Anyone else think that Beth Phoenix is most well rounded diva?

Beth Phoenix is quite a physical specimen of a female wrestler. Full powerhouse moveset. Technically sound enough to make most of the other divas look worse than they already do. And I find her to be incredibly, yet strangely, attractive.

Basically, not seeing this thread, I wanted to start up a discussion of whether other people find her to be the most well rounded diva in terms of physical dominance, wrestling talent, and physical attractiveness.

To me, it's easy to say that the Divas like Maryse, Kelly Kelly, and Melina are hot. But to me, Beth Phoenix is as sexy as any of them. She's gorgeous, and can beat the shit out of you.

She's a physical specimen who probably looks great naked. She's the total package in my book. As far as looks go, she's second behind Kelly Kelly simply because Kelly Kelly's a 10. Beth's a 9.5...only because her arms are more than likely bigger or as big as mine.

She's a very versatile wrestler and would fit in any era. Be it during the GLOW wrestling days or the days of Madusa/Alundra Blayze and she'd give Awesome Kong a helluva fight. Talk about a rivalry. Kong v/s Phoenix. I'd love to see a body slam from Phoenix to Kong. I'd mark out. Then get an erection. What?

If by most well rounded, you mean she is the ONLY one since the other Divas wouldn't know what strength training WAS unless you forced them to watch a DVD.... then yes.

Beth is the rare Diva that doesn't just look like another Maxim centerfold with little else but a cheap elbow to the face and some random rolling pin + high risk combo thrown in for flavor.

At the risk of being yelled at... I think I speak for a lot of people when I say "Well... no shit."

I mean tell us something we don't know. I'm definately not degrading the orginial poster... but it's just a topic that reads kinda like "The Undertaker will make a great HOF candidate." Well... fuggin' duh.

The Glamazon is the total package. She actually has the physique of a "wrestler." She is pretty good with the stick, and I don't know one straight guy that wouldn't let her throw them around a little bit...me included. Don't get me wrong... I LOVE looking at Maria, Kelly Kelly, Maryse, etc... but they don't have the "in-ring ability" that Beth does. They rely too much on their looks, silly little gimmick moves like cartwheels and whatnot. Beth is the total package and it doesn't take much brilliance to see it.

If you wanna ask who's the better athlete, it's hands down Gail Kim...If you ask me who's the strongest, i'd say Beth Phoenix...But if you ask me who the best wrestler is, i'm torn between Mickie James and Melina.

I rarely EVER comment on diva posts but I think Melina rarely gets credited with her inring talent...Ever since Trish Stratus and Lita left, WWE has wanted to find the next Trish and the next Lita...It hasn't really helped the division any, but they've tried nonetheless... And I think the closest we've come to Trish Stratus and Lita is Melina and Mickie James.

Melina and Trish started off very similar...Both came in as managers of heel tag teams(T & A, MNM), both saw very little ring action early on and were mainly used as distractions... Then gradually, after their respective tag teams broke up, they went with the preceived "shining star" of the group(Trish with Test, Melina with Nitro)..Eventually they started competing more and more until eventually they broke away from their male counterparts and in to Singles competition..The only difference is, Trish went in to Singles competition as a face, won the Womens Title, and then later in her career, turned heel and had another good run as Womens Champion... Melina started out as a heel, won the Womens Title, and then transitioned to a face and is having another run with the Title...I think Trish can work as a heel or face whereas I like Melina better as a heel HOWEVER I don't mind her as a face either aslong as she does that entrance ...

But anyway, Melina I feel is a better WRESTLER than Beth Phoenix...While I feel Phoenix may indeed be the total package, I just think Melina's more entertaining and a slightly better Wrestler than Phoenix.

I agree with all the little bit you guys are tossing out. I am a big fan of both Melina and Mickie James as well as Beth. And yes, there are the divas that excel in one area more than Beth herself, such as Mickie and Melina in terms of wrestling, but again, yes, Beth is the total package.

And not to take anything away from the two or three people that mentioned Gail Kim, I've been a fan of her whenever she was around when I watch. I gravitate toward WWE more than TNA but did have a short stint where I was interested in them and Gail was great in TNA all the way til the end. I'll give credit where credit is due and say that Gail is definitely up there but that Beth is still my preference.

I gotta agree with this one. Beth Phoenix is basically what Chyna would be if Chyna were blonde and hotter than hell.

Beth is great to watch in the ring. SHe has the mat skills, decent on a mic, and is pretty damn hot. Now, as far as the most athletic or the best divas that actually have some wrestling ability, then it's gonna have to be Gail Kim, Beth Phoenix, Kelly Kelly, Mickie James, Natalya (though you hardly see her in the ring anymore) and Melina. I've got no problem looking at Maryse, Maria or whoever but lets face it, their skills in the ring stink. Maryse hasn't impressed me in the ring and I'm a little weary of Michelle McCool. Maria is hot and so is Eve but really, are they any good in the ring?

By the way, I think Awesome Kong vs. Beth Phoenix would be awesome. THat would be the mother of all women fights.

i actully dont mind beth, but completly dissagree ive seen so many botches from beth, and i dont realy get entertained by her either, she has a nice face but lets face it, most of guys like to be in control when in bed with beth that would clearly not be the case, now for witch diva i belive is the best ide have to say melina and taylor wilde even tho i hate her personality and attempts at looking cool weirdly she's good in the ring, michelle mccool is also good in the ring but i just cant stand listening to her, dont mind gail kim but i trully was never a fan of hers

No. For one, while some people might be attracted to her, she's not the most attractive woman in the company. I don't think she's unattractive, but she's certainly masculine.

