Aces & Eights: An Analysis

Krimson then gets on the mic and cuts a scathing promo about how he dosen't want his pound of flesh he wants 2. And how he is sick of waiting for TNA to come calling, he was just going to come over and kick their door down. The Ace's and 8's stay in masks different #'s and different people every week. So many new storylines to come off of this like the Raven Dreamer feud. People could come in and turn face or heel under the mask. Hell have Samoa Joe come to the ring last at BFG see Krimson and run. Turns out Krimson was the one who abducted him last year not "They". Do an angle about Joe being terrifyed of the guy. Honestly he is freaky as hell and cuts one of the best promos in wrestling today. A fresh face. And could possibly be the best heel in wrestling if given the ball. Sorry so long. No I'm not. lol What do u think?

Whats up guys, this is my 1st post here so don't rip my head off. This angle has me hooked on TNA wrestling. Like the WWE had me with the Nexus until they got beat at SS and pretty much ruined the angle. Well here is my idea Bound For Glory the big stage whatever the main event is, this is where we learn why. The match is a lumberjack match because the 8's have really taken the attacks up a notch and given both participants the dead mans hand, with all of the guys that have been involved so far being lumberjacks. The match ends the lumberjacks hit the ring as the 8's surround it. This time there are 20 of them. ready to pounce, they jump in the ring and beat the holy hell out of all the TNA guys. As they are all laying in a bloody heap Jarrett's music hits out comes the King of the Mountain with Karen. He gets in the ring like he has really pulled it off this time and goes to hug them. But they beat the crap out of him too. Karen has an evil smile on her face when Dixe comes out to confront her. Then the lights go out and the TNA stole my gimmick and name promo plays. The lights go back on, Dixe and Karen on one side 8's on the other the middle 8 takes his mask off it's KRIMSON and they proceed to bump the ladies around the ring. The locker room empties faces, heels, refs, security, Taz and Tenay all descimated by the 8's.

At first when i seen Krimson I thought you misspelled Crimson but then I remember the whole thing between them two. But let me get this straight, you want to take this whole angle that has the potential to be a good summer angle and can elevate(or bring) new talent into TNA and reveal the Leader that 99.91% of the audience doesn't know, and truthfully will not care about as Krimson?

I know this is your opinion and what not, but in my opinion, if TNA decides to go this route, even if Jesus and Tupac appeared on TNA, I will still not watch due to them revealing Krimson as the leader.

And if you don't mind me asking, what gimmick did TNA steal from a "Indy" Wrestler.

Did you watch the Justin Carnes interview on here? It will explain everything that's why I said lights out and show that interview about D-Lo stealing his name Crimson and gimmick "joker Sting". And the Impact would care that character is freaky as hell

And that's the point bring new talent. It dosen't matter who is under the masks it's all mind games. Krimson is a phenomenal character I swear the guy channeled his inner Heath ledger. But its edgier then The Insane Icon. And why has Crimson been off tv so long? Just sayin. In my opinion it's better then another Jarrett run

if its a woman then it will most likely be karen jerrett. she could be doing this because she blames sting and hogan for her being targeting brooke because she know has her job. i do think that if it is karen. jeff will get involved at some point. but there would be one person who i think would be better suited to be the leader of the aces and eights and that would be james mitchell. he has not been in tna for years know but when we did last see him he was involved in a storyline with abyss and sting. which ended with sting getting abyss to turn on mitchell. and this whole thing could be about him wanting revenge on sting for getting his on screen son abyss to turn on him.

I was reading up on some old west history and legends from which I found Calamity Jane makes an interesting figure in the line of the discussion we are having here. She likely had some issues with alcohol and possibly was somewhat obsessed with Hickok. They might have been married at one point and might have had a child together that she gave up but the evidence surrounding either claim leaves some ambiguity.

Buffalo Biil Cody (not to be confused with Wild Bill) was born in Le Claire. Bischoff named his beer after that guy so he is clearly familiar with the stories surrounding him. It certainly would appear that TNA has incorporated elements of these stories from the past into what they are doing now. If it means anything more than that or provides clues for what is to come is hard to say.

Yea but the Dead Man's Hand is about Wild Bill, not Buffalo Bill. And I don't think ODB will be behind AcesAndEights. lol

For a while, I kinda thought that the very large member of aces and eights was a guy I had worked with in....Mississippi? Florida? Not quite sure.....who called himself "clarice." I also thought that maybe he was "abyss" in the park/ bully match.

I have just watched the beginning of this week's impact. The guy in the video from A&E was almost certainly Park. I am unsure what this means, and I haven't watched the rest of the show, but it looks like those of you who said abyss was involved look like you were on the right track.

I cannot deny that I am very interested in this storyline.

So I was just watching Impact and I noticed that 2 MEMBERS were basically just poured into our cups aka Wes Brisco(his hair and body structure) and Luke Gallows. I mean, come on, do they really think we're THAT stupid? What was the point of having Wes be on Impact beforehand AT ALL, if they were going to make it, so blatantly obvious? They shouldn't have let Gallows take off the sunglasses on camera, because we can obviously, tell it's him.

I already have a pretty accurate prediction of the members Jeff Jarrett, Luke Gallows, Mike Knox, Chris Masters, Matt Morgan, Crimson, Wes Brisco, and Eric Bischoff. Now, don't get me a wrong, I am extremely impressed with TNA's current product, besides the AJ/DanielsKaz/Whatever her name is, it's pretty solid, but I thought it was a HUGE mistake to be that revealing, especially with Brisco & Gallows.

