AON-WorldTitle.jpg

WZCW's top forces collide to determine the true world champion, with several of these men having been screwed out of a title shot or win by several others. One man will stand as the true world champion after this six man elimination match.

This thread is to be used by those in this match only.

Deadline is Monday 21st September July 2009 at 23:59EST

*The scene opens in Carmen’s apartment and it’s the morning after meltdown. Carmen is semi-conscious on the couch watching Spongebob squarepants while Shaytan & Angelica sit in separate armchairs look at the Russian with an expression of disappointment on their faces*

Angelica: It could be worse…

Shaytan: How?

Angelica: Ummm… It could be raining

Carmen: We’re inside… It makes no difference

Angelica: Oh

*Shaytan gets up from her seat and walks in to the kitchen and opens up the fridge, she then helps herself to a banana and walks back in to the lounge*

Shaytan: You shouldn’t leave bananas in the fridge… they go black… they’re an ambient fruit

Angelica: Like plums?

Carmen: Why are we talking about fruit?

Shaytan: Because we’re trying to avoid the elephant in the room

Carmen: There is no elephant… just a loser

Shaytan: Yeah well we all know whose fault that is.

Carmen: I do not understand… I have come close to winning each week but I keep losing… it’s like I’m missing something

Shaytan: Tell me about it… Everest has beat you so many times I’m surprised you’re not calling him Dad

Carmen: But it’s not just Everest… I lose against everyone at the moment… I can’t remember the last time I won a match

Angelica: Your last win was April 20th against Red Mark at WZCW unscripted

Carmen: So I have not won match since 5 months!!!

Shaytan: You’re upset… I’m still wondering how the hell you’re in a title match at all or nothing

Carmen: I have been through bad times in 5 months

Shaytan: Yeah and so have the rest of the world… heck there is a recession going on and people are losing their jobs everywhere

Carmen: You’re right

Angelica: Sorry?

Carmen: I have not won match in 5 months, I am not working so at All or Nothing, for me it will be all or nothing… If I lose match at pay per view… I will resign from WZCW

Angelica: WHAT?!

Shaytan: I have to agree with the goody two shoes here… what are you thinking?

Carmen: I’ve decided… on my own which is strange! But I have decided…. All or Nothing will be exactly what I fight for. If I win…. I become world champion, if I lose… I will hand in my resignation

Angelica: We best get you to the gym…

*Scene fades*

*Some Time later*

*A car pulls up outside Silvers gym and Carmen climbs out of the he walks toward the building where he is met at the door by WZCW interviewer Stacy Madison*

Stacy: Carmen Bratchny… I don’t think I’ve had the pleasure

Shaytan: Oh the blonde backstage interviewer… Someone call captain cliché

*Stacy pretends she does not hear Carmen’s mumble under his breathe*

Stacy: So... Carmen locals say you haven’t been to Silvers in a while… why is that?

Carmen: Umm… I have been busy training my mind… when you train mind, your body will follow

Stacy: So this has nothing to do with the death of your manager a few months ago

Carmen: Ummm… No

Stacy: How do you feel going in to a match against 5 other men, one of which you do not know… Do you feel you’re there just to make up the numbers?

Carmen: This is my third shot at world title, I have come whisker away from winning it on other occasions, I am former elite X champion… I am the man for world title glory

Stacy: With all that said, surely you feel slightly worried with every single one of your opponents having held a victory against you

Carmen: That is not true; I do not know one of my opponents and Ste-

Stacy: *Interrupting* But given the opportunity Ricky would probably beat you… What do you have that will inspire you to actually go out there at All or Nothing and give this match 100%

Carmen: Because for this match… it is all or nothing, if I lose… I plan to resign

*There is a slight pause*

Stacy: Resign… but…. You do know with you’re form your chances of winning this match are slim to none

*Carmen is slightly taken aback by the negativity*

Carmen: Well… Umm

Stacy: I think I’m going to leave this interview right now Bratchny… I think you need to train

*The scene faces with Carmen Bratchny entering the gym as a bemused Stacy Madison looks on*

Titus is shown backstage with his head peaking out from behind the corner. He puts his finger to his lips to say shhhh.

Titus: He's right over there!

He points over and the camera moves around to see Leon Kensworth reading national enquirer whilst sitting on some boxes.

The camera pans back to Titus, who is dressed in his usual attire with the Elite X title over his shoulder and is holding a microphone.

Titus sneaks along and puts the microphone in Leon's hand

Leon:What the hell are you doing Titus?

