Connor: Ascension is on the rise in Minneapolis, Minnesota, it's the only place to be right now as we continue on the path to Kingdom Come! Cat Connors with Jack Cohen here and if Meltdown is anything to go by, Ascension will surely only top it!

Cohen: Feeling overly confident about tonight are you CC? I mean the only reason why both shows are great is because of the continuous element that is myself! But anyway, inform the fans what we have tonight, you're good at doing what you're told!

Connor: Well we have three league matches to go through, two Mayhem matches...

Cohen: And a partridge in a pear tree?

Connor: Even better than that! Carmen Bratchny vs. Frankie Smith as well as an exclusive interview with Everest in addition to seeing the champion in action, only on Ascension!

Cohen: Christmas has come early, for I'm like Santa with all my treats and you CC are my ho ho ho!

Connor: Enough please Jack! Please get the first match underway before his ego makes his head explode...
 
Anderson: The following contest is a League Two Pointer Match, scheduled for one fall!

The bass of 'When I'm Ere' can be heard throughout the arena as Scott Hammond appears from behind the curtain. He stands at the top of the rampway for a moment and gives out a disapproving stare to the crowd. He quickly raises his right hand in the air before he slowly heads down to the ring, keeping his eyes fixated on it.

Anderson: Introducing first, from London, England, weighing in at 275 pounds, he is The English Engima, Scott Hammond!

Connor: From one rWo member to another, Scott Hammond has the chance to overcome the defeat to Big Dave by beating his tag partner, Ace David in what will be a vital two pointer for both men!

Cohen: Indeed, with the injustice of Ace having a point taken off of him due to the Titus attack situation, he needs the two points to put him near where he should rightfully be! As does Hammond!

Connor: Trying not to step on anyone’s toes there Jack?

Cohen: In comparison to playing favourites with your eye candy?

The boos get heavier as the usual rWo reception goes, but despite this, a grinning Ace David comes out grinning through the curtain. He gets on his knees halfway down the ramp and holds his arms out horizontal looking up with his eyes closed. After a few moments he gets on his feet and nods at Hammond who stands waiting in the ring and slides in, taunting him and the crowd.

Anderson: His opponent, representing the rWo, from Brisbane, Australia, weighing in at 231 pounds, Ace David!

Connor: Ace better have his best cards ready up his sleeves given how easily Titus and Trevor Steel beat him in recent times.

Cohen: Why do you persist on picking out the weaknesses of the best guys around? I mean seriously, can’t you complement the best and criticise the worst?

Hammond wants to attack Ace immediately, but the ref tells him to hold off as Ace continues posing to the crowd. Hammond shoves the ref aside and is met with an enziguri from Ace as the bell signals to get underway, Ace goes for the quick cover 1….2.. power out by Hammond. Ace gets Hammond up and has his Irish Whip reversed by the big man but Ace responds with a spinning back fist. He jumps up and hits a leg drop and goes for another quick pin attempt, 1…..2….kickout.

Hammond gets back up to his feet as Ace runs at the ropes but is caught by Hammond in a T-Bone hold and throws him over his head, landing on his back first which Ace looks surprised with. Hammond grabs Ace by the hair and looks at the crowd before he shouts “rWo my ass!” and holds Ace up in a military press above his head, keeping the Random Phantom up high for a few moments before slamming back onto the mat. Hammond gives Ace a stomp, followed by a second and a third before he makes Ace vertical again. He drags him to the corner and slams his head on the turnbuckle pad and continuously slams his head on the pad before the ref tries to make him stop, to which Hammond does and starts intimidating the ref, allowing Ace to have some time to recover.

Cohen: No, no Scott! Remember last week?!

Connor: Rookie mistake by the Englishman!

Hammond turns back to Ace who kicks him in the abs, followed by a second kick. He then grabs Hammond by the head and taunts out for a bulldog, he leaps forward but Hammond shoves him out of the grip and Ace lands on his backside. Ace slowly gets up as Hammond waits behind him and locks in a Full Nelson hold, he lifts Ace up in the air and slams him back down, cover by Hammond 1…..2…. kickout by Ace. Hammond looks a bit annoyed that Ace doesn’t stay down, he gets him up again and Irish Whips him and catches him in a tinta****l move but Ace is quick to slide out of the hold and hit a lariat on the return.

Ace uses the moment to run at the ropes and go for the Live Large but Hammond gets his knees up and Ace feels the pain from it. Hammond is up first and holds Ace tight by the hair, signalling for the end, he gets Ace up on his shoulders and looks for the London’s Calling but Ace hits him on the head a few times and jumps off of Hammond’s shoulders, he turns and Ace runs at him with a spear which connects, cover by Ace 1…..2..kickout.

Connor: Ace is throwing everything he has at Hammond!

Cohen: But Hammond is as tough to beat! Doesn’t Dave give him sparring sessions?

Ace uses the moment to go to the turnbuckle and climb up but Hammond is quick to his feet and shoves Ace to crotch him on the turnbuckle top. Hammond climbs up to join him and starts hitting some rights and looks behind him before locking his arms around Ace. He tries to throw him over, but Ace has his leg caught on the rope, Hammond tries to move it but Ace hits a right, and another, and another before shoving Hammond off the ropes, but he lands on his feet. Hammond runs at Ace but he gets his foot up in the air which hits Hammond in the face and he falls straight to the mat. Ace then steadies himself on top of the ropes and goes for the Rock Out, making full impact on Hammond. He goes for the cover 1…..2…..3.

