Are there any dream matches left in TNA?

I really can't think of too many. I know I would like to see Angle vs RVD and AJ vs Pope. But when I think of the phrase, I think of how they pissed away a lot on TV and never seemed to save them for PPV.

So are there any matches that you would pay to see featuring current TNA talent? I wouldn't mind seeing Pope and Angle have a long(er) match and I think Williams vs Sabin or Shelley could also be awesome. Hell, Styles vs Williams may be even better.

Hmmm let's see. I'm not sure if this has been done but i would really like to see Alex Shelly vs Chris Sabin in a match. They are one of the greatest tagteams in the world and having these two encounter in a friendly type of match would be great for the team. I believe Angle/Joe will always be a dream match no matter how many times we see it. Other than that, we've pretty much seen everyone face eachother. TNA does a very great job of putting together matches that would be considered dream matches.

What is crazy is I was thinking of posting this last night after watching BFG07, but decided not to since I saw my TNA Dream Match of Sting vs. Angle. And a year later I got Sting vs. AJ Styles at Turning Point 2008 and then again at BFG09 It got me thinking and I know these two guys aren't in TNA right now but possibly could be at some point, but the only real dream match I have left for TNA is Motor City Machine Guns vs. The Worlds Greatest Tag Team (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas).

A few i want to see are Joe vs. RVD, Sting vs. Jeff Hardy (Face paint vs Facepaint if you will), AJ vs Flair would be a sick way to end the rivalry, and also Kazarian vs Pope or Anderson because i feel Kaz has the "it" factor. Also just throwing this in there... since they have him... Sabu vs Sting for the hell of it.

Great minds think alike, Numbers. When I read the thread title, my mind immediately went to Elijah and Kurt having an extended,one on one, mat match at a pay per view, without outside interference and without any gimmicks.

Like the title said, dream match.

If I had to mix it up a bit, I would add Doug Williams into the match. Don't know what it is about this Brit, but he has really grown on me. Just wish he had more tv time to wrestle, not hang out with Naitch in some stupid alcohol infused, lockerroom gimmick.

And maybe for comic relief, some match where Lacey Von Erich is fighting over guys and not girls. Just saying.

I would watch Sabu vs Sting lol.. anyways..I wouldn't mind seeing Angle and RVD fight again, it was great in the short rivarly on the fake ecw before kurt jumping to tna. also Anderson vs. RVD would be good too. if TNA did pick up Shelton Benjamin i would like to see him face AJ Styles. Motorcity and Generation ME are great matches too, to bad they didn't have a third team like them.. and why not Amazing Red vs Kurt Angle.. (tna managment apperenty declined the idea) which i would love to see their fighting styles against each other.. just my opinion..

You know, TNA came through on this one already, but I'd like to see Foley vs Abyss again. This time a real hardcore match and have Foley come out as Jack or Mankind.

I don't know if MCMG Vs. The World's Greatest Tag Team would be as good of a match as Beer Money vs TWGTT. Either way, I'd like to see both. And I'd love to see an AMW reunion where they face ANYONE!!

There was two that caught in my mind. I`m not a huge RVD fan, but seing RVD vs Kurt Angle match would be awesome. After BFG, I`m guessing Kurt Angle will win, (because TNA just signed a new contract, why waste money on making Agle loser right?) so we might actually see it!!! And another match would have to be The Pope vs Kurt Angle, I used to hate Pope, but seeing his matches for the first time, I see he`s a great wrestler, though, I think Mr. Anderson is overrated. He`s good on the mic, but he sucks in the ring. I was disapointed seeing Pope lose. I was hoping he`d be at BFG lol. One more I would have to say is Samoa Joe vs Desmond Wolfe, I`d love to see that.

This is going to sound off the wall, but if i can use 2 free agents to come into TNA for a dream match....

Something about Beer Money vs Bradshaw and Ron Simmons APA that intrigues me. They drink, they take money to protect or beat people down for you. Only Beer Money is a little more intelligent than APA. Like i said, its off the wall, its my dream match, but for some reason I would really like to see it...

Sting Flair. I mean come on. Yeah it isn't going to be a classic like their older brawls. But the nostalgia feeling it would come with would be the only thing that would make me give tna any of my money.

I would also really like to see an old fashion big guy match between Nash and Abyss. Slow paces, similar to his match against Taker WM12. I think it would be an excellent setup to a fast pace match. Slow matches can still be intense.

