Ascending 10 (Pre MD 60/AS 35)

1: Hunter Kravinoff (1)

Once more Kravinoff tops the Ascending 10. Why? He showed himself to be a legitimate threat to Ty Burna and also defeated a former World Champion in Titus. However, a good week was tarnished by Big Dave's kidnapping of Kravinoff and, of course the King for a Day case/contract debacle.

2: Barbosa (6)

It could be argued that Barbosa had the best week of anyone else this week, defeating a difficult foe in Scott Hammond, and also securing a match on PPV with Wasabi Toyota. Now, as we head towards Apocalypse, can the ever dangerous Barbosa continue to build momentum?

3: Titus (2)

Titus was eliminated early into the tag team battle royal and was also defeated by the crafty Hunter Kravinoff in a good match on Meltdown. Titus however was a key element in Baez's undoing in both the battle royal and also his match with Wasabi Toyota. Now the pair will clash in a battle at Apocalypse.

4: Austin Reynolds (3)

The "Ratings Winner's" clash with Everest went to a no-contest as Ty Burna revealed he was in fact the one behind Reynolds' girlfriend’s kidnapping. With Reynolds (and the rest of us) duped, we have to wonder if Austin will be in any state to take the World Heavyweight Championship from Ty Burna.

5: Wasabi Toyota (8)

This time last week, we were mourning the loss of one of the greatest tag teams in WZCW history; Brothers in Arms. This week however, we celebrate the beginning of a fantastic singles run for Wasabi Toyota. A win against Baez and a PPV match with Barbosa have placed Toyota in a fantastic position.

6: "Showtime" David Cougar (5)

David Cougar may not be in position for the World Heavyweight Championship following two failed attempts at the gold at the last two PPV's, but he does have a chance to collect the other belt that has alluded him; the Tag Team Championship. However, a loss to Blade on Meltdown saw him fall one spot.

7: Baez (4)

Baez has been taking a tumble down the rankings as of late. He was at one point sat very nicely at the #3 position, but so far he's failed to get that big victory after taking down Gordito. However, at Apocalypse Baez has a chance to settle a score he has with Titus and with that, he could be in line for some movement upwards.

8: Big Dave (9)

Despite not being in action this week, Dave's spot rose by one. Why? Because of his wonderful job of fooling and then kidnapping Hunter Kravinoff. His presence was felt and with the final match in the war between Kravinoff and Dave set in stone, Dave's had a better week than the last few.

9: Constantine (NEW)

With Sam Smith out of action thanks to Constantine, and a dominant win alongside Steven Holmes against two of Mayhem's best, Constantine's stock has begun to rise for the first time in a good while. The real question is, can he continue to rise this week against Wasabi Toyota?

10: Mr. Baller (NEW)

There were many candidates for the final spot on this week’s list. Steven Holmes, King Shabba, Everest, Stan Rogers and Saboteur, but ultimately it was Mr. Baller who seized the spot with yet another "victory" over Steamboat Ricky. One has to wonder if Ricky will finally show and teach young Baller a lesson next time.