Anderson: Here is your winner, Ace David!

Connor: Well Ace has overcome the setback and has got himself up and running in the league, no doubt Karnage and the other participants would have watched this match very closely!

Cohen: But you have to credit my boy Scott Hammond, he rightfully deserves to win this match as much as Ace, but even my favourites have to eliminate each other out!

Ace achingly raises his arm in the air as he rolls out of the ring and slowly heads up the ramp before he is met by Big Dave who applauds him at the top of the ramp and gives him a brotherly handshake and raises his arm high. Scott Hammond watches on, looking smudge and disappointed with what’s just happened.

Connor: Scott Hammond came close again, but can he bounce back knowing he’s lost to the former tag champions in search of the EurAsian Title shot?

Cohen: Maybe, but it’s now time to shift focus on the Elite X League now, EurAsian matches are mine and Seabass’ business, not yours!

Connor: But no doubt, the rWo is victorious again this week. The number they did on Titus certain boosted morale!

Cohen: Now CC! If you were rightly watching me on Meltdown, Ricky proved, much like Ace and Dave said, they did not do anything to Titus

Connor: Then who did the attacks?

Cohen: Erm, I don’t know, Trevor Steel? He destroys sets, why not people as well?

Connor: Anyway, as my colleague rightly said, we still have the remaining Elite X League matches tonight as well as two mayhem matches! One for the Mayhem Title, the other as a special service for WZCW fans with Christmas drawing near!

Cohen: That’s right Cat! Titus will take on my boy Mr. Baller and will be defeated while Everest will take on a newcomer here tonight. All exciting times ahead of the World Heavyweight Championship where Everest will retain the title! But for now, you’ll have to make do with Titus against Mr. Baller, it’s on Ascension and it’s next!
 
We fly high by Jim Jones hits the PA system as the crowd errupts in boos.

Anderson: Making his way to the ring, from Miami Florida at a weight of 220lbs...Mr Baller


Baller walks down the ramp and taunts the fans in his usual fashion. He gets in the ring and grabs a microphone.

Mr Baller: Yo dawgs, there's something I have to say and it's pretty important and I just need to get it off my chest.

The crowd begin to boo Baller rather loudly.


Mr Baller:
And you guys should shut up too. Last week I was this close to winning the Mayhem title, and today I took a challenge to take on the number one contender to the WZCW World title. I Mr Baller will beat Titus today and there is nothing you guys can do about it.

The crowd boo even louder.


Mr Baller:
Seriously, just look at his ugly face there is nothing he can do to stop me beat him tonight, I will take his scrawny body and....


Connor: Thank you Titus for shutting him up


Cohen: That man has no respect!

Anderson: And his opponent, representing Keystone City, Kansas. He is the WZCW number one contender....Titus!

The crowd pops huge at this as Titus comes out with his usual hi fives to the crowd. He then rolls under the ropes as Baller runs over and begins to stomp on Titus. Titus manages to roll out of the ring as Baller climbs out after him. Titus grabs Baller and throws him straight back in the ring, Titus gets in as the bell goes and the match is under way. Titus grabs Baller, irish whip straight into the turnbuckle. Baller bounces back, roll up by Titus. 1...2...Baller kicks out.

Connor: Very close for Titus there, almost a very quick match!


Cohen: You can't understimate Baller, he's from the hood innit!

Baller rolls out under the ring again as he goes under the ring. The crowd begin to cheer as they know this is weapons time. Baller pulls out a trash can which has in it a kendo stick, a stop sign and for some reason a basketball. Baller throws the trash can in the ring as he goes under it for some more weapons. Titus is stood in the ring as he begins to bounce the basketball, the crowd think this is hilarious.

Baller comes out with a steel chair and finially gets in the ring. Titus goes to Baller and goes for a spinning heel kick, Baller manages to duck this and manages to smack Titus with the steel chair. Titus is a bit dazed by this stumbling around, Baller hits him for the second time. Titus crashes to the mat...pin cover by Baller...1....2....kick out by Titus

Connor: Almost a huge upset there!


Cohen: That referee is the slowest counter ever. That was clearly a three there!

Baller picks up the kendo stick and waits for Titus to stand up. Baller swipes for Titus' legs but Titus jumps over it, he then swings for Titus' head but he ducks it. BAller is looking frustrated as Titus grabs the kendo stick from Baller and cmacks him straight in the mid section. Baller is bent over above the steel chair as Titus gives the tit drop on Baller. His face smacks off the chair but instead of going for the cover Titus goes for the ankle lock. Baller taps as the referee calls the bell.

Anderson: The winner of this match as a result of submission...Titus!

Connor: Did we expect any other result there?


Cohen: Yes Baller was robbed fair and square there! Any ways apparently Johnny Klamor has caught up with the world champion Everest backstage.

Klamor: Thanks Jack, we're backstage with the World Champion Everest. Everest, we just saw Titus pick up an impressive win over Mr Baller there. What are your thoughts on this match?

Everest looks directly at Klamor with a very serious look on him

Everest: Titus is a joke, he seemed more focus on playing basketball than striking his opponent down

Klamor: So you think you will come out on top at Kingdom Come as World Champion?

Everest: I don't think so, I know so! I will beat Titus and will prove that no one can stop me. I will leave Kingdom Come as world champion

Voice off camera: HAHA pull the other one!

