shepard goes to check on Black who is clutching his head.
Connor:And just like Garth Black, Johnny Scumm returns with a victory.
Stormrage:Whatever Scumm did in his long absence away from WZCW has brought a more darker side to him. He just didn't let up on Black's head.
Cohen:He saw Black sustain an injury and he took advantage. It's how you win matches, Mikey. You should take notes.
Stormrage:Again, ouch.
Connor:However you call it, Scumm kicks off his career revival with a win.
Black rolls out to the ring being checked by Katie Shepard as Scumm remains in the ring, soaking in the moment.

We go backstage as Leon Kensworth is standing by with Oleg and Victor, and their manager, Mr. Fortune.
Kensworth:Gentlemen, you stand here tonight with an opportunity to bring home tag team gold in front of your home country. There must be butterflies.
Oleg begins to step forward to speak, only for Fortune to take the mic.
Fortune:My boys are always ready. They could be fighting in Russia, China, Australia, Niger, South Africa, Mexico, it doesn't matter. I'm here to tell you tonight that these two Russian beasts are going to finally end the reign of Cerberus and bring home gold to this great country.
Oleg:Tonight we crush the butterflies and the filthy dogs Cerberus. умереть грязные собаки. для матери России!
Victor nods his silent approval as the camera cuts away.
We go to a camera inside the office of general manager Becky Serra. She is standing by with Johnny Scumm, Cassanova, and Super Boss Nova, all in various states of dress. She has them each gather around her desk.
Serra:Congratulations to all of you on your victories tonight. You will be pleased to know that I have taken a special interest in your performances, and there may, and I stress may, be Elite X title opportunities in your futures. Congratulation again on...
Becky is interrupted by someone barging into the room. It is James Howard, who appears upset.
Howard:This is nothing short of a travesty! I've been in this company over three years, given my blood, sweat, and tears. Suffered a bloody broken neck, and you want to pass me over for some rookies and a has been. Who did you sleep with to get this job?
Scumm gets in the face of Howard.
Howard:Sorry, I didn't mean to call you a has been. I meant to call you a never was!
Scumm shoves Howard, who responds with a stiff right hand that puts Scumm down. Boss Nova and Cassanova, do their best to subdue Howard.
Serra:Enough! Next week, those of you who won your match will square off for a shot at one of the spots in the ELite X title match at Unscripted. As for you, James, I have other plans for you. Now get the hell out of my office!

Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

Introducing first, weighing 240 pounds, Ty Burna!
The house lights dim, save a single spotlight that shines on the entrance ramp. Out walks Ty into the spotlight, his eyes glowing a devilish red. The crowd boos heavily as he stares down to the ring as the spotlight moves violently around the arena to the music. Ty slides into the ring, and slowly crawls on his stomach to the center where the lights go completely out. As the song hits it's peak, fire erupts from the four corner posts and Ty stands, intensity etched on his face as he stares forward, a look of madness in his eyes. As the fire comes down the arena is engulfed in an intense blue light, leaving Ty in nothing but a silhouette.
Stormrage:Say what you will about Ty Burna, but he remains one of the best in this business.
Cohen:Isn't he also the reason you are on the injured list?
Stormrage:Up yours Jack.

And his opponent, from the lap of luxury, weighing 179 pounds, he is the current WZCW Elite X Champion, the gentlemanly insect and friend to all, elegANT!
elegANT comes out from behind the curtain, waving at the crowd in his backstage attire, his title belt across his shoulder. As he comes down the ramp, he shakes every single persons hand, and does the same for everyone around the ring including all the WZCW ringside people (including commentators). Once he has finished shaking everyones hand, he climbs into the ring, shakes the referee and ring announcers hands, and waves to the crowd on all four turnbuckles before handing his top hat, sport coat, and cane to a ringside attendant.
Connor:The current Elite X Champion, coming off an impressive victory over The Eternal Question in his last outing will look to pick up a big victory over Ty Burna tonight.
Stormrage:He could use that momentum headed into Unscripted as he currently only know one of his three opponents.
Cohen:I hope Ty squashes this pest.
Referee Keith Morse checks both men for foreign objects, and stops to shake the hand of elegANT before he calls for the bell.
*DING! DING! DING!*
The two men slowly circle and try to feel each other out. Ty throws a couple of feeler jabs, but none connect. He tries a mighty hook, but elegANT ducks and rolls through with a pin...
.
.
One!
.
.
Two!
.
.
And a very surprised Ty Burna just gets manages to kick out before the count of three.
Stormrage:Damn, almost had him. I was going to use the break to grab some nachos.
