Anyone else think its just a matter of time before its Hero's Time?

I gotta say,The evolution of the man they call Chris Hero is quite a evolution. I would go as far to say that its one of the biggest evolutions as change goes. I had seen him back in his early CZW days with the shiny pants and all that. Thought had a interesting name that could be easily marketed and some cool moves but besides that he was just another lower indy guy. Not to say he wasnt talented at all just there are certain guys on the lower side of the indys that just never really make it big and i put him in that catagory at first. Then came a bit of a evolution after joining ROH after the whole wars between CZW and ROH went on. Once he joined sweet and sour i started to kind of get interested. He almost didnt seem like the same guy. Yet still I just couldnt see him getting to big. Then came when he started making regular trips to Japan and he started the whole Young KnockOut Kid. This really caught my eye. He really started to be more on my radar as well as probably others during this time. Only thing of course is i will admit I was with the majority who hated his first attire for the KO kid. Of course he has changed that since and after all this i gotta say more and more he is not only becoming one of the guys taking up the empty spots in ROH main event left by Danielson and Mcguiness but in general becoming one of the top names on the top level indy circuit. I really dont feel it will be too long before he first becomes ROH champ(not to soon because short ROH title runs are lame) and honestly while i know there are alot of anti go to wwe guys out there i think he could make it there and make a impact there like Punk and Bourne and MVP and other guys that actually worked their way up through the indys and into WWE. I wanted to know what you guys thought about the Evolution of Hero and whats next in his path?

Amen! Hero is primed to be ROH Champion within the next year along with Tyler Black & Davey Richards. With the IMO somewhat decline of ROH this year and the uprise of PWG, ive gotten to see CH at his full potential in the ring and with his mouth. And I gotta say he's about 3x better then he was back in 2006 when he debuted with ROH at Hell Freezes Over in a match vs Bryan Danielson. Im not a fan of the whole YKK deal though cause honestly Hero is not a lethal striker lol. But with the departures of Dragon & Nigel I think ROH desperately needs to push the likes of Davey and Hero to the moon.

Chris Hero has reinvented himself a few times over the past couple of years. He is a great performer who will without a doubt be a part of the WWE roster in the near future. He is in the midst of a fairly hot fued with Eddie Kingston at the present time, which has brought him back to center stage in ROH.

With that being said, I think that ROH dropped the ball with Chris Hero a while back. He was the hottest he has ever been when Sweet & Sour, Inc. was first established over a year and a half ago. The reactions he was getting from the crowd was deafening. Every single person in every crowd had an opinion on Hero whether they loved him or hated him- he made people care. He was more relevant than anyone else on the roster at that time. Hero still gets decent crowd reaction, but it's nothing like it was a year ago.

I think that was the time Hero should've been belted. Nigel, as a babyface, was a few months into his title reign and was getting a negative reaction from the fans. He was suffering from his first of many bicep injuries and really could've used some time off. It was the perfect time for Hero to step in. As it turns out, Nigel was able to make a very successful heel turn- and have a very successful title reign- which I believe launched his career to the next level. But I think Hero could have been just as successful.

ROH had 2 very solid options for a champion and they chose to stick with Nigel. As a result, Hero was put on the back burner. Since that time, Hero has reinvented himself once again as "that young KO kid". He new persona is a much more intense and serious character. He still looks great in the ring and still cuts a great promo. With the departure of Danielson and McGuiness, we might see Hero return to a role as a consistent main event guy. However, I see him moving on to the WWE before he ever gets his shot at the ROH championship.

The WWE needs to forget Danielson, and mcgunniess and bring Chris Hero to raw. This Guy is amazing and would fued great with Orton for the WWe championship. Plus it would get cena out of the picture.

I sir and or ma'am am all for getting Cena out of the picture. Glad I see eye to eye with a few people here.

I've missed out on a handful of weeks of ROH action, but I do keep track here.

Hero has picked up and learned so much over the past year, it is pretty amazing. His microphone skills are great as well. It just sucks that ROH has the 'semi-feud' deal going on all the time. He could blast off and show the world who he really is if they gave him the time and the effort from the rest of the staff and talent of ROH.

I know Hero really well and I'm happy that he's finally getting the big push. Anyone think it was odd that he lost to Steen in Canada though? Steen's got a bad knee and he's mainly a tag team wrestler. I know it was to make the hometown fans happy, but I think right now it's important to book Hero very strong. I'd like to see the ROH title go like this:
Aries loses to Black
Black loses to Davey
Davey loses to Hero
Hero loses to Roderick

That would happen over the next year or so.