The camera spins round to show Corey Payne

Corey Payne: You may beat Titus at Kingdom Come, but after that match I am coming down and taking my King for a Day match and I will be the world champion!

Just then Matt Royale appears

Matt Royale: No way, that's mine and after I win the Mayhem title tonight I will be the first guy in WZCW to hold two belts at once!

Everest: Listen twerps, neither of you will beat me. Do you get it? I will leave world champion because I am that good!

Everest walks off leaving Klamor stuck with a bickering Matt Royale and Corey Payne.
 
“Five Finger Death Punch” by Meet The Monster blasts throughout the arena as Trevor Steel and his son Damien make their way down the ramp. The son and father duo headbang with each other down the ramp to the music and slap 5’s with the crowd as they make their decent down to the ring. They get into the ring and pose to the crowd.

Anderson: Ladies and Gentlemen this is a Elite X Qualifying match scheduled for one fall. In the ring, From Philadelphia P.A, weighing in at 270 pounds, accompanied to the ring by his son Damien, Trevor Steel!

Zander makes his discent down the ring in full Santa outfit and sack full of presents. He throws a couple of gifts out to the crowd and shouts “Ho Ho Ho” as he walks down to the ring.

Anderson: And his opponent, From the North Pole, Weighing in at 235 pounds, Zander Clause!

Zander walks over to Damien and hands him a wrapped up gift. Damien opens uit up and it’s an official Zander action figure with the Elite X championship accessory. Damien takes out the tiny little replica belt and tries to put it over his dads shoulder, Naturally its too small.

‘Zander Clause’ and Steel lock up in the middle of the ring, Zander gets Steel in a side headlock and throws him into the corner. Zander charges at Steel and hits him with a Stinger Splash! Steel stumbles forward and Zander nails him with The Bucket! Steel drops to one knee and Zander follows up with a hard dropkick to the face. Steel lands on his stomach and Zander calls for the Spiral Staircase! Zander capitalises on the frantic start he has made and locks in the submission! Zander is looking to end this one early as Steel attempts to get to the bottom rope. Steel crawls over to the bottom rope but he’s just a foot too short. Zander rives even harder but Steel wont give up! Eventually Steel manages to get to the bottom rope and rolls to the outside holding his neck. Zander claps to the fans in appreciation, even though there is a loud ‘Lets go Steel, Lets go Zander’ chant dividing the audience. Zander allows Steel to get back into the ring and both men lock up again. This time Steel gets the better of Zander and takes him down with the side effect! Steel picks him up again and throws him into the ropes, Zander comes charging back and takes him out with a Lou Thez Press, he then lays the punches into the face of Zander until the referees count gets to four. Steel picks up Zander again and goes for the repeated punches! Half the crwod chant Steel whilst the other chant Boo in a chorus. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9.…..10! Zander falls back to the mat as Steel makes the cover. 1, 2, Kick out!

Connor: This crowd is very vocal here tonight Jack. Both of these men are fan favourites.

Cohen: Well the fans defiantly know who they want to win! I’m not sure who I want to win though, both of these guys kinda look like Santa.

Steel picks up Zander again and throws him into the corner. Steel charges at Zander but Zander moves out of the way and Steel goes chest first into the turnbuckle. Steel stumbles backwards and Zander jumps to the top rope and hit’s a moonsault onto the standing Steel, Zander lands directly onto Steel and makes the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Zander and Steel both get up, Zander grabs Steel round the neck and nails him with a DDT. Zander runs towards the ropes and nails Steel with the Lionsault! Zander makes the cover again. 1, 2, kick out again! Zander is looking frustrated and picks up Steel. Zander goes to pick up Steel for the Rolling fireman’s carry slam, but he’s too heavy for Zander to pick up, Steel follows up on Zander with a hard clothesline taking him off his feet. Steel picks up Zander and nails him with the pump handle power bomb! Zander looks hurt and Steel goes for the cover. 1, 2, kick out! Steel looks pissed but Damien bangs on the mat from the outside encouraging his dad! Steel gives him the thumbs up and pick up Zander again. This time Steel throws Zander into the ropes, Steel and Zander have the same idea though and both nail each other with a flying clothesline, taking each other out.

Connor: This is one of the most evenly match ups I’ve seen in a long time Jack. Who do you think will come out on top here tonight?

Cohen: I think Steel may have the size advantage here that could win him the bout. But Zander has the speed, hmm.. You know what? I cant decide!

Zander and Steel both get back to their feet. Steel grabs Zander round the neck and locks in the headlock, Zander gets out of the hold and throws Steel against the ropes. Steel comes charging back but Zander leap frogs over Steel, Steel comes running back again but Zander drops to the grounds an Steel Goes into the ropes again, this time Zander goes for a double knee kick to Steel but Steel grabs him in mid air, lifts him up and nails him with the Muscle Buster! Steel turns around to cover Zander but his momentum has luckily taken him out of the ring. Steel looks annoyed and leans over the ropes to see where Zander has landed. Steel rolls out of the ring to get Zander. He picks up Zander and throws him back into the ring, Steel goes for the cover. 1, 2, Kick out! Steel picks up Zander again and goes for the Muscle Buster again, he lifts up Zander into the manoeuvre position but Zander rolls over the top of Steel and locks him up in the rollup! Steel is struggling to kick out here! 1, 2, 3!

Anderson: Here is your winner, Zander Clause!

Connor: It’s a Christmas Miracle! Zander has really shocked everyone here tonight with the win!