The two men are both on their feet, and Ty is the aggressor, throwing some shots to the midsection that back elegANT into the corner. Once there Ty unleashes a headbutt to the champ before he Irish whips him across the ring. The champ crashes into the turnbuckle and before he can catch his breath, Ty connects with a running high knee. He throws elegANT out of the corner to the mat and climbs to the middle rope. He connects with another knee, this time to the midsection, and rolls away. The crowd boos as Ty calls for Desecration Annihilation so early into the match. The masked champion gets to his feet and walks into a kick to the midsection, but he fights the hold, not allowing Ty to lift him. Instead Ty clubs him across the back with a forearm, then a second, then a third, before he lifts him and drops him into a powerbomb backbreaker. Lateral press as elegANT's shoulder's are down...
.
.
One!
.
.
Two!
.
.
elegANT kicks out at two. Undeterred, Ty locks in a chinlock and puts some pressure on.
Connor:How exactly does the chinlock cause harm to an opponent, Mikey?
Stormrage:It is the placement of Ty's forearm on the chin, and his placement of his hip bone in elegANT's back that puts the pressure on. It looks simple, but it can wear you down in a hurry.
elegANT tries to fight to his feet, so Ty switches to a modified headlock, trying to keep his weight on the smaller man. The crowd begins to rally behind the champ.
ANT! ANT! ANT! ANT!
The masked man claps along, as he finds the energy to get to his feet. He begins to throw elbows to the midsection of Ty, eventually forcing him to break the hold. He follows up with a dropkick, but Ty is on his feet immediately. A second dropkick puts him back down, but again he is right back. Finally a third dropkick puts him down long enough for elegANT to take a moment to catch his breath.
Cohen:Come on Ty, get your head in the game.
elegANT lifts Ty to his feet and connects with a couple of sharp chops across the chest, before he Irish whips him into the ropes. Off the rebound elegANT leapfrogs. He turns around looking to hit something, but Ty ducks. Off the third rebound Ty connects with a vicious clothesline that causes elegANT to flip through the air. Ty takes a few steps back and connects with a running knee drop to the head. He looks like he wants to go for a pin, but instead he begins to pull at the mask of elegANT. The ref steps in and begins his five count, with Ty relenting at the count of four. He stomps away at the head of elegANT, before he decides he is done toying with him. He calls for the end, and locks in Beneath Dead Horizons, his deadly variant on a scorpion cross lock.
Connor:This looks painful, elegANT has to tap soon or risk serious injury.
Stormrage:I've been in this and it doesn't feel good.
Cohen:Its all ov....wait a minute, who is that masked man at ringside?
From out of nowhere a masked man appears at ringside, and it catches Ty's attention. He releases the hold and walks over to the man. As he leans over the ropes the lights in the arena go out and as soon as they come back on the man is gone. Ty looks both confused and angry, just as elegANT sneaks up from behind and rolls Ty up with a schoolboy...

Anderson: Here is your winner, the WZCW Elite X Champion, elegANT!
Connor:That looked like the same masked man that Ty dealt with last week.
elegANT quickly exits the ring and gathers his personal items and retreats as Ty begins to slam his fists into the mat.
Cohen:Ty is irate as this masked man again interferes in his personal affairs.
Ty exits the ring and rips the hood off the announce table and throws it at a ringside attendant.
Stormrage:Don't worry Cat, get behind me, I'll keep him away from you m'lady.
Ty picks up a cameraman and throws him into the ringside barrier. He then punches a ringside attendant who tries to stop him. Ty continues to beat on the defenseless man until eventually the ringside area is flooded with referees and agents who pull Ty off and escort him to the back.

We see Team Russia and Cerberus walking down separate hallways in dual vertical panel shots. Team Russia is accompanied by Mr. Fortune, while Cerberus is absent of Eve Taylor. Flex and Ramparte both have their tag titles strapped around their waists. Team Russia walk confidently, yet quietly. Flex rotates his neck to get the kinks out while Ramparte stretches out his arms.
Connor:When we return, we see the hometown favorites, Team Russia, against the most the dominant team in WZCW since Saboteur and Saxton!
Stormrage:I think you mean Strikeforce!
Cohen:The WZCW Tag Team Titles are on the line in our main event of the night. I can't wait to see what this crowd is going to do!
Connor:Don't go away. The match is coming up next!
Anderson: The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall and it is for the WZCW World Tag Team Championships!

The crowd cheers loudly for their "home town heroes" as Victor & Oleg walk out onto the stage, closely followed by Freddie Fortune. The two big Russian men stand proud as their national anthem plays, putting hand over heart before walking down the ring with a purpose.
