With the safety off!!
According to the main page it looks like Tough Enough will return to the USA network. But in order to expand their programming the WWE has pitched a few other ideas as well.

All are reality series, and here are the concepts. The first is "Fandango’s Trouble”, it's a series where the WWE star will try to teach toddlers to dance. The second is a quiz show of sorts “Are You Smarter Than Erick Rowan”. And the last is something called “Hidden McMahon”, starring Vince McMahon himself.

Oy all I can say is fuck me. Something inside makes me believe that Vince has had a part in all of them. Someone put a bullet in him soon.

Fandango loves triangles. And squares. And circles, too!

I do miss Tough Enough, but I don't really see it's importance now that we have NXT doing a pretty good job on the new guys. What, will the winners go to NXT before getting called up? Will we even keep the winner this time? Who knows. Fun fact though- last year's Tough Enough only left behind one superstar currently on the Raw roster. Fucking "Melina vs. Alicia Fox" Ariane aka Cameron. If you think Tough Enough will be about actual talent, think again.

As for the other spoof-sounding WWE shows, I'm going to pretend this is just a hoax done by Cracked or something. Won't believe it until I see it.

I was one of the people who thought that E Network viewers wouldn't care about wrestling women they had never heard of. It appears I was wrong and WWE Divas is a hit. Reality TV is the cheapest tv to produce. If any of their ideas gets far enough to green light a pilot episode, that's cheap enough to do. In this reality tv world in which we live if just one out of a bunch of bad ideas sticks, WWE would be happy.

By the way, assuming this is a serious post, people like dancing and love little entertaining children. Fandango teaching little kids to dance...don't recall any of these dancing shows targeted to little kids. Could be a cross over sleeper.

Oh. My. God. Are you all really so stupid that you don't understand what a joke is?

IT'S A FUKKIN SPOOF ARTICLE ON WWE.COM!!

This is going to be worst. We have already many shows from WWE network. Though, I am not from USA but still I can understand how much these types of shit will haunt you. Anyways, if they want to start any show they should stop a show (Superstars). Otherwise, it is going to be a bloody mess LOL.

This being a spoof article aside, it's not over-the-top spoofy; after the success of Total Divas, the WWE would be stupid not to pursue other possible options involving non-wrestling uses of their talent and production capabilities. The material costs a whole hell of a lot less to produce than shooting live television at a different venue every week, and in the worst case, where you can't find a cable network buyer? It can then become "WWE Network Exclusive Content".

A quiz show featuring Erick Rowan obviously sounds insane (although who knows, out of character the guy could be a Mensa member). Rewind the gimmick clock back a few years, and imagine a quiz show on the WWE Network with Damien Sandow's know-it-all character; that's something which has legs. Now, imagine a clip show with Dean Ambrose narrating camera-phoned fistfights. (Don't laugh, that shit already happens now.)

The point is that the WWE specializes in creating characters which are then used as spokespeople (God help us all). It's a natural extension of what they already do to start producing more reality programming which is less centered, if centered at all, on their professional wrestling product.

It's even less far of a stretch when you consider the success of WWE Films; people love to shit on them around here because the movies are honestly god-fucking-awful, but they very consistently turn a profit, which is freakishly rare in the movie industry. This is like that "Jon Stewart will take over for Brian Williams" story; an entirely believable spoof story that adheres to logic to make it all the more believable.

Only good reality show would be following Vince around before wm for a week to show everyone what he does week of his big show & that we won't get so that rest will suck

Its just the spoofs(in case you arent just trolling :D ). Others involve Uso, Tyson Kid, HHH and Bryan in "Real husbands of WWE", "Good news with Bad News Barett", Rybacks "Feed him more", Lawlers "Kings Court" and HHHs and Stephanies "The Brass Ring". :)

I could be worst Vince could produce the WWE version of Swamp People could you vision what that would be like.

Well, after the success of "Toddlers and Tiaras", "Dance Moms" and "Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo" can you blame Vince for trying to make a show in that vein? All jokes aside, you'd figure someone in Titan Towers would have remembered that Vince once signed a CONVICTED child molester after he released the same guy to serve a two year stretch for molesting a child before coming up with a joke show that, like the ones I mentioned, has been accused of appealing to the pedophile.