Cohen: I must admit this has been an enthralling match up, but this league is far from over, every man involved is still very much in with a chance of going to Kingdom Come. I cant wait to find out.
 
Anderson: It is now time for another great match from our exclusive Elite X Number One contender leagues. This match will be contested to one fall and the winner will receive one precious point in the respective league.

“Monster” by Skillet hits the arena as Karnage comes out onto the stage. He is looking very focused and determined as he stands on top of the stage. The crowd erupt with furious booing and chants aimed at Karnage. Karnage looks around the arena and then nonchalantly walks down the ramp.

Cohen: Karnage doesn’t care what these people think of him. Don’t these people know that, CC?

Connor: I guess not, Jack. However, his act at our tribute to the troops was deplorable. These people have every right to voice their opinion on the matter. Nevertheless, Karnage has a lot to prove here tonight. After a tough match against Chris Beckford, Karnage will want to take home the point that is on offer.

Anderson: Introducing, the first competitor. Weighing in at 287 pounds, from Scotland in the United Kingdom. Karnage!

Karnage continues down the ramp and as he reaches the ring, slides under the bottom rope. He moves around the ring quickly, looking out in every direction as a chorus of boos rain down upon him. He merely smiles and mounts the turnbuckle.

“The Star-Spangled Banner” by Jimi Hendrix hits the arena as an American flag waves upon the titantron. After a few moments, USA comes out to a rapturous applause from the crowd. He turns and salutes the flag and then preens for the crowd.

Connor: Both of these men have had contrasting league campaigns thus far, Jack. Karnage won his two point match and USA lost out to Zander last week. How do you think this will affect USA?

Cohen: It doesn’t matter about form, CC. Karnage has only been pinned twice and people still think they can beat him. Form clearly means nothing and USA will be of the mindset that anything is possible here tonight.

Anderson: Now introducing his opponent. Weighing in at 257 pounds, from Corpus Christi, Texas. He is “The Only Super-power”, USA!

The crowd erupt into loud cheers for their idol and as USA makes his way down the ramp, As he reaches the ring he drops to the floor and does three military style push-ups, accompanied by pyro in the background. USA slides under the bottom rope and snaps off four salutes to the fans, one in each corner.

Connor: A very valuable point at stake here, folks. Let’s see who can come out on top.

The referee makes his final checks and signals for the bell. USA comes out cautiously as Karnage nonchalantly makes his way to the centre of the ring. Both men face up to one another in the middle of the ring and the anticipation of the match can be felt. All of a sudden Karnage unleashes a huge clothesline on USA that takes him to the canvas. Karnage covers but USA kicks out before 1. Both men get to their feet and USA attempts a clothesline of his own. Karnage is aware though and ducks underneath the flailing arm of USA. He turns around and lands a big boot to USA, taking him to the canvas once more. Karnage attempts to lock in the Sharpshooter but USA is too strong for him just now, USA begins to kick frantically making it hard for Karnage to lock his legs down and apply the move. USA gives one last ferocious kick and Karnage tumble off.

Both men get to their feet and Karnage comes rushing at USA. However, USA is waiting for him and hoists him high onto his shoulder, looking for the Samoan Drop. Karnage manages to transition around though and lands a huge DDT from the elevated position. Both men are strewn out but it is Karnage who is getting to his feet first. Karnage regains his vertical basis and moves over to the corner before crouching on the spot. It looks as though he is waiting for the Spear and as USA gets up, Karnage runs at him. USA moves out of the way at the last second and Karnage runs through, USA looks to land a lariat as Karnage turns back around but Karnage ducks under it once more and lands the Early Release. The crowd let out a gasp as Karnage connects flush and then picks USA up to his feet. He puts him in the Solitary Confinement and lands it in the middle of the ring. He covers USA and the referee begins to count. 1…2…3

Anderson: Here is your winner… Karnage!

Cohen: What did I tell you, CC. Karnage is unstoppable! He is moving on to facing the Elite X Champion and there is little that anyone can do about it. They all talk about pinning him but when it comes to game time, they all fall by the wayside.

Connor: Karnage was certainly impressive here tonight. He has cemented his place on top of the Elite X league and looks to be well on his way.
 
Anderson: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!

"Sound of Madness" by Shinedown begins as John Smith makes his way to the entrance ramp and makes his way down to the ring, looking out at the crowd in disgust. He enters the ring and stands in the corner.

Anderson: Introducing first, from London, England, he stands 6'6" and weighs 260 lbs, John Smith.

"Supernova Goes Pop" by Powerman 5000 hits the sound system as Everest walks out, the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around his waist. The crowd immediately bursts into a loud chorus of boos as he makes his way down the ramp. He enters the ring and unbuckles his championship belt and holds it up as the crowd continues to boo.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Los Angeles, California, he stands 6'0" and weighs 205 lbs., the WZCW World Heavyweight Champion, Everest!

Connor: John Smith did get a very good pick for his tryout match did he Cohen?


Cohen:John Smith? What is this guy afraid of using his real name? I fully expect Everest to take down this brute swiftly and focus again on Titus.

The ref signals for the bell as Smith and Everest look to tie up. Everest slips behind Smith and quickly takes him down with a suplex. Everest begins targeting Smith's knee by kicking away at it before applying a kneebar. Smith is able to kick Everest away and gets to his feet, going for a clothesline but Everest ducks and connects with a spinning heel kick, knocking Smith to the ground. Everest covers him but only gets a 2 count. Everest quickly goes back to the knee bar, applying pressure to wear down Smith. Smith is able to kick Everest off once more. Everest rushes towards Smith as he struggles to his feet, but Smith counters with a spinebuster!