Anderson: Introducing first, the challengers, from Moscow, Russia, at a combined weight of 618 pounds... Victor Makarov & Oleg Rasputin!
Stormrage:These two look intense. I wouldn't want to be Cerberus right about now.
Cohen:This will be their first opportunity at the Tag Team titles and it's in their home turf. If you were anything but focused, you've already lost. I don't think Victor & Oleg want to disappoint their fans or their country.
Connor:We haven't seen much from Oleg or Victor here in WZCW but Makarov is a former Elite X champion and these two are very imposing figures so a victory here tonight isn't unthinkable.
Oleg & Victor enter the ring, placing hand over heart once more and wait for the rest of the anthem to play out. Freddie exits to the outside, standing by at ringside.

The crowd boos loudly as Flex Mussel & Ramparte walk out on the stage, staring directly at the Russians in the ring. Both man put hand over heart and yell "Hail Cerberus" before walking down the ramp, holding their championships high in the air.
Anderson: And their opponents, protecting the gates of the Underworld, at a combined weight of 410 pounds, they are the WZCW World Tag Team champions... Flex Mussel & Ramparte; Cerberus!
Connor:This will be Cerberus' first title defense that doesn't involve Hard Metal Penetration and outside of the beating they took from Oleg & Victory, they haven't had any interaction with these two.
Stormrage:Luckily for them, they're used to the crowd hating them so having a biased crowd for the Russians won't be too much of a difference.
Cohen:Not sure if Cerberus cares. All they care about is their tag team titles staying around their waist. They should take Everest's advice from earlier and get this done properly.
Connor:If they're capable of playing nice.
Referee Keith Morse tells Victor & Oleg to back-off and allow some space for Cerberus to enter the ring. They hesitate, standing their ground for a few more seconds before allowing the champs to enter. Flex enters the ring whilst Ramparte remains on the apron, talking strategy as they hand over the belts to the referee.
Oleg looks to start things off for his team as Keith Morse hands off the belts to a ringside attendant before signalling for the bell.
* DING DING DING *
Flex stretches out his muscles and approaches Oleg who stands in the middle of the ring with his hands up, keeping on his toes. Flex shows off his muscles and tells Oleg he's not stronger than him, going for the collar-elbow tie-up. Oleg & Flex push back and forth in a stalemate until Oleg takes a step back, shoving Flex to the canvas. Oleg rushes Flex looking for some grounded offense but Flex scurries towards the ropes, causing referee Morse to get involved. The crowd boos as Oleg is restrained and forced back but he lets out a small smirk. Freddie on the outside trash-talks to Flex as Flex looks to get to his feet, feeling as if he under-estimated Oleg. He takes a running start, locking up with Oleg once more and gets almost successful pushing Oleg to the corner but Oleg again, pushes Flex down to the canvas in one fell swoop. Oleg tries following up again but Flex manages to get to the apron and referee Morse is forced to step in again. Flex is shocked as Oleg is forced back, cracking a small smirk.
Connor:For a man who prides himself on his muscles and strength, Flex is getting overpowered by Oleg.
Stormrage:I know Cerberus are obsessed with their appearance but how can Flex honestly be surprised? Oleg's a big Russian bear and he's not the cuddly kind.
Flex gets to his feet as Ramparte gives him words of encouragement. Flex tries sweeping the leg of Oleg but he catches Flex's arm, trapping it between his arm and body. Flex goes for a punch but Oleg grabs his other arm, trapping both arms of Flex. Oleg proceeds to deliver headbutt after headbutt on Flex, making him groggy enough to push him back without being able to retaliate. Oleg steps back and hits a savate kick on Flex, knocking him down towards his partners corner. Ramparte looks down at Flex before setting his gaze on Oleg who beckons him into the ring. Ramparte answers the call and tags himself in.
Cohen:Oleg just outmatched Flex in his best ability and threw him to Ramparte is if to say "your turn." Now that's a statement.
Ramparte enters the ring and keeps himself nimble as Oleg stands in the middle, holding his ground. Oleg looks to close in on Ramparte but as he goes to strike, Ramparte evades the shot and gets in a low kick on Oleg. It only angers Oleg who corners Ramparte much more quickly, grabbing him as Ramparte tries to escape. He throws him in the corner and delivers multiple strikes to the mid-section, chest and head of Ramparte until referee Morse pulls him out of the corner. Oleg argues with the referee for a moment before going after Ramparte who manages a European uppercut, stunning Oleg for a second. Oleg charges at Ramparte who evades, causing Oleg to crash into the corner. Ramparte delivers a flurry of wild haymakers before switching to European uppercuts. Referee Morse admonishes him but Ramparte ignores the referee, continuing his uppercuts before using a corner foot choke as the crowd boos. Morse counts to 4 before Ramparte lets go and moves out of the corner. Ramparte goes over to a recover Flex and tags him in.
