It was a simple code bequeathed to
Eve Taylor by a mysterious migrant of the cold streets, one that the comforting voice in her head kept echoing multiple times as she stared at herself in the bathroom mirror of her hotel room. No matter how many times she repeated these three sentences and despite how spotless Eve kept herself & the lavatory, all she saw was a broken hot mess leering right into her eyes, right into her soul. It had been a long time that Eve saw this side of herself, one she thought would never surface again but after the actions she committed against Lexi Hayes... well, to put it best: Eve was at a loss for words and was left to stew alone in her mind.

Once more, Eve grabbed her expensive eye-liner and began re-applying her make-up, fixing up an already perfect face as she tried to assess why she committed the actions against that poor Southern bell Lexi Hayes. Eve tried to convince herself that Lexi brought that beat-down upon herself as a result of aiding the convoluted organisation known as Young Justice, now officially defunct at the hands of Cerberus. Whilst that may have been partially true, there was something gnawing the back of her mind suggesting other motives were at play. Eve recalled embodying Cerberus-like qualities as she salivated, almost foaming from the mouth after the match as she tried to snap Hayes' arm in half. This innocent, corrupted girl felt the wrath of the Third Head during the aftermath of the war. For what?

It was a lot to process for Eve, causing her to cease the touch-ups on her face and place the beauty products down. Professional models were trained to multi-task whilst applying make-up yet something as simple as thinking threw Eve off her game; skills she learned to do subconsciously were rendered useless by everything in her head. The adoration of the crowd began shifting elsewhere; her inspiring messages & positive influences were being ignored; the ruthless attacks... what was Eve becoming?

No matter how hard Eve tried to forget, she couldn't put the dissipation that was her friendship with Aubrey Sloan after her appearance in aiding Lexi to chase off Eve. It caused all sorts of emotions to rise up inside Eve: she was confused; angry; depressed... all because her best friend decided to side with someone she hardly knew than support her. And after months of silence between the two, why did Aubrey choose that moment to interact with Eve? The moment Eve began to accept everything was over, Aubrey came back into her life if only for a brief moment. It was only natural instinct and shock that Eve ran away from Aubrey but in clear conscience, what emotion would've rose to the surface and took control of Eve? Would it have been anger and knocked out Aubrey as she did Lexi? Would it have been happiness and embraced Aubrey like she was reunited with the only one she loved in her life?

Whatever history wrote, Eve needed to cease dwelling and relish in something special she could definitely seek comfort in: another chance at capturing the Elite X championship from Constantine and completing the circle of success created by Cerberus. It was a timely distraction but it was better than Eve being left alone in her own mind, especially as Flex & Ramparte looked to strengthen their reign as champions almost on their own. A smile crossed her face at the thought of joining her counterparts who were amongst the top competitors in the company, marking her first official crowning achievement in WZCW. And it was an actual accomplishment that Eve was capable of: a standard singles match instead of the terrifying Lethal Lottery scenario.
Believe in yourself.
It wasn't to say that Constantine was comparable to some amateur who couldn't distinguish a camisole from a corset because he is a tough opponent. Eve was no stranger to tough opponents in their attempt to cement their legacies by carrying the prestigious Elite X title to the coveted seventh defense. It was only a couple of months ago that the fresh inexperienced rookie Eve was paired up with the dominant Fallout in a battle of streak supremacy. She threw all she had at Fallout but pulling out all the stops proved useless in that beauty contest. The hot commodity that was Eve Taylor became another victim in the wake of Fallout's destruction. It would seem that Eve would be sharing the catwalk yet again with another determined competitor, not looking for any loss... but neither was the Fabulous One.

Constantine aligned himself amongst the best individuals and dubbed themselves "the Elite" but Eve also knew that Constantine's best qualities derived from his political days: a man who knew how to talk the talk. No matter how many times his brethren would betray him and discard him away, his silver tongue would eventually convince them to put him at their side. An envious attribute indeed but no extensive vocabulary could amount to the importance of walking the walk, something Eve had been brought up to excel. No matter the obstacles, Eve had conquered them all by showing what she could do and it would be no different to her match against Constantine, a contest that was literally between a man who can talk and a woman who can walk.
Believe in yourself.
Eve understood it would be an uphill battle but she welcomed the added degree of difficulty. How else would anyone prove themselves to people if they continuously faced life on easy mode? Eve was ready to immerse herself and become obsessed with the Elite X championship over the next few days to put her mind in a more focussed outlook. She wanted to make the first two heads of Cerberus proud by doing what she does best: strutting her stuff on the catwalk now known as the squared circle. It was time for Eve to finally ascend the roster and become a superstar much like when she became a supermodel, grab what is hers for the taking: the Elite X Championship and...