Connor: That just changed the tone of this match! Smith suddenly has the advantage on the WZCW World Champ!

Cohen: He got one lucky break, let's see if he can use his impressive strength to pull off the upset.

Smith stomps at the chest of Everest before pulling him to his feet and whipping him into the ropes. Everest attempts a cross body block but Smith catches him and drops him down hard with a running powerslam. Smith goes for the cover but only gets a two count. Smith drags Everest up once again and whips him to the corner, following up and connecting with a big splash. Everest stumbles out of the corner and promptly gets lifted up in a military press by Smith. Smith sends Everest careening across the ring and landing in the opposite corner as Smith poses for the crowd.

Cohen: A big rookie mistake there Double C, you never turn your back on the World Champion, especially to pander to the crowd.

Connor: He has taken control of this match however Cohen. He's easily overpowering the smaller Everest.


Smith turns around and charges the rising Everest, but Everest moves out of the way and Smith hits the turnbuckle head first. He turns around and gets hit with an enziguiri from Everest. Smith stays on his feet but looks dazed. Everest takes advantage and connects with a short arm clothesline. Smith bounces back up and goes for a clothesline but Everest ducks and connects with a German Suplex. He bridges it and goes for the pin, getting a two count. Smith slowly gets to his feet as Everest signals for The Rock Slide. Smith gets up and Everest grabs him, but Smith counters with an inverted atomic drop. Everest moves away from Smith towards a corner and Smith takes the moment to collect his thoughts before going for The Incapacitation! Everest moves aside and Smith goes shoulder first into the ring post. Smith stumbles out of the corner and gets hit with The Rock Slide out of nowhere!. Everest covers and gets the 3 count.

Anderson: Here is your winner, Everest!

Connor: That was a great showing by the newcomer Smith, but he eventually fell to the World Champion. Everest continues to impress as we get closer to Kingdom come.


Cohen: Smith has great strength but he made too many mental mistakes. That can be fatal against someone like Everest Double C. I gurantee Everest has a fail safe plan for Titus, and I fully expect him to continue as our WZCW World Heavyweight Champion after Kingdom Come.

Everest gets to his feet and grabs the WZCW World Heavyweight Championship from the ref and holds it up as the crowd begins to boo once more. Everest hops out of the ring and makes his way up the ramp and to the back.

Connor: We still have some great matches left to come, up next is the Elite X Champion Frankie Smith taking on the red hot Carmen Bratchny!
 
We come back from commercials with Carmen Bratchny and Frankie Smith in the ring accompanied by the ring announcer and referee.

Anderson: Ladies and gentlemen, this match is scheduled for one fall.

Introducing first, from Krasnoyarsk, Russia, Weighing in at 230 pounds, Carmen Bratchny!

A loud pop goes up from the crowd as the fan favourite is announced.

Anderson: And his opponent, from Dublin, Ireland, weighing in at 238 pounds, the WZCW Elite X Champion, Frankie Smith!

The referee signals for the bell and we are underway.

Carmen and Frankie begin the match with a flourish with both men immediately launching themselves into a fierce grapple. Both of these competitors want a win here and both men are trying to get the better of the other in the early going. Frankie digs in and pushes Carmen towards the ropes. Frankie applies some more pressure as Carmen is on the back-foot. Carmen ducks under the third rope and the referee signals for the break. Frankie cautiously does so but as Carmen ducks his head back under the rope to enter the ring, Frankie lands a knee to the gut. Carmen takes the impact to his gut and is bent double, Frankie takes this opportunity to land a kick to the side of the head of his opponent. The referee immediately lectures Frankie as a wide smile appears upon his face. Carmen begins to get to his feet as Frankie looks on. As Carmen arrives at his vertical basis, Frankie quickly lands a few punches that knocks Carmen off balance. Frankie sees his opportunity and plants his opponent with a belly to belly Suplex that sends Carmen half-way across the ring. Frankie quickly scuttles over and covers Carmen. The referee begins to count. 1…2… Kick out by Carmen.

Connor: A very one-sided start to this match. Frankie taking advantage of his opponent mistakes is nothing new but this has been brutal so far.

Cohen: It’s why he is the Champion, CC. I wouldn’t expect you to understand but winning is quite important for the WZCW roster.

Connor: I understand just fine, Jack.

As Frankie is getting to his feet, he pulls Carmen to his feet also. Carmen puts up some resistance by hitting Frankie with a few punches to the gut and then to the face as he begins to stand upright. Carmen begins to gain some momentum as the crowd begin to anticipate his attack on Frankie. Carmen runs off of the ropes and on the way back, looks to land a lariat to Frankie. Frankie ducks under his onrushing opponent arm and as Carmen stops, Frankie runs at him. Carmen realises it though and lands a drop-toe-hold on his opponent, taking him to the canvas. Carmen quickly transitions into a Boston crab and applies tremendous amounts of pressure to the lower extremities of Frankie. Frankie struggles to deal with the pain and the picture of agony is etched upon his face. With a huge effort on the part of Frankie, he launches himself at the bottom rope. Grabbing it with both hands, Frankie urges the referee to call for the break. The referee obliges and after a second so does Carmen.

Cohen: Break the hold you damn Russian!

Connor: He did, Jack. That was perfectly fair.