Flex & Ramparte shove Oleg in their corner and deliver a series of kicks until the referee gets to a 4 count. Ramparte gets back on the apron and tags himself in, continuing the series of kicks. They discuss quickly and whip Oleg across the ring. Ramparte goes for a flapjack as Flex gets in position. Makarov blind tags himself in as Oleg counters, kicking Ramparte in the face. Makarov enters the ring and delivers a double running shoulder block on both men, to cheers from the audience. Flex rolls out of the ring as Makarov covers Ramparte...
... 1
... kick-out by Ramparte.
Makarov gets up a delivers a series of unrelenting stomps to Ramparte, each one more damaging than the last. Makarov eventually stops and stands tall, eliciting a big cheer from the fans.
Connor:Cerberus just cannot get out of the gates. When they get one man down, the other enters the ring and clears house. It's going to be difficult for them to muster some offense without resorting to double teams.
Cohen:Too bad it isn't Tornado Tag rules.
Stormrage:Then they'd overwhelmed by two Russians.
Makarov finishes up the combination with a running leg drop and goes for the cover...
... 1
... 2 and a kick-out.
Flex looks to go to the corner for refuge as Makarov takes a couple of seconds to get to his feet slowly as Freddie shouts advice at him. Flex gets to his feet and becomes sandwiched by Makarov delivering a running body splash. Flex stumbles out the corner and Makarov picks him up for a Military Press, dropping Flex on the top rope. Flex bounces off clutching his throat as Makarav goes for the pin...
... 1
... 2
... kick-out by Flex.
Makarov grabs the body of Flex, dragging him to his corner. Makarov tags in Oleg and gets on the apron, giving Flex to Oleg who picks him up with a big bearhug. Oleg squeezes Flex as best as he can who yells out in pain. Referee Morse asks Flex if he wants to quit.
Cohen:Smart strategy by Rasputin. Victor drops Flex on his throat and saw he had trouble breathing so he uses a bearhug to make it even harder for Flex.
Stormrage:Just watching Flex scream in pain makes my injuries hurt a little more than usual.
Ramparte tries clapping for Flex, attempting to get him an adrenaline rush but the crowd drowns out the clapping with boos. Flex, using all he has left, delivers a couple of bell claps to the Oleg, forcing him to break the hold. Flex drops to the ground and looks for a tag, gasping for air. Oleg takes a second to recover before grabbing Flex by the legs, setting him up for the wheelbarrow. Oleg looks at Ramparte and says "I'm not done" and lifts Flex into the air, delivering a wheelbarrow suplex. Oleg goes over to Flex and covers, looking at Ramparte...
... 1
... 2
... kick-out.
Ramparte looks concerned for his partner but stays on the apron, yelling words of encouragement. Oleg tags in Makarov and throws Flex at him, allowing Makarov to hit a scoop slam. Makarov follows up with a big headbutt and covers as Oleg gets on the apron...
... 1
... 2
... Ramparte breaks up the count.
Makarov gets up, looking angrily at Ramparte who gets back to the apron, imploring Flex to make a tag.
Connor:I don't think Ramparte wants to anger Makarov. Who knows what these two could do if they're angry?
Cohen:For Cerberus' sakes, I don't want to think about it.
Makarov picks up the body of Flex and throws him hard into the turnbuckles. He goes up to the second turnbuckle and forms his first, reigning shot after shot down on Flex as the crowd begins chanting on... however, Ramparte comes close to Makarov on the apron, distracting him. Makarov turns his attention to Ramparte for a second, allowing Flex to use all the strength he has left to lift Makarov for one single Mussel Bomb, planting Makarov into the canvas. The crowd boos heavily as Ramparte calls for Flex to make the tag.
Connor:An impressive feat of strength from Flex.
Stormrage:And the crowd didn't like it one bit.
Connor:One last effort from Flex to create some separation to make a tag.
Flex crawls and drags himself over to his corner as Makarov shakes off the cobwebs, easily giving a tag to Oleg. He steps in the ring and looks to charge Flex but he gets the tag. Ramparte uses the distraction to springboard up, hitting a leg lariat on Oleg to knock him down. Oleg recovers & Ramparte runs the ropes and hits a running calf kick, knocking Oleg down again. Ramparte hits a dropkick on Makarov, causing him to fall off the apron. The crowd boos loudly as Ramparte dodges out of the way of a charging Oleg, causing him to hit the turnbuckles. Ramparte quickly hits a springboard stunner, knocking Oleg groggy. Quickly, Ramparte kicks Oleg in the stomach and sets up for the Denouement.