Well, since the prevailing evidence suggests that Matt Hardy is looking for his release from WWE, there remains the possibility that the Hardy brothers might reunite in TNA, and contend for the TNA Tag Team Championship. This creates the potential for a pair of dream matches, for fans of tag team wrestling. The Hardys against either Beer Money or the Motor City Machine Guns could create a lot of attention for TNA, if both of the Hardys are motivated to give their all in the Impact Zone.

But, of all the "Dream Matches" that people would want to see, that is the only one that I see having even the slightest likelyhood of actually occuring.

I think the term dream match gets thrown around a little bit too much. To me there are only two dream matches left in all of wrestling and I have large doubts about either ever occurring (hogan-austin and sting-taker). There can be plenty of I would really like to see that matches left though. To pick some already mentioned I liked, Sting-Jeff hardy, a Sting-Flair nostalgia showdown, RVD-Angle would likely be a strong wrestling match. I think I'd like to see Angle and Flair have an I quit match. I'd like to see Angle and Joe have another match. RVD-Jeff hardy would be great in front of the right crowd.

These may not be Dream Matches but their are some that I would really like to see. RVD vs Angle I think that this could be a really good match. Angle vs Flair two of the best of all-time could be really good. Wolfe vs Styles I think this would be an excellent match to see. Their are many others I would like to see but these would be my top three matches I would like to see.

well with all the tlk of matt hardy leaving wwe and possibly heading tto tna, we could see the reunion of the hardy boyz and tht would be soooooooo awesome!!!!!!!!!! can u imagine a triangle ladder match between the hardy boyz, the motorcity machineguns and team 3D or even beer money inc??? tht would be one hell of a good match.

and for a dream main event match i would love to see a huge fued between Rhino and RVD, both men can be very useable and can wrestle all kinds of matches. id love to see rhino back in the main event spotlight.

i also rekon another fued between kurt angle and jeff jarrett would be awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would have to agree and expand upon a previous poster saying that an AMW reunion vs maybe Haas & Benjamin or AMW vs MCMG would be pretty nice, especially inside the cage.

TNA just doesn't have many dream matches left, they put them all on TV thus nobody wanting to buy the PPV cause they've seen a variable of the match already

Wolfe vs. Styles would be great to see as some have pointed out. I guess you could say RVD vs. Kurt Angle, but I don't know if that is a "dream match". I'm pretty sure these 2 have faced against each other in WWE, but I'm not positive. I would love to see Haas and Benjamin be brought in to fight the Guns or Beer Money. Mickie James vs. Awesome Kong would be a decent match up too. It all depends on what new talent comes in though since we have seen pretty much everything at this point.

Jeff Hardy vs Kurt Angle with a clean winner would be nice.

But from nostalgia's standpoint, and since it hasnt happened in TNA, an "I Quit" match between sting and Ric Flair. Perhaps the two biggest stars of their generation going at it one last time.

There's a big difference between having a dream match with proper build as opposed to no build. Think about the main event of WM 17. Austin and The Rock. It was HUGE. But the match-up in general had been done to death by then. Yet it still had that "dream match" build and feel to it. Just because they've already wrestled before on a smaller platform it doesn't mean that big match feel can be brought in. You can't deny the build for Take/HBK was better in 2009 than it was in 1997. Which was the bigger match? Yup. TNA has given us teasers to many possibilities the past few months. You know that if they could hook you with a 5 minute iMPACT! match, a PPV version with bigger build can go a lot further.

As for me, I would love to see Christopher Daniels and Kurt Angle. They had a great match on iMPACT! once. I'd love to see it on PPV.

Brian Kendrick is my favorite wrestler working today, so obviously there are plenty of matches I would still like to see from him.

Kendrick vs. Styles was the ultimate match I wanted to see most from him once he signed with TNA, which of course we got to see last week on Impact, and while that was pretty damn good considering the time constraints, I know they could put on a MOTY candidate with 20 minutes or so to work with. So that's something I would still love to see.

And of course Kendrick in competitive bouts against guys like Samoa Joe, Angle, Jeff Hardy, RVD, Anderson, etc. are all matches I would love to see. Hell, I think Kendrick could have great matches against wrestlers like Abyss and Foley, too. Kendrick is just the kind of talent who can do it all in the ring, and I'm ready to see him in there competing against the top talent in the company.

If Hulk ever is healthy enough to wrestle again Id like to see a
Face Hulk Hogan vs Heel Jeff Jarrett. They have un finished buisiness in WCW when Jarrett lied down for him at Bash at the Beach. Also Jarrett gave him a guitar shot in a press conference in 03 I believe. It looked like they were going to feud earlier this year but it never came about.