Cohen: Oh! How did I see that one coming from you CC? You are so biased, you know that right?

Carmen begins to pace across the ring and after a second, moves back towards Frankie who is struggling to get to his feet. Carmen reaches out to him and he is about to make contact with Frankie, Frankie kicks the leg away from Carmen. Carmen falls to the ground as the unexpected nature of the hit takes its toll. Frankie slaps the back of his leg to get some blood flowing again after a devastating Boston Crab. Frankie is quick to attempt to take advantage though and moves towards Carmen. Carmen is playing possum though and rolls up Frankie. The referee begins to count but Frankie kicks out before his hand reaches the canvas for the first time. Frankie immediately springs up and connects with a Samoan Drop that crushes the ribs of Carmen. Carmen is writhing in agony as Frankie gets to his feet and the crowd begin to boo loudly. Frankie awaits Carmen getting up once more and drives him into the corner of the ring with a few chops to his chest and clubbing blows to the head. As he gets into the corner, Carmen attempts to fight back but is unsuccessful as Frankie lands a spinning forearm and then a neckbreaker that takes Carmen down. Frankie begins to pull Carmen away from the ropes and once he is in a suitable position, leaves him and exits the ring onto the apron.

Connor: I think Frankie Smith may have high hopes for the next few moments in this match!

Cohen: … That was terrible, CC. I am ashamed.

Frankie gets to the top of the ropes and as Carmen begins to squirm, launches himself off of his elevated position, looking for a moonsault. Carmen manages to get his knees up though and Frankie comes crashing down upon them. Frankie recoils across the ring and Carmen begins to recover. Using the ropes to get himself to his feet, Carmen begins to slowly make his way over to his opponent. Carmen picks up Frankie and looks to be going to perform the G-Force on Frankie. However, he is physically drained and he cannot pull of the move. Frankie quickly rolls through and puts Carmen into the school boy pin. Carmen kicks out and gets to his feet quickly. Frankie immediately plants him with the G-Force and covers him. The referee begins to count. 1…2…3.

Anderson: Here is your winner… Frankie Smith!

Frankie grabs his belt and high-tails

Connor: A great match there as –

The rWo’s music hits as Ricky comes out to a loud chorus of boos emanating from the crowd.

Ricky: Look at you, Carmen! Lying on the canvas in a desolate heap! You think you can take on the Real World Champion yet you can’t even beat the Elite X Champion.

Ricky sneers at Frankie as he passes him on the ramp.

Ricky: I have a good mind to come down there and whoop your ass.

Ricky thinks for a moment and then drops his mic before heading down to the ring at a rapid pace. Carmen is just getting up as Ricky slides under the bottom rope and into the ring. Carmen turns around as Ricky lies in wait. Suddenly, Ricky plants him with the Blunderbuss. Ricky gets to his feet and looks as though he is going to exit the ring before turning back to Carmen, who is writhing slightly. Ricky picks up Carmen and looks him dead in they eye with a pitying look upon his face before planting him with another Blunderbuss.

Cohen: Yeah, Ricky! Get him!

Connor: That's enough! You’ve sent your message.

We're inside Vance Bateman's office who's with Becky Serra watching the action that just took place.

Bateman: That was a fine match right there, I won't worry about Ricky so much, he didn't affect the outcome. However, I got a great idea for next week's Ascension with Bratchny.

Serra: What is it?

Bateman: Well I think I should...

Frankie Smith comes running in

...Frankie, the door is there for a reason. That means you need to knock before coming on in here! Now, what can I do for you?

Smith: Vance, I apologise, but I want to prove myself as the Elite X Champion. You make me jump through hoops. You let Myles book me on Meltdown, you let me beat Bratchny, I need to prove myself and have a title defence! I don't want to wait until Kingdom Come. I've beaten Bratchny, I can beat anyone!

Knock at the door, a random guy enters

Random: Hey Mr. Bateman, you wished to see me?

Bateman: I'll tell you what Frankie, next week on Ascension, you will defend your Elite X Championship against WZCW's newest aquisition

Frankie turns and stares at the random guy

Smith: Who the hell are you?!

Random: The name's Austin Reynolds, but you can call me the next Elite X Champion! See you next week...Frankie!

Reynolds walks out as Frankie shakes his head with a smug look on his face.
 
”Hail Mary” by 2pac hits the sound system as James Baker with his title around his waist and Malik Jones make their way out to a large pop.

Anderson: Introducing first, from Compton, California, he weighs 232 lbs. and stands 6'0", James Baker!

He slaps hands with the fans down the aisle before sliding into the ring and jumping to the second turnbuckle, posing for the crowd with his title held high.

Connor: James Baker has been ridding a huge wave of momentum since his return. The time off has certainly done wonders for his career and his attitude.

Cohen: James has sold out his rebelious attitude to be liked by the fans. He sould be calling himself Da PG Xtreme Gangsta

Then Violet Hill by Coldplay comes on and the arena goes dark to a small pop from the crowd. The lights come back on and you can see people on the stage on their knees and worshipping Excellency as he walks down the entrance ramp.

Anderson: His opponent, from Vatican City, weighing 260 pounds, Excellency!

Connor: Here comes the enlightened Excellency. Coming off his win in the Deadwood match, how badly does he need a win here Cohen?

Cohen: Excellency does not want to lose here tonight and fall into the same hole he dug himself out of. Or else his ring name will become Mediocrity.