Connor:Ramparte is going to try and end it right here!
As Ramparte grabs the arms of Oleg, Makarov slides into the ring and hits a twisting clothesline on Ramparte, knocking him down to the canvas.
Cohen:Maybe not...
Oleg takes a moment to recover as Makarov delivers a series of stomps onto Ramparte. Makarov looks enraged and doesn't seem to stop, picking up Ramparte. Makarov traps Ramparte's arms and delivers headbutt after headbutt, not looking to stop. Referee Morse tries to pull Makarov off Ramparte but it doesn't work, continuing the headbutts.
Stormrage:The ref's got to get control of this match.
All of a sudden, Flex slides into the ring with a chair and smacks Makarov across the back in plain sight of the referee who has no choice but to call for the bell. The crowd boos heavily as Makarov lets go of Ramparte.
Anderson: Here are your winners by disqualification... Oleg Rasputin & Victor Makarov. However, still your WZCW World Tag Team Champions, Cerberus!
Connor:Mussel just cost the Russians the titles!
Makarov turns around, looking extremely pissed as he sees Flex with a chair. Flex stands stunned for a second as he goes for another swing but Makarov punches the chair out of his hand. Oleg comes out of nowhere and delivers a big boot, knocking Flex down. Oleg & Makarov look at each other and nod, grabbing Flex and picking him up, shoving him in the corner. The two begin delivering various strikes to Flex, beating him down. Ramparte gets up and jumps on the back of Makarov, trying to stop the beat-down but Makarov forces him back, LAYING RAMPARTE OUT WITH MOTHER RUSSIA! Ramparte drops to the canvas almost knocked out cold.
Flex tries fighting back in the corner but Oleg delivers a nasty headbutt, making Flex groggy in the corner. He grabs Flex and throws him across with a Sambo suplex. Makarov mounts Ramparte and delivers punch after punch as Oleg goes after Flex, picking him up for another Sambo suplex. Makarov stands up and stomps a mudhole on Ramparte as Oleg waits for Flex to get to his feet, hitting the Russian Hammer, knocking Flex the ground.
Connor:I know they cost Oleg & Victor the titles but the match is over, enough with the violence!
Cohen:They're looking to make an example out of Cerberus and show them what happens when they try to take the easy way out.
Stormrage:Like Freddie Fortune said, they're going to beat Cerberus up and leaving them laid out in the middle of the ring.
Makarov grabs the leg of Flex and puts in an ankle lock, wrenching at the leg of Flex who screams out in pain. Oleg goes over to Ramparte and locks in the Red Scare, pulling the arm of Ramparte. The two Russians keep their submissions locked on despite the multitude of referees who swarm the ring to stop them. Freddie Fortune enters the ring laughing, applauding the attack and yelling at the referee's that they cannot do anything to stop them.
Cohen:Someone needs to stop this. Mikey?
Stormrage:I'm not cleared to get back in the ring, especially against these two angry monsters. If I was here last night to stop Dorian from attacking Matt, it would be a different story but this isn't my battle and last time I checked, Cerberus didn't take too kindly to me.
Connor:With all their beat-downs they've inflicted on others over the past year, nobody is going to stick their necks out to save Cerberus. The only person willing to aid Flex & Ramparte has already left to catch her flight to India.
Makarov and Rasputin continue to keep a hold of their submissions, making Flex & Ramparte suffer. Freddie laughs at the sight as both members of Cerberus pass out from the pain. Freddie calls off the two Russians and they stop, getting to their feet as the referee's finally have a chance to check up on the Tag Team champions. Freddie lifts up the arms of Victor & Oleg who get a cheer from certain sections of the crowd but most are in shock after the disturbing beatdown they witnessed. Freddie motions for them to exit the ring and leave the champs in the ring.
Cohen:Victor & Oleg had every right to be angry for winning the match but not winning the belts. However, as far as I can tell, Flex was trying to save his partner from a brutal beating and his only choice was to use a steel chair. Flex wanted to fight another day but the Russians had other options.
Connor:I'm all for comeuppance but that was a little far. Thank God Freddie decided to stop them before they permanently injured Flex & Ramparte.
Stormrage:And this won't be the end. Oleg & Victor just beat the Tag Team champs. They'll get another shot at the championships and they'll be angrier than they were before heading into this match. It's a very scary thought.
Connor:And on that note, this is all the time we have for Ascension. Thank you for tuning in and goodnight...
Everest gets into the ring, alongside of officials and referees, checking up on Cerberus. The last shot is of Freddie lifting up Oleg's & Victor's arms once more, celebrating their performance.
