Life's A Bitch, And Then You Mosh
For the first time ever, TA is making a live pay-per-view available on the TNA Video Vault. For $14.99, you can watch the show, as it happens.

I think it's fucking brilliant. The buys are low on TV, so making it available for a lower price on more widely available service, makes sense. They'll get a ton of new viewers who want to see, but don't have the money, and it will be there for people to watch who won't be near a TV...Say, at work?

Your thoughts?

This is so damn brilliant. A very intelligent move by TNA. TNA could really increase the buyrates with this. The next day is President's Day or something, so people won't have work or school, and 15 dollars is really not alot of money. A main reason why people don't buy PPVs is because of cost, and that is eliminated with the Video Vault deal.

A very intelligent move by TNA.

THE LIVE PPV HAS A MAJOR CATCH

from the TNA website

Now in the comfort of your own home and wherever you have internet access you can watch all of the action LIVE anywhere in the world that TNA Pay-Per-View events are not already offered via cable or satellite distribution. ....
The event will also be available on demand online at TNAvideovault.com for two weeks after the PPV

This event will not be available via the internet in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Germany and Australia

Dumb move by TNA. They should make it free anywhere online to get the money that the streamers are taking from them. Some streamers are getting almost 300 people per ppv at 5 per show.

TNA is not thinking strategically.

TNA Against All Odds is not available in the following countries:

USA, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Australia, Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Denmark, Luxemburg, South Tyrol, India, Panama, Portugal, Israel, Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Congo, Democratic Republic, Congo Republic, Cape Verde, Chad, Central African Republic, Comoros Islands, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mayotte, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Reunion, Rwanda, Sao Tome & Principe, Senegal, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, St Helena, Somalia, Sudan, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
So it's basicly available in the UK, France, and the former Soviet Union. Why fucking bother? If TNA wanted to use this to widen thier fan base it ain't gonna work. This is nothing. Useless.

and why ibn the hell would anybody in the UK buy a TNA PPV? We get them for free (as long as you pay for the channel) on TV. Sure it's not live and there's an hour of adverts, but chances are you're going to record it and fast forward through them anyway. This not the smartest move TNA's ever made. to bwe sure, it's a great idea but it's a poorly executed one.

Its no longer on free tv in the UK anymore. Its only shown on BT vision which sucks. This is a good thing but it is also a stupid thing by only showing in certain countries. If they did it everywhere it would get a lot more money. They seem to be doing a lot of stupid moves first by moving it off Bravo and now this.

I thnk they may learn frm their mistakes and make the next PPV's avaliable everywhere online. If they did I would certainly purchase them more. I don't simply cause of the cost.