Titus: I'm glad you asked that question, Leon, this is a Titus exclusive, with you Leon Kensworth!

Leon: But I'm reading this fine piece of news!

Titus grabs the newspaper and throws it over his head.

Leon: What the...Why did you do that?!

Titus: It's simple, as the news went flying over your head, sow ill the news of my triumphant win go around the globe.

Leon: That doesn't even make sense!

Titus: Dammit Leon you're interviewing someone who is looking to make WZCW history, if you can't keep focused, I'll get someone else to do it.

Leon: Like who?

At that point Stacey Madison comes walking past.

Titus: Stacey! How's it going? What you up to?

Stacey: Well I was just going for some lunch

Titus: Lunch? How about you interview me first?

Stacey: Can't HE do it?

The camera points at Leon.

Titus leans forward towards Stacey and whispers in her ear

Titus: He asks the same questions every week, he doesn't know what's going on SHHH!

Stacey: So what you're saying is you want me to interview you because I'm a better announcer?

Titus: Stacey I want you to ask me anything you want. I want a bit of a challenge, not simple questions, the ones that get to the root of who I am.

Stacey: OK I'll do that, but you buy me lunch.

Titus: Sure thing!

Stacey: OK I'm going to start off and ask about who the real Titus is, we've seen you as an actor, we saw good guy Titus here in WZCW, there was a bad guy Titus for a few weeks, then you were a superhero, and now you're some sort of hybrid, Who is the real Titus?

Titus: That is one great question, the real Titus is the guy you see before you right now, as seen with Leon just before, I do have a mischievous side but I also am quite a serious guy, as was seen when I was fighting Lars to defend my gold.

Stacey:That seemed like it was a hard time for you.

Titus: Not for you though Miss Madison, it got you this job.

Stacey: That it did, but you're dodging answers on the second question!

Titus: Haha OK. Yes it was a hard time for me, the thing with Leon is I've always seen something in him, like he could make it big, I took him under my wing so to speak, then he gets kidnapped. When a friend of yours is kidnapped it's impossible for you to keep a level head, your emotions are haywire and then I found him.

Stacey: And he betrayed you.

Titus: He did, but as I have said time and time again, I don't blame him, his mind was brain washed by Lars and now he's all sorted again. I can now play tricks on him again, which is pretty funny.

Stacey: Playing tricks on Leon may be funny, the thought of getting in the ring with both Lars Reidar and Carmen Bratchny once again is not.

Titus: No, you're right there, it's a concept that at one time would have scared me to hell. It's ironic though, my first Elite X title shot had both these men in it as well as Drake Callahan. Who's the only one who holds a title right now? *Titus taps his Elite X title* that would be me. But no way am I underestimating these men. I found out that against Drake last week, Lars was actually injured and wasn't even cleared to fight, but that son of a gun went for it and he may have not won against Callahan, but he certainly did not lose against him. That takes major guts to do that, he fought the match even though management screwed up and he wasn't even meant to be there! Then you have Carmen, I was the last person he beat, it's going to be no easy walk for me, his career is on the line here from what I heard on the streets. Both men are phenomenal in the ring, and they sure are my favourites.

Stacey: How can two men be your favourites when you have a guy you know nothing about, the former champion and the current champion?

Titus: The mystery competitor doesn't bother me, I have gone through my brain as to who it is and some things say yeah I could take that guy down, then I think of someone else and then I say no I couldn't. Beat them. It's all about the focus. Then we have Steamboat Ricky, he's one of my better mates in WZCW up there with the great up and comer Trevor Steel, Ricky has something about him. He has a rich history, he brought us the Mayhem title and won the WZCW Heavyweight championship. Whilst he's not the current holder, that is damn impressive to say the least. Even though we've not seen Ricky at his best the past few weeks, we always know he can pull it out on the major stage!

Stacey: So that leaves us one man, you once said your biggest regret was aligning with Dynasty, to do that you cost one man the WZCW Heavyweight Championship. This man was a friend before hand, you aligned with him a few times as Red Mask and yet have kept apart largely since your unmasking. How do you feel against Everest?

Titus: Haha if you put it that way it makes me sound like a silly boy! Everest, what can I say? I mucked up big style with the Dynasty thing, he beat me in a match after that and I was sent on my way. I described it once before as karma, I stopped Everest winning the belt and I screwed one of my best friends over. This in turn happened when Leon did the same to me and now Everest is the top guy in this company. It seems to me that the wrongs I did have been made right and that leads one thing.

Stacey: What would that be?