"Hello" by Brookroyal sounds as Matt Royale makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring and poses to the jeers from the crowd. Royale climbs to the second turnbuckle and poses again to the crowd.

Anderson: And their opponent, From St. Louis Missouri, Weighing in at 235 pound, Matt Royale!

Connor: And here is the over-confident Matt Royale. Royale looks particularly instense today.

Cohen: His eyes are deadlocked on the champ. Royale is determined to prove that he is WZCW royalty and win here will give him the gold he craves.

Royale continues to have his eyes fixed on Baker as the ref raises the belt and then signals for the bell. Royale quickly strikes Excellency to the floor and begins stomping down on him. As Baker approaches, Royale quickly rolls out of the ring and backs slowly away, hands up high

Connor: That Royale acted like he wanted a piece of Baker, but ran the second he came near.

Cohen: Royale is just waiting for the right moment. Baker knows how to fight from the street, but Royale is simply waiting for when that fool screws up and then Royalty shall prevail.

Baker turns his attention to Excellency now. He picks him up and irish whips him into the corner and follows that up with a stiff clothesline. Royale stares intently at Baker which draws his notice. Baker irish whips Excellency to the other corner and again hits a clothesline. He then goes for the bulldog. Excellency starts running and pushes Baker hard into the opposite turnbuckle. He then quickly goes for a roll up. 1, Royale slides in and breaks it up at 2. Royale quickly slides back out as Excellency gives chase. Royale runs to the announcers table and quickly grabs a steel chair. Excellency stands at the ropes taunting Royale to fight like a man. Baker with a forearm to the back of Excellency, as he turns and is met with more punches. A few more punches by Baker and Excellency is against the ropes. Baker goes for the irish whip. Excellency counters and hits a belly to belly suplex on Baker. Royale jumps on the ring apron looking to sneak a shot, But Excellency quickly gets up and meets him with a forearm, sending Royale back down to the floor. Excellency now on the apron, connects with a double-hand axle. He picks up Royale and irish whips him into the steel steps. Royale crys in agony as Excellency gives him a couple of boots to the chest, followed by a snap suplex.

Connor: Excellency is rolling right now. I’m betting Royale regrets calling this talented wrestler “Mediocrity”

Cohen: Excellency has yet to make a big impact here in WZCW. Untill he does, I’m agreeing with Matt Royale here.

Connor: Well look now Cohen. He’s about to make an impact on our table!

Excellency has Royale in front of the table. He goes to slam his head, but Royale blocks and hits an elbow to the gut. Royale then slams Excellency’s head against the announce table and knocks him to the floor with a european uppercut. He picks him up and follows with a swinging neck breaker on the concrete. Royale gets up and raises a pinky to the fans, inducing boos. Excellency is up and Royale punches him. Excellency punches back. Baker is up and climbs the turnbuckle closest to them. Excellency and Royale turn to see Baker fying off the turnbuckle. Moonsault connects as all three men are lying on the concrete.

Connor: What a move by Baker!

Cohen: Always be aware of the forgotten third man. That’s the only mistake Royale will make this match.

Connor: Showing a little favouritism this match Cohen.

Cohen: Well at least I don’t always follow the crowd Cat. I cheer for a winner.

Baker is up first and he reaches under the ring and pulls out a 2 foot club. He works the crowd into a frenzy as Royale is up first and is met with a club shot to the ribs. Baker follows this up with a bulldog and goes for a pin. 1, 2, Excellency stomps on Baker. He picks him up and throws him against the ring wall. Excellency stomps away at Baker, then picks him up and irish whips him towards the steel steps. Baker counters and ducks a clothesline by Excellency as he runs past him. He turns and then connects with a shinning wizard as Excellency turns around. Baker jumps up the apron and signals to the crowd. Excellency gets up and Baker goes for a flying cross body. Excellency catches him in midair and throws him over his head, fall-away slam. Royale is up and is hit by Bakers flying body. Both men are down, Baker on top. 1, 2, Excellency breaks it up.

Connor: Exciting series of counters we just had there. Excellency counters Baker’s cross body, but ends up throwing Baker into a pinning predicament.

Cohen: That’s the chaotic nature of Mayhem rules Cat. And these men are looking to cause some hurt.

Excellency throws Baker into the ring. He then reaches under and pulls out a table and slides it into the ring. He gets in and starts stomping away at Baker. He throws Baker into the turnbuckle and throws a couple more jabs. The then picks up the table and places it against the opposite turnbuckle. Excellency then goes back to Baker, who quickly throws him into the ropes and lets loose some rapid fire punches. Baker then irish whips Excellency towards the corner, who counters and throws him to the corner. Baker stops just before hitting the table and turns and connects heads with Excellency, stunning the two. Baker recovers first and goes to snap suplex Excellency into the table. Excellency breaks up the suplex and hooks Bakers waist. Lifts Baker up for the gut wrench powerbomb. Baker counters. Huricanrana threw the table.

Connor: Baker with another unbeleivable counter. Sending Excellency head first threw the table.

Cohen: This effectively puts Mediocrity out of the match. I hope he’s a better carpenter then he is a wrestler.

Replays are shown as Baker gets up and is greeted by a Spear of Royalty from Royale. Baker rolls to the ring apron as Royale waits for him to get to his feet. Baker does and Royale runs and nails a front drop kick, sending Baker flying into the ring wall. Royale turns his attention to Excellency, who is still recovering. Royale taunts the crowd as the boo him relentlessly. Excellency is staggering to his feet as Royale comes from behind and slams him into the ground, locking in the anaconda vice.

