Hail Mary by 2pac hits the sound system as James Baker with his title around his waist and Malik Jones make their way out to a large pop.
Anderson: Introducing first, from Compton, California, he weighs 232 lbs. and stands 6'0", James Baker!
He slaps hands with the fans down the aisle before sliding into the ring and jumping to the second turnbuckle, posing for the crowd with his title held high.
Connor: James Baker has been ridding a huge wave of momentum since his return. The time off has certainly done wonders for his career and his attitude.
Cohen: James has sold out his rebelious attitude to be liked by the fans. He sould be calling himself Da PG Xtreme Gangsta
Then Violet Hill by Coldplay comes on and the arena goes dark to a small pop from the crowd. The lights come back on and you can see people on the stage on their knees and worshipping Excellency as he walks down the entrance ramp.
Anderson: His opponent, from Vatican City, weighing 260 pounds, Excellency!
Connor: Here comes the enlightened Excellency. Coming off his win in the Deadwood match, how badly does he need a win here Cohen?
Cohen: Excellency does not want to lose here tonight and fall into the same hole he dug himself out of. Or else his ring name will become Mediocrity.
"Hello" by Brookroyal sounds as Matt Royale makes his way to the ring. He enters the ring and poses to the jeers from the crowd. Royale climbs to the second turnbuckle and poses again to the crowd.
Anderson: And their opponent, From St. Louis Missouri, Weighing in at 235 pound, Matt Royale!
Connor: And here is the over-confident Matt Royale. Royale looks particularly instense today.
Cohen: His eyes are deadlocked on the champ. Royale is determined to prove that he is WZCW royalty and win here will give him the gold he craves.
Royale continues to have his eyes fixed on Baker as the ref raises the belt and then signals for the bell. Royale quickly strikes Excellency to the floor and begins stomping down on him. As Baker approaches, Royale quickly rolls out of the ring and backs slowly away, hands up high
Connor: That Royale acted like he wanted a piece of Baker, but ran the second he came near.
Cohen: Royale is just waiting for the right moment. Baker knows how to fight from the street, but Royale is simply waiting for when that fool screws up and then Royalty shall prevail.
Baker turns his attention to Excellency now. He picks him up and irish whips him into the corner and follows that up with a stiff clothesline. Royale stares intently at Baker which draws his notice. Baker irish whips Excellency to the other corner and again hits a clothesline. He then goes for the bulldog. Excellency starts running and pushes Baker hard into the opposite turnbuckle. He then quickly goes for a roll up. 1, Royale slides in and breaks it up at 2. Royale quickly slides back out as Excellency gives chase. Royale runs to the announcers table and quickly grabs a steel chair. Excellency stands at the ropes taunting Royale to fight like a man. Baker with a forearm to the back of Excellency, as he turns and is met with more punches. A few more punches by Baker and Excellency is against the ropes. Baker goes for the irish whip. Excellency counters and hits a belly to belly suplex on Baker. Royale jumps on the ring apron looking to sneak a shot, But Excellency quickly gets up and meets him with a forearm, sending Royale back down to the floor. Excellency now on the apron, connects with a double-hand axle. He picks up Royale and irish whips him into the steel steps. Royale crys in agony as Excellency gives him a couple of boots to the chest, followed by a snap suplex.
Connor: Excellency is rolling right now. Im betting Royale regrets calling this talented wrestler Mediocrity
Cohen: Excellency has yet to make a big impact here in WZCW. Untill he does, Im agreeing with Matt Royale here.
Connor: Well look now Cohen. Hes about to make an impact on our table!
Excellency has Royale in front of the table. He goes to slam his head, but Royale blocks and hits an elbow to the gut. Royale then slams Excellencys head against the announce table and knocks him to the floor with a european uppercut. He picks him up and follows with a swinging neck breaker on the concrete. Royale gets up and raises a pinky to the fans, inducing boos. Excellency is up and Royale punches him. Excellency punches back. Baker is up and climbs the turnbuckle closest to them. Excellency and Royale turn to see Baker fying off the turnbuckle. Moonsault connects as all three men are lying on the concrete.
