Always Heel or Always Face

tomthebodz

Pre-Show Stalwart
Are there any wrestlers who have remained a heel or a face throughout their career?

The only one I can think of is Ricky Steamboat. Or has he been a heel at some point?

I like this question but I think you need to set some parameters (length of career, include indies, include non-televised matches, include post-retirement). Otherwise, I think I could argue that Zeus, Muhammed Hassan and The Missing Link were always WWE heels and that just doesn't feel like what you are going for.

The Old School names that immediately pop in to my head are Ultimate Warrior and Ted Dibiase but I'm not sure. I don't remember Rick Rude being much more than either a heel or a tweener.

STING

Even when he turned to the Crow persona, he was the ultimate face.

Even in the Main Event Mafia angle he was never truely heel.

It's been mentioned previously, but when I read the topic of discussion, Rick Rude was the first name that came to mind. I believe he was only a heel his entire career, unless you include the first ECW PPV.

Ziggler's never really been a face, On Colt Cabana's podcast he said he was one for a couple of show's early on in his career.

Both Sting and Warrior were heels in their early careers (pre NWA/WCW/WWF). Ted Dibiase was also a face early on in mid south. Steamboat is about the only one I can think of that never flip flopped.

I can't recall David, Kerry or Kevin Von Erich ever working as a heel, and I don't remember Superfly Jimmy Snuka ever being one either...although I don't know anything about what he did outside of the WWF, so that may just be lack of knowledge on my part.

Im Not sure how long he was in the promotion, but The Hurricane( Not including Gregory Helms persona). Was he ever heel?

Jimmy Snuka was one of the top heels of the Bob Backland title reign, only turning face when Buddy Rogers after months of investigations discovered that Lou Albano was ripping him off financially.

Ahhh the good old days when even a simple heel/face turn took months of plot lines.

I don't ever remember The Rock N' Roll Express being heels. Of course, I was very young during their heyday so I might have missed a heel run.

y morton became a heel later on, he joined the york foundation as richard morton.

greg the hammer valentine was always a heel as i recall. dont recall him ever becoming a face.
bobby the brain was always a heel he started as a heel wrestler who would become one of the best heel managers but still a heel his whole time in wrestling
the one man gang who became akeem was always a heel as i remember

Yeah, I stand corrected. That was just prior to when I started watching as a kid, and I was going solely by memory.

Kofi Kingston has literally never been a heel in his whole career so far. Even pre WWE