Wow talk about people getting their panties in a bunch over friggin nothing. All I did was create a thread about a news article I saw on the main page. Whether it's a spoof article or not I had no idea.

No reason to be calling people stupid over it. Jesus Christ, just scroll by next time.

I want to clarify something: My comments was not meant as an attack on you, and if you took it that way, I apologize. My arrow was aimed at the people in Stamford who were ignorant to WWE's past.

No I realize that. My comments were directed at the few who were getting bent out of shape about the thread subject to begin with.

I saw the story and commented on it simple as. If it was a spoof story then fine, no big deal, nothing to warrant name calling.

So, you overreact, you make a thread, and you believe the satire enough to literally state that Vince McMahon should be shot, but the people who called you stupid are getting their "panties in a bunch?" You're offended that someone called you stupid, but you want Vince murdered for it?

On the other hand, as far as I'm concerned, the more reality TV the better. Eric Young is making his shows and doing quite well I believe. Fishing and extreme thrill seeking and stuff. Stone Cold has Broken Skull Ranch, etc. There's a huge niche for pro-wrestlers to get into reality TV, and reality TV is a cash cow.

I was one of the people who thought that E Network viewers wouldn't care about wrestling women they had never heard of. It appears I was wrong and WWE Divas is a hit.

I was wrong about that, too. I wonder how closely WWE is able to analyze their demographics because If Total Divas is reaching a segment of the population never before touched by pro wrestling, you'd think some of the young girls watching might decide to check out Raw or Smackdown just to see their new idols doin' their thing.

New fans? That would be sweet for WWE, no? In fact, it might be a reason to include more women's wrestling on the main programs, although I don't know that they could attract enough new folks to warrant that.

Alright, first off; The victims of the Jonestown Massacre drank "Flavorade" and not "Kool-ade". I point this out so a metaphor I'm about to use won't be so confusing.

Navi, to be a more content pro-wrestling fan you'll need to just drink the flavorade and accept your fate.

Do you realize how expensive bullets are!? If you wasted a bullet on killing Vince, it would probably inspire fifty more silly reality tv shows. Vince's exponentially stupid ideas are like the mythical hydra, you can't just walk up and slay him to make them stop. Heracles killed the hydra by using it's own poison against it; since we're obviously not in the kind of income bracket where we're able to produce our own useless reality tv porn, we should probably just ignore 90% of what TitanSports pinches off.

Yeah... even though it was a joke article, if real who cares.

Why does it bother you what's on television and what others watch?

I watch maybe 4 shows besides wrestling and couldn't care less what's out there, extension of wwe or not.

Honestly, I'm not sure I would like to see tough enough return. For what it is, it genuinely doesn't give off enough reward to be worth the risk. I'm aware of a few guys and gals who have stuck around for a short period of time after it but it is just too much of a miss to be a hit. Is it entertaining? Somewhat. But I just don't think it is entertaining enough, and at this point I have seen through it. It gives someone a prize that they are literally never going to accomplish. And when you think about how likely it is that they are going to make it, it really doesn't make it in my interests to watch.

That said, I firmly believe that the WWE should concentrate on opening up original content on the WWE Network, rather than looking to expand on the USA Network. There is so much opportunity on the WWE Network that the WWE are missing right now, giving that away seems ludicrous to me anyway.

Yes, it did seem strange to read that after having been told in the months before the Network was launched that virtually everything new in WWE would be aimed toward it. Not that I have anything against something being added to basic cable.

But if any of what they want to add to USA is aimed toward women, let's remember that WWE's audience presently consists mainly of young males, right? If the Total Divas show is designed to attract young women, most of whom had no previous interest in pro wrestling, it might be better to give it to them for free rather than expect them to immediately go out and subscribe to the Network.

Later on, when they're fans, make like "WWE Main Event" and slide the show over to the Network. This is a concept that might apply to any new content.....and it's not a new one.