Connor: What a move by Baker!
Cohen: Always be aware of the forgotten third man. Thats the only mistake Royale will make this match.
Connor: Showing a little favouritism this match Cohen.
Cohen: Well at least I dont always follow the crowd Cat. I cheer for a winner.
Baker is up first and he reaches under the ring and pulls out a 2 foot club. He works the crowd into a frenzy as Royale is up first and is met with a club shot to the ribs. Baker follows this up with a bulldog and goes for a pin. 1, 2, Excellency stomps on Baker. He picks him up and throws him against the ring wall. Excellency stomps away at Baker, then picks him up and irish whips him towards the steel steps. Baker counters and ducks a clothesline by Excellency as he runs past him. He turns and then connects with a shinning wizard as Excellency turns around. Baker jumps up the apron and signals to the crowd. Excellency gets up and Baker goes for a flying cross body. Excellency catches him in midair and throws him over his head, fall-away slam. Royale is up and is hit by Bakers flying body. Both men are down, Baker on top. 1, 2, Excellency breaks it up.
Connor: Exciting series of counters we just had there. Excellency counters Bakers cross body, but ends up throwing Baker into a pinning predicament.
Cohen: Thats the chaotic nature of Mayhem rules Cat. And these men are looking to cause some hurt.
Excellency throws Baker into the ring. He then reaches under and pulls out a table and slides it into the ring. He gets in and starts stomping away at Baker. He throws Baker into the turnbuckle and throws a couple more jabs. The then picks up the table and places it against the opposite turnbuckle. Excellency then goes back to Baker, who quickly throws him into the ropes and lets loose some rapid fire punches. Baker then irish whips Excellency towards the corner, who counters and throws him to the corner. Baker stops just before hitting the table and turns and connects heads with Excellency, stunning the two. Baker recovers first and goes to snap suplex Excellency into the table. Excellency breaks up the suplex and hooks Bakers waist. Lifts Baker up for the gut wrench powerbomb. Baker counters. Huricanrana threw the table.
Connor: Baker with another unbeleivable counter. Sending Excellency head first threw the table.
Cohen: This effectively puts Mediocrity out of the match. I hope hes a better carpenter then he is a wrestler.
Replays are shown as Baker gets up and is greeted by a Spear of Royalty from Royale. Baker rolls to the ring apron as Royale waits for him to get to his feet. Baker does and Royale runs and nails a front drop kick, sending Baker flying into the ring wall. Royale turns his attention to Excellency, who is still recovering. Royale taunts the crowd as the boo him relentlessly. Excellency is staggering to his feet as Royale comes from behind and slams him into the ground, locking in the anaconda vice.
Cohen: Royale Execution! Come on Royale, make Mediocrity tap.
Connor: Excellency, not Mediocrity, is a long way from the ropes. I dont know how much longer hell be able to withstand the pain.
Excellency looks to be fading fast as Royale leans back. Baker with a chair on the top rope. Diving Elbow with a chair breaks up the Royale Execution. Excellency rolls out of the ring holding his arm. Baker and Royale are up. Baker ducks a punch form Royale and connects with a few. He bounces off the ropes and hits a flying elbow. Royale gets back up and Baker knocks him down with a clothesline. Leg drop by Baker as he goes for the pin. 1, 2, kickout by Royale. Baker picks him up and irish whips him into the ropes. Royale counters throwing Baker instead and bends over. Baker dives over and rolls Royale up. 1, 2, Royale kicks out. Royale with a quick knee to the gut of Baker. He throws Baker over the ropes, but Baker hangs on. Baker with a forearm sending Royale across the ring. Baker jumps on the ropes, springboard flying forearm. Royale picks up the chair in the ring and nails Baker perfectly, sending Baker straight down to the mat.
Connor: What a vicious chair shot! Baker may be out cold.