Cohen: Royale Execution! Come on Royale, make Mediocrity tap.

Connor: Excellency, not Mediocrity, is a long way from the ropes. I don’t know how much longer he’ll be able to withstand the pain.

Excellency looks to be fading fast as Royale leans back. Baker with a chair on the top rope. Diving Elbow with a chair breaks up the Royale Execution. Excellency rolls out of the ring holding his arm. Baker and Royale are up. Baker ducks a punch form Royale and connects with a few. He bounces off the ropes and hits a flying elbow. Royale gets back up and Baker knocks him down with a clothesline. Leg drop by Baker as he goes for the pin. 1, 2, kickout by Royale. Baker picks him up and irish whips him into the ropes. Royale counters throwing Baker instead and bends over. Baker dives over and rolls Royale up. 1, 2, Royale kicks out. Royale with a quick knee to the gut of Baker. He throws Baker over the ropes, but Baker hangs on. Baker with a forearm sending Royale across the ring. Baker jumps on the ropes, springboard flying forearm. Royale picks up the chair in the ring and nails Baker perfectly, sending Baker straight down to the mat.

Connor: What a vicious chair shot! Baker may be out cold.

Cohen: Come on Royale. Nows not the time to be showboating. Pin him and save the Mayhem division.

Royale drops the chair and casually pins Baker. 1, 2... Baker gets a shoulder up inches before 3. The crowd erupts as Royale can’t believe he kicked out. Royale goes outside the ring and pulls out a table. He sets it up outside and slides back in. He lifts Baker up and hits a back suplex on the chair. Baker cries out in pain. Royale with the cover. 1, 2... another kickout by Baker. Royale slaps on a a figure four leg lock. Baker whinces in pain as the ref checks to see if his shoulders are down. Crowd starts chanting “Baker”. Baker shakes his fists and tries turning over Royale. He finally does and Royale cries out in pain before letting go. Both men are slow to get up. The two exchange punches before Baker gains the upper hand. Baker with an irish whip, countered by Royale. Royale with a front drop kick, but misses as Baker holds onto the ropes. Baker rolls up Royale. 1, 2, Royale kicks out. Royale surprises Baker and quickly rolls him up. 1, 2, kickout by Baker. Royale with a quick european uppercut. He irish whips Baker to the turnbuckle. Baker jumps on the turnbuckle, turns and hits a Hurricanrana on Royale. Royale is in the corner with the steel chair. Baker charges with a Shinny Wizard. Royale holds the chair up as Baker drives his knee into it. Baker falls back in pain and Royale to his knees.

Cohen: Quick thinking by Royale. That knee of Bakers has got to be cracked again. Royale is going to win.

Connor: That chair may have saved Royale, but the force of Baker still drove the chair into Royale. He may have hurt him almost as much as it hurt Baker.

Cohen: Royale knows how to use a chair, Cat. He is going to win this, I know it.

Royale crawls towards Baker, but is blocked by the big boots of Excellency. Excellency picks him up and irish whips him off the ropes, Kick to the face connects. He picks him up again and throws him off the ropes. Sidewalk slam, Excellency goes for the pin. 1, 2... Royale kicks out. Excellency goes for a gutwrench powerbomb, but Royale quickly moves behind him and hits a german suplex pin. 1, 2... Excellency kicks out. Royale picks up Excellency and throws him into the turnbuckle. He lifts him up and is attempting to suplex him outside through the table. Excellency with elbows causes Royale to fall back into the ring. Excellency gets down and lifts up Royale up with the gut wrench. Powerbomb through the table outside.

Connor: A royal crash

Cohen: Stop joking. This can’t be happening.

Excellency turns to Baker whose resting on the ropes. Excellency goes to grab him but is guillotined by the ropes. Baker climbs on the turnbuckle and connects with a cross body into a pin. 1, 2... Excellency kicks out. Baker goes for Da Xtreme Knockout. Excellency counters and tires to lock in a dragon sleeper. Baker kicks him in the head and applies The Notorious Clutch. The ref slides in position to see if Excellency’s tapping. Excellency looks about ready to tap. Royale suddenly gets a hand on the refs leg and pulls him out as Excellency is tapping. Baker thinks he’s won and is stunned to see Royale outside with the ref. Baker goes to the ropes, but Royale quickly pulls him onto the floor and kicks his knee. Royale slides into the ring and sets up a double arm DDT. Excellency punches the midsection and lifts Royale on his shoulders, going for The Crowning. Royale slips off the back, and hits his double underhook DDT, Crown Jeweling. He rolls over Excellency and stands up as Baker takes his head off with a huge chair shot. Royale falls throught the ropes as Baker covers Excellency. 1, 2... 3.


Anderson: And here is your winner and STILL WZCW Mayhem Champion! James Baker!

Connor: What a match by all three competitiors, but in the end Baker was the better man tonight.

Cohen: Royale was robbed. Bigger robbery than the crown jewels being stolen.

Connor: That chair certainly came back to haunt him in the end.

Cohen: That it may have, but the future King for a Day escapes without a loss today, while Baker wins yet again and Excellency returns to the drawing board.

Connor: And with that Jack, we've run out of time. So Ladies and Gentlemen, I wish you a very Merry Christmas and we'll see at the first Ascension for 2010!

Cohen: One last thing before we go...pucker up Cat, here's the mistletoe!

Connor: See you next year everybody!

Cohen: Dammit!