Also she only started to show a personality when she was with Santino. I'm yet to see a good promo off her.

Although I do think she's the best WWE has at the moment.

Beth Phoenix is the best diva out there today, She has the strenght she has the sexy look and she has a sweet voice lol. But she can beat the hell out of you and never let you forget it, when she first came to wwe she was so dominent. I say she deserves the title. These other divas are really bad wrestlers, it's the ones who wrestle and not slap fight.. Maryse is good but beth is way better and kelly kelly just sucks.. met her in real life she is not all hot without 100 pounds of makeup

Beth is slightly over-rated IMO, she is sloppy in the ring a lot of times and hasn't had what you would call any memorable matches (at least that I can think of right now).

I don't think she's the most well rounded diva, the likes of Melina & Mickie are better all around performers IMO, they can get over as a babyface or a heel even without much of a push. Beth was pushed non-stop for a year as a dominant womans champion before she started getting any type of reaction, and I think that was mostly due to being associated with Santino.

I heard they're gonna turn her babyface, I really don't see her getting over as a face, maybe for a few weeks if she beats up Santino/Santina, but then I think the crowd won't react to her, she can't cut a promo.

I would definitely agree she's an above average worker by WWE women standards, but I honestly find her boring most of the time.

The way I see Beth, is that she is like a girl who is beautiful but she could also kick my ass. I saw a video of her pre-wrestlemania and she was gorgeous. She was standing next to Michelle McCool and even then she was nice.

I like Beth at the moment, she is technically gifted and for some reason I am enjoying the storyline with Santino/a.

Put another way. I wouldn't mind taking Beth to a club on a night out because I know if guys were hitting on her she would whoop there ass herself and I wouldn't have to.

No doubt Beth is talented and prob the best of the Divas imo. I used to think she had it all but lacked personality though since pairing up with Santino that has all changed and now she is starting to show more charisma. Now she has it all imo and will only get better...though with some of the women in WWE it wouldn't exactly be hard for someone of Beth's talents to be the most well rounded diva....

Beth is, by far, my favorite of the divas. She looks like a million bucks, combining a dominant physique with a feminine sexiness. Most divas segments tend to only get passively watched by me, but I tune in when the Glamazon is on.

That being said, I wouldn't call her the most well rounded. She is one of the few divas that can actually wrestle, that's for sure, but I would say that both Mickie James and Melina are better in that regard. She is at best "decent" on the mic, but then again most of the divas are no better.

I would love to see her split from Santino, as I find that she could be much better used in a non-comedic role. Definitely keep her heel though. Her dominant style is better suited to a monster heel role. I'd like to see her used in a heel stable kind of the way Chyna was used in DX. Make her dominant enough that even though she won't wrestle men, she can still interfere in matches and come off as a viable threat.

Who else do you know of that is in the top tier for all of the following: strength, beauty, in ring ability, and on the mic?

She's got it all. Is she the absolute best at any one of those things? Not necessarily, but she's in the top tier in ALL of them.

To be honest I believe Beth Phoenix has a great look an nothing more. Her work is good depending on who she is with. Look at her best matches they have all been with either Mickie James and Melina (Most notably the I Quit match where Melina made Beth look like a killer). The way they have packaged her is great, but her mic skills are stale, her in ring work is solid. However, I think she needs to lay of the Gas so she can look less manly. Beth Phoenix is the Best diva heel on the roster, but best overall worker is a long shot in my view. I believe Mickie James to be the best overall worker on the current roster.

To compare beth to the likes of mickie and melina is not fair... to mickie and melina! NONE of the divas (and i HATE that word) can match beth for her IN RING WORK. the only one who could do it is natalya. but while nattie was trained in the infamous hart dungeon, beth was winning championships on her high school MENS WRESTLING TEAM.. the ONLY female champion in her school's history.

as for her looking manly?? what the hell are you looking at? CHYNA was way more masculine than beth.. and beth NEVER touched steroids whle chyna did. beth's "masculine appearance" is due to her phenomenal strength.. and something she takes very seriously.. her weight training.

and you cant compare gail kim to beth either. true gail is a submission specialist, but beth would toss her skinny ass all around the ring without a second thought.

maryse... mccool... eve.. maria.. kelly kelly?!?!? PUH-LEASE! the ONLY women worth keeping on the roster as a whole are beth, gail, melina, mickie, natalya, and katie lea (who is TERRIBLY underrated!)

mickie james aint all that.. in fact, i noticed lately that mickie is getting a bit of a "spare tire" around her mid section.. she needs to work out some more. melina is good.. VERY good.. but NOWHERE in the league of beth phoenix.

like i said,.. the ONLY woman i can see capable of having a TREMENDOUS match with beth phoenix would be natalya... katie lea has had INCREDIBLE matches with beth when they were both down in ohio valley (and katie lea had beaten beth for the ovw womens title as well!)

beth can wrestle, she's got the power, she's got the psychology, and shes got pretty damn good mike skills too.

what the wwe NEEDS to do is get rid of all the friggin make-up and false eyelashes they are making the women wear these days.

The best in-ring performer is Maryse, by and far. Her matches are the most fluid.

Gail Kim is very athletic, as is Mickey James. She bounces around the ring with so much energy.

Melina can do everything mediocre or better. Beth is the dominant one. Kelly Kelly is coming along, but needs a lot more work. Michelle McCool seems to have some mat skills.

Overall, they have a pretty good women's division. I hope they unify the belts sometime soon. If it were built up correctly, it could bring some popularity back to the women's title.
