Affliction is painful to watch

So yeah, mah boys recommend I look up some of this Vitor Belfort shit. Naturally, I look up his Affliction knockouts.

What I find is disturbing and saddening. Affliction decided to have all their gear banned from UFC shows for this? No wonder it's not catching on - it's shit.

Frank Trigg was alright on commentary at Banned - that's the best I can say of anything outside the fights. The ring announcing was painful to watch - it's as if the guy couldn't read.

What a shit promotion.

New promotions usually are. And ones that are on their way out are also shit. Looks like you picked the wrong novice promotion to look up.

I don't like the shirts either. Too much shit going on.

I don't think Affliction is that bad, personally. I mean, the main events delivered in both shows, and I've always perferred the ring over the Octagon. But I can understand that if you've read the Affliction fanboys before watching the product that they do overrate it.

But yeah... while Affliction is somewhat enjoyable, at the end of the day it's nothing more than a poor man's PRIDE. And while PRIDE was great, even they had a bunch of shitty shows.