Titus: Well you could say five things, five people are in that ring, five people between me and my childhood goal. Four Oscars mean nothing in this day and age, but to be champion of the world, that would be something. To be an Elite champion is a good thing, to be a world champion is something else. To be there though and hear the crowd chanting my name, like they want me to win the big one. That is something. Come on Stacey, lets get you some lunch.

A grey moor is the scene, fog rolling around the outcrops of jagged rocks littered amongst the heather, the moon barely visible through the dense cloud of fog. A lone, hooded figure can be seen standing on top of one of the craggy rock formations staring into the distance.

A voice can be heard saying ‘I come here to remember... Close your eyes...

A flashback starts:

Vengeance walking down the ramp, hitting the Judge Jury and Executioner and picking up a win in his debut match.
Kicking through the Perspex to enter the KFAD match, eliminating Murfish
Leaving Daniel Stokes unconscious in the ring, barely moving
Demolishing Ricky to steal back the KFAD shot

The mood changes, with Ricky pinning Vengeance for one, Bratchny on two and Everest on three, as the ref calls for the bell, with a shot of all three men’s arms raised in victory.
This is followed by Titus dropping to the floor seconds before Lars Reidar and raising the Elite X belt in victory.

The scene cuts back to the moor, as Reidar is standing on the moor his eyes closed, in meditation.

Lars: This is the one place I can be alone and reflect on life, my shortcomings and acheivements. Come, it is time to go home.

He mounts a large black stallion and rides off, leaving the camera watching him. A large house looms in the distance.

wuthering4w.jpg

As the scene opens again, the camera opens in the front door. The cameraman walks in and there is a chair sat in front of the fireplace with Lars sitting in it.

Lars: We have seen the past, the failures in my life, the small triumphs, now we move into the here and now.

I sit facing the biggest moment of my life. After many 'nearlys', I finally have my shot at the WZCW Heavyweight Title. Everest denied me my previous chance and has yet to gain the testicles to challenge me to a match of his own accord, and as such, I had to take matters into my own hands.

Now, before you come out and spout your usually spiel about this being your world, ask Ricky just how it felt when I got a second chance at something that was taken from me.

Sure, he won King for a Day, but the fact is that I TOOK what he won from me and tortured him by his knowledge that he wasn't good enough to deserve the belt, something he proved further soon after.

Titus...you somehow managed to touch the floor first and, in doing so managed to drag your sorry ass to some level of respectablity. You were, are and will never be anything compared to me. I have destroyed you on so many occasions that it stopped being fun.

And now, tell me Carmen... did it hurt to know that the one person who ever gave a damn about you died, and you didn't even show him the respect to visit him before he past on. Does it gall you to know that I was there just before he died. Well Carmen, you are no longer the force you were when you entered the company, when you stole the Elite X title from me.

That leaves only one man standing in my way. No-one knows who, whether it is the return of Manzo, whether it is someone completely new, or whether Chuck Myles himself has decided to finally become a man and compete. Either way, I have not made it this far fearing the unknown, so Chuck

stands and looks into the camera
Lars: You snivelling little man, send whoever you want, you won't succeed in bringing the Title under your control.

Enough, follow.

He runs up the wooden stairs and enters the first room on the left. The camera follows, and finds Lars lying on a bed in a room. All around are scribbles on the wall of Lars Reidar, WZCW champion. On the wall is a portrait of the Heavyweight title. Something appears to have come over Reidar, as he is lying, mumbling to himself, his eyes flickering.

Lars: Pain...the pain she inflicted, it will be repaid in full. Once I get it, it shall be repaid

Suddenly he picks up a book and throws it through the window.
Lars: Get out of my home!

*Can opening sound*

Steamboat Ricky and El Guerrero sit at a table with two six packs of non-alcoholic grog in the middle. Each has a determined look on his face.

Yarrrrr...ye who can hold his liquor be the winner!

Ummm...Essa...this is non-alcoholic grog, homes.

Yarrrr...and the strongest brew in category!!!

Whatever homes, let's get it done. I have no idea how this is going to help you win the world title.

Yarrrr...I be in a six-pack challenge! What better way to prepare for it than to have me own six-pack challenge!

Ricky downs his six pack and stands up, completely unphased by the drink. El Guerrero drinks his six pack, and his face falls to the table. Ricky gets up, picks up the can o grog and puts it close to the camera. The label reads, "May have drowsy effect on the undead."

*Smirk*

Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrockabye el guerrero on the trrrrrreee top, when the wind blows the cradle will...errrrrrrrr....rock! Thanks for helping me get ready to win back me belt. I gotta go rest up for the match now, I be seein you in the morning. Yarrrrr!

