Facebook is trending Bernie Sanders dodging Jess Watters on this tactic and he kept asking him the most mind numbing questions I've heard in journalism in a while:
In regards to him not being on The O'Reilly Factor: "You’re not so big-time now that you’re gonna forget about your friends, right?”
While he has them there: "Are you afraid of Hillary Clinton?"
Jokingly, but still cringe-inducing was: "O'Reilly is worried when you become president you'll seize his house. Should he be worried?"
I am not too familiar with "ambush interviews" and that side of journalism admittedly, but when I guy says he doesn't do those, and gives you an alternative to ask your questions, wouldn't the mature, classy thing to do would be to get with his press secretary for an interview instead of ignoring the man outright? Bit rude. But then again that gets viewers, right?
