Saw this on r/squaredcircle. He's flip-flopped from "Well, autistic or not, 8 year olds don't know wrestling is real", to "My son knew when he was 2 years old."

This is something you'd expect a Milo Yiannopoulos to say, not someone from a company like ESPN. I guess some people will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame.

I actually didn't know KO's son was autistic until I read this. The report I saw earlier on the subject left out that his son was in fact autistic.

I can't honestly say I'm surprised something like this happened. I know when ESPN started covering the WWE, it upset some people. It was only natural one of their employees would speak out in such a manner.

I made the mistake of reading the Facebook comments on an article that Sports Center's page posted about the WWE and it was like ESPN took a dump on the Bible then used said Bible to abort a baby. It was awful.

It is always the NBA reporters who start shit though.

ESPN will probably release a statement saying the tweet doesn't represent their views and suspend him for a week. ESPN as a company has swept much bigger controversies with their reporters under the rug.

I was waiting for some classless prick to start insulting Kevin Owens' son, I just wasn't expecting it to be an ESPN analyst. People like this guy annoy me to no end. It's as if they're dropping some great and hidden knowledge on us that wrestling is in fact scripted. Like all wrestling fans watch WWE thinking it's real. "It's SCRIPTED guys! Going after a wrestler or wrestling in general is fine. Taking passive-aggressive potshots at an autistic 8 year old kid who's rightfully excited that his dad just won a World title is fucking pathetic. This guy should go up to any wrestler who appears on ESPN and say something to their face instead of taking to social media to make fun of a child. That would never happen though.

Was honestly pretty disgusted that a newsreader would take potshots at a child for enjoying something their parent is involved in.

Coach actually condemned the guy's actions on Twitter afterwards, so that was something at least.