Ricky puts a blanket on El Guerrero and tucks him in at the table. Ricky then goes and leaves the room and the lights go out. Ricky is heard walking upstairs, then a door is shut. A few seconds go by, and whispers are heard...then a door downstairs opens, and two shadowy figures enter. All of a sudden, the table is set ablaze and the two shadowy figures double-chokeslam El Guerrero through the flaming table.

*CRASH*

Steamboat Ricky is heard moving upstairs. The shadowy figures here this, and they quickly exit the scene. Ricky turns the lights on, grabs a fire extinguisher, and puts out the flames. Ricky consoles El Guerrero, and then proceeds to stand up. He looks around, and out of the corner of his eye, he sees 5 playing cards laying on the floor: 3 aces and two kings.

FADE

The scene opens with an All or Nothing Logo flashing on the screen. A quick montage of the Main Event WZCW World Championship match is shown. Finally the screen stops with Everest standing tall, Championship belt raised high over his head. That’s the last image we see until suddenly the shot fades out and an exterior shot of the Baseball Hall of Fame fades in. The camera slowly pans the building as it makes it’s way to the doorway. In the background we hear the voice of WZCW’s Current World Champion: Everest.

Everest: The World’s greatest athletes, a sport’s most memorable personalities. The game’s greatest moments! Where would you go to find these things? Well tonight we’re going to the greatest sports greatest and grandest place. Tonight though, we’re not going to browse, we aren’t going to see how big sluggers can get before they blow. Nope tonight welcome to your very own tour of the Baseball Hall of Fame, Everest style.

With that the camera fades into an interior shot and now Everest is standing inside the Hall. He’s got on a nice pair of khakis, one of his custom made $300 shirts and shoes to match. His Rolex watch shines in the artificial light as does the WZCW Championship that is draped across his left shoulder. Behind him is a wall size photo of Babe Ruth.

EVEREST: Let’s get to the point shall we. As each an every living breathing person of any value knows: All or Nothing is coming up. And even though some people might actually try and get you to believe they really are looking forward to that Zander Young vs. Frankie Smith match, everyone, and I mean EVERYONE is waiting for the main event.

World Title on the line, The Champion, yours truly against that Hollywood washout Titus, Steamboat Ricky, that Russian muscleman Bratchney, some fellow that Myles has deemed worthy: Whether it be a buffet hunting Japanese superstar or some washed up has been who might try to cart a snake to the ring in a bag. Then there’s the man who started this whole thing--Lars Reider. It’s the match of the year! And I’m standing here to tell you -- it’s going to end the same way the others have ended -- With me, EVEREST, standing tall, holding MY World Title over my head victorious.
[/LIST]

With that some little kid comes running into the picture screaming some incoherent babble, after a few seconds he calms down enough to ask Everest a question?

CHILD: Everest, sir could I have your autograph?

EVEREST: Ah, sure what the hell, it’s good to see some of today’s youth being raised the right way.

As Everest signs the kid asks him one more question

CHILD: So Everest I liked you better when you were the good guy, why’d you have to start cheating. My daddy says cheaters never win and winners never chea…

EVEREST: Your daddy hasn’t won a thing in his life, now get lost kid.

With that the kid takes off out of camera shot.

EVEREST: Now you must be wondering why we are standing here in the shrine of America’s Pastime.
Well I’m here to prove a point. You see that kid isn’t the first person to ask me why I “switched sides’. I’m here at Baseball’s Mecca to get a point across. You see behind me is a photo of arguably baseball’s most influential baseball player ever--Babe Ruth. You know what people tend to forget about the Babe, he was a drunk womanizer. But was he a villain? Hell no he was deemed not only a hero, he was a savior. Look over here -- Here we have one of baseball’s greatest hitters ever -- Ty Cobb! This man gambled on baseball, spiked opposing fielders routinely and played the game so violently and without remorse he was almost banned from the game! Was he deemed a villain? By some, yes, but look he’s still enshrined in the holy grail of his sport. He’s still seen as one of the greatest baseball players of all time.

Everest moves to his right, and around a corner before coming to a stop again.

EVEREST: Ah here’s a great example -- Gaylord Perry -- World Class pitcher, world class cheater! Not only did the man scuff a baseball more ways than Steamboat Ricky can swab a deck, he ADMITTED it in a book later on and revealed how he did it. Was he a villain? Was he the bad guy? No! He was honored for his efforts, as tainted as they were. Do you see my point?

