AF16: Isabel Stone vs. The Angel

Only two competitors remain in the Mentorship Program and the only female in the contest has shown that she has what it takes to win. For the round break that both rookies have (regarding being safe from eliminations), Isabel has been scheduled to compete against the 4th place recipient in the Program, the Angel. Stone has yet to defeat the Angel and a victory here can really push her momentum going into Unscripted where she will face Krypto for 1st place.

I did it... I made it into the final elimination. Beating Darren Bull to get here wasn't as easy as I thougt it would be, but it wasn't a war maze either. Now at Unscripted I have to face Krypto to win this program. All I have to do is-

Isabel?

Isabel is sitting on the floor of her room meditating. She opens her eyes and acknowlages her former cop boyfriend Justin who is standing in the doorway. She looks over at him.

Yes?

You...okay? You've been up here for a while an been pretty quiet.

Just thinking about Unscripted. Should be good.

You have the Angel to worry about now. He's your next match, right?

Justin walks over and lays on the floor next to where Isabel is sitting. She smiles and lays down next to him, their faces close together.

He won't be too much of a problem. He's obviously not that good if he came in fourth, right?

On a technicality, yes. But in reality you can't just judge your opponents based on what you think. That leaves you too open to assult.

I guess. So what do you suggest I do?

Practice of course.

Isabel grabs Justin's shoulders and flips him over her, rolling over to sit on his chest. She smirks.

I hope you weren't implying yourself, that would be like playing Blocks on the computer. Too simple and quick.

Ow. Okay, no need to make it so obvious. What way is this to treat your boyfriend?

Justin throws a fake pout Isabel's direction and she giggles and kisses him playfully.

I'll treat you better later, right now I have to go train for this match.

Isabel shrieks with laughter as Justin pulls her down into a sloppy kiss which they hold until fade.

Later that night...​

Justin and Isabel leave the gym together, Justin obviously tousled from training Isabel. Isabel has an arm around him protectively as they walk, her head resting lazily on his shoulder. Suddenly, two eighteen year-olds run up to the couple. Both are male and are dressed as aliens and run up to Isabel excited.

Excuse me Earth maiden and male! We come in peace and humbly ask you both if you have seen our Leader, Krypto?

Huh?

Krypto! I believe you have met him before?

Look buddy, you need to-

I actually do know where he is.

The three males look at her, two in hope the other in mad confusion. Isabel winks at Justin.

Why do you two need to see him?

We wish to simply meet him and ask him if he knows a way back to our home planet. Being the leader he must know a way!

So you two are poor lost aliens?

Yes, we are sadly. Why do you ask?

I only wanted to know. I heard that aliens are very sacred on this planet.

Are you not from here?

No, I do not. I am Stona from the planet Lotus. This is my mate, Davisso. I am empress of Lotus and we are merely visiting this planet in case our people ever need to find a new home.

The "aliens" stare at Isabel in wonder.

So... you're and Empress...?

I am. Krypto and I met a while back.

Both college students get on their knees and begin ****shipping Isabel. Isabel lets this go on as passerbys stare at the teens in confusion. After a few minutes she lets them up.

You can find him at the space station "Mental Institue". All you have to do is go in, tell the humans your story and they will send you to Krypto right away.

With a final bow to the "Empress" they run off in the direction of the town's mental institute. Isabel and Justin begin walking home again as if nothing ever happened. A block from the apartment Justin looks at Isabel and smiles.