Cohen: Come on Royale. Nows not the time to be showboating. Pin him and save the Mayhem division.
Royale drops the chair and casually pins Baker. 1, 2... Baker gets a shoulder up inches before 3. The crowd erupts as Royale cant believe he kicked out. Royale goes outside the ring and pulls out a table. He sets it up outside and slides back in. He lifts Baker up and hits a back suplex on the chair. Baker cries out in pain. Royale with the cover. 1, 2... another kickout by Baker. Royale slaps on a a figure four leg lock. Baker whinces in pain as the ref checks to see if his shoulders are down. Crowd starts chanting Baker. Baker shakes his fists and tries turning over Royale. He finally does and Royale cries out in pain before letting go. Both men are slow to get up. The two exchange punches before Baker gains the upper hand. Baker with an irish whip, countered by Royale. Royale with a front drop kick, but misses as Baker holds onto the ropes. Baker rolls up Royale. 1, 2, Royale kicks out. Royale surprises Baker and quickly rolls him up. 1, 2, kickout by Baker. Royale with a quick european uppercut. He irish whips Baker to the turnbuckle. Baker jumps on the turnbuckle, turns and hits a Hurricanrana on Royale. Royale is in the corner with the steel chair. Baker charges with a Shinny Wizard. Royale holds the chair up as Baker drives his knee into it. Baker falls back in pain and Royale to his knees.
Cohen: Quick thinking by Royale. That knee of Bakers has got to be cracked again. Royale is going to win.
Connor: That chair may have saved Royale, but the force of Baker still drove the chair into Royale. He may have hurt him almost as much as it hurt Baker.
Cohen: Royale knows how to use a chair, Cat. He is going to win this, I know it.
Royale crawls towards Baker, but is blocked by the big boots of Excellency. Excellency picks him up and irish whips him off the ropes, Kick to the face connects. He picks him up again and throws him off the ropes. Sidewalk slam, Excellency goes for the pin. 1, 2... Royale kicks out. Excellency goes for a gutwrench powerbomb, but Royale quickly moves behind him and hits a german suplex pin. 1, 2... Excellency kicks out. Royale picks up Excellency and throws him into the turnbuckle. He lifts him up and is attempting to suplex him outside through the table. Excellency with elbows causes Royale to fall back into the ring. Excellency gets down and lifts up Royale up with the gut wrench. Powerbomb through the table outside.
Connor: A royal crash
Cohen: Stop joking. This cant be happening.
Excellency turns to Baker whose resting on the ropes. Excellency goes to grab him but is guillotined by the ropes. Baker climbs on the turnbuckle and connects with a cross body into a pin. 1, 2... Excellency kicks out. Baker goes for Da Xtreme Knockout. Excellency counters and tires to lock in a dragon sleeper. Baker kicks him in the head and applies The Notorious Clutch. The ref slides in position to see if Excellencys tapping. Excellency looks about ready to tap. Royale suddenly gets a hand on the refs leg and pulls him out as Excellency is tapping. Baker thinks hes won and is stunned to see Royale outside with the ref. Baker goes to the ropes, but Royale quickly pulls him onto the floor and kicks his knee. Royale slides into the ring and sets up a double arm DDT. Excellency punches the midsection and lifts Royale on his shoulders, going for The Crowning. Royale slips off the back, and hits his double underhook DDT, Crown Jeweling. He rolls over Excellency and stands up as Baker takes his head off with a huge chair shot. Royale falls throught the ropes as Baker covers Excellency. 1, 2... 3.
Anderson: And here is your winner and STILL WZCW Mayhem Champion! James Baker!
Connor: What a match by all three competitiors, but in the end Baker was the better man tonight.
Cohen: Royale was robbed. Bigger robbery than the crown jewels being stolen.
Connor: That chair certainly came back to haunt him in the end.
Cohen: That it may have, but the future King for a Day escapes without a loss today, while Baker wins yet again and Excellency returns to the drawing board.