From the day I set foot in WZCW I promised that I’d be the best this Podunk little federation had ever had. I demanded excellence from myself and I still give that each and every time I step between those ropes. I not only swore I’d win the World Title, I delivered on that promise. TWICE.

From the day I started here, I told the fans that I was the best and that I would be the best. And I’ve delivered on that. I’ve done anything I’ve needed to that would keep me at the top. You see just like those people we just talked about, I’ve been the Pinnacle of Perfection through thick and thin, but because I used a chair here, or blasted some schmuck in the back of the head with a sledgehammer I get deemed the villain. I get bombarded with “Why did you do it?” or “How could you?” Well I’m here to tell you I didn’t do anything more than what I promised.

And I’m telling you once again, no I’m promising you once again that come All or Nothing 1 man, 2, 3, 4 it doesn’t matter. It just doesn’t matter. Because at the end of the night the one who walks in Champion, is going to walk out the Champion.

I’m not going to lie to anyone, try to lead anyone on…this match is going to be brutal. I mean look at what will be standing in that ring.

Titus? He may not have made it in Hollywood, but he does know his way around a ring. I heard him talking earlier about the mistakes he made. About how he turned his back on me when I trusted him the most. Well Titus: don’t worry your pretty little head about hunting for forgiveness. Your betrayal was just a small learning process. It taught me how things ran around here. It showed me that if I wanted to get what destiny had waiting for me then I had to get a little rough around the edges. At All or Nothing I just hope those rough edges don’t draw to much blood old friend.

Steamboat Ricky? Well he may not be making Jack Sparrow or Barbosa shake in their boots but ole scally-wag and I have some history as well. We’ve teamed in the past, we’ve fought many times over and honestly that damn parrot has gotten on my nerves more times than Becky Serra, but I can’t discount what Ricky has taught me either. You see Ricky without you there wouldn’t have been a Mayhem title for me to hold! I’ve never been one for hardcore wrestling but helped me prove to myself I can do it when need be and well without you I wouldn’t have this here title that I possess right now. Now at All or Nothing I just hope I don’t mop the mat with ALL your dreams.

Oh man who else? Carmen Bratchney? What can I say Carmen? We’ve fought and fought and each and every time you’ve been put where you belong, beneath me. No lie though those battles were brutal. The strength that behemoth brings is unmatched. Too bad after All or Nothing he still won’t be using that strength to hoist any titles. After All or Nothing people aren’t going to be wondering when you’ll win a match, no they’ll be asking themselves “Where in the World is Carmen…….Bratchney?”

Then there’s Lars Reider. Vengeance. Monster? Crazy? Kidnapper? So many names so little championships. It doesn’t matter what you go by anymore. You know what they say a Wrestler by any other name is still a wanna-be. You’ve been on my tail ever since you started big man. You’ve always been a step behind, just off the radar when it mattered. I mean come on, your big claim to fame is kidnapping Leon? Leon? Damn I mean if you’re going kidnap a reporter at least go after some with some value. Stacy? Becky? You know someone you can take to dinner. We’ve met in the ring a few times and quite honestly if you hadn’t stuck your nose into my affairs I wouldn’t even be worrying about this match but you did and like I said before I’m happy to oblige. You wanna be the big bad Wolf of the WZCW, running rough shot over anyone and trying to get whatever you want. That’s cool but at All or Nothing I won’t be the hunted like you think, oh no, I’m going to be hunting as much as anyone else and boy: you are in the crosshairs.

And then there’s Chuckie Myles’ little experiment. Come on Chuckie, we’ve been through this song and dance before. We did this in Japan as well. It didn’t work out so well there either. I’m not going to act like I know who you’re bringing in, I’m also not going to act like I don’t care. I know your options Myles, I know who you have in your little black book. Bring them in Chuck. Go ahead and promise them wine and roses and titles and woman. It won’t be my problem when they don’t get what you promise them. I will warn you Myles, whoever it is you bring in, make sure you can control them, I’d hate to see what happens when they realize you sold them empty promises.

Fact is at All or Nothing, these 5 men are going to come after MY title. They are going to come hard and fast, and they are going to find out that Everest isn’t backing down. And Everest doesn’t care if he’s not the goody two-shoes everyone remembers or liked. All that Everest cares about is that he is leaving the same way he entered. WZCW WORLD CHAMPION!

And that……..IS SOMETHING YOU CAN TAKE TO THE BANK!

With that the scene slowly fades out to black as we see Everest turn from the camera and walk away