Hopefully TNA doesn't drop the ball with this one, when they finally reveal their identities, because TNA has been doing very solid lately, especially with the BFG series, with guys like Hardy, RVD, Anderson, Storm, Joe,etc.. to be relevant without being in the title picture.

If it was COMPLETELY obvious, everyone would be posting the same exact thing. But people are still speculating, which means this one storyline is actually still interesting (the rest of the stories on the show are just awful).

Sounds like you're just naming every MIA wrestler and/or wrestler that has been rumored to be joining TNA with your "accurate prediction". You're just missing Batista and Goldberg.

It's been pointed out repeatedly that the men filling the rolls of Aces and Eights now may not be the same men who take the spots once they unmask, so it's kind of a moot point how obvious you think that masked guy X is Y.

It's difficult to tell since their masks and bandanas or whatever covers up pretty much all their features.

At the end of the day, however, I do think that several wrestlers that've been in Ring Ka King will ultimately comprise this group with. It's certainly possible that there'll be several TNA wrestlers as part of the group that we haven't seen on televsion in a while. As for the ultimate leader of the group, you're going to have to have a legend at the helm in order to give the group legitimacy. The top assumptions are either Jeff Jarrett or Eric Bischoff, maybe even both, and they're good guesses. Both men have been away from TNA television for a long while now, especially Jarrett as he's been working in Mexico and in Ring Ka King.

Ultimately, however, I see this as another nWo based faction wars storyline. It becomes all the more clear with each passing week. Aces & Eights are attacking just about everybody, heels & faces alike and they're basically getting everyone to turn on every one else with a slight manipulation here and there.

It's "completely" obvious to the people who read the dirt sheets all the time and know the rumors. At least the Gallows thing. Wes being a part of it should be picked up by the casual viewers.

Other than that, if you don't read the dirt sheets and follow the rumors you'll have ZERO clue who they could be. We're Internet fans and we're privy of information casual fans aren't so naturally we'll know more about a storyline that we should.

Still, even now we don't know for SURE who they all will be, all we have is theories. If TNA left US stumped then they did a pretty good job.

I loved the Bane voices, though.

I think that Mr. Anderson is involved in the group after seeing the show last night,I will be surprised if he isn't in they seem too want him as a heel with like 4 heel turnssince he joined the company!!

Heres another twist.....remember 2 years ago about Samoa Joes abduction. What if those guys who took him were the Aces and Eights. Then Joe goes to the finals of the bound for glory series angaist ethier Angle or Storm (ill say Angle and have Roode screw storm in the semi finals). As the people think there gonna screw Angle. The attack Angle and help Joe win the BFG series and Joe will face Aries at BFG..

Its a long shot ik. but ill stil with my orignal pick, which is EZE behind it all

If the guy who have been playing the Aces and Eights... are the Aces and Eights... were talking about..

Samoa Joe, Crimson, Gunner, Kid Kash, Mark Haskins....

expect a group of young heels, or under rated heels looking to take back control.

Samoa Joe was clearly the guy talking in the videos last night.

All the Aces and Eights men in the videos played on iMPACT! last night wore "PROSPECT" patches, which in the biker/gang world means they are essentially "trying out" for a club. IMO this is clear-cut proof that there is a higher agenda here and that the group will undoubtedly have a leader, because if not, what's the purpose of wearing that patch?

Completely agree on the patches thing here, None who have appeared so far will be leaders.
As many have said those behind the masks may not be the wrestlers revealed,
but the first one appeared to be Samoa Joe, im unsure of the other 2.
they will obviously have thier showing tonight on hardcore justice, im predicting bully through a table, i think it will be no surrender where its revealed Storm isnt in charge, but the real leader ( most likely JJ) will be revealed at the lead up to BFG leading to a big match A&8s Vs a face group.
This is how i think the timeline will play out a 3 month intro to the reveal (roughly) then another 3 months of battling in the open.

As far as members go I know some people have been throwing gallows around as being in aces and 8s but I haven't heard Cliff Compton (Had a match with TNA about a month or two ago) does any one else agree with me or do you think this idea is way off

The O.P.'s original post was probably cooler than the eventual reveal of this group. We know Luke Gallows is behind one of the masks; whether or not they use him when it actually comes time to reveal is a different story. At this point I would say Matt Morgan is about a 90% of being involved, but I still don't see him as THE guy behind it all.

It screams Jeff Jarrett still. Sting "outlawed" him from TNA and Impact Wrestling, and he has since spent time in both AAA and Ring Ka King. If they wanted to go full-blown "wild west" on this angle, what if James Storm really was involved? That'd be an interesting twist on why he eventually decided to come back. Play the "it's too obvious for it to be Storm, but it actually is Storm" card. Jarrett, Storm and possibly Chris Harris could make an interesting outlaw group, rocking their dusters and cowboy hats to the ring. I don't see that actually being the case, but it's fun!

Unfortunately, tonight was the worst chapter in the Aces and Eights storyline. I really have been enjoying it so far, but there were too many members and they were too easily dispatched by the TNA locker room. Sadly, tonight did nothing except make Aces and Eights look weak.

Bro TNA might have looked strong at first but aces and eights won the battle tonight did u see what happened to Austin tonight obviously its a lot of members there portraying ane as a biker gang which is usually a large group don't let sons of anarchy fool u. And they seperated Austin from the rest of the locker room. What I really wanna know is who is in charge??

I agree there were far to many. but aces and eights could come out next week and say that only the guys who took out aries were aces and eights members and the rest were just hired guns brought in to distract the rest of the tna locker room while they took him out. still enjoying the story but i am kind of hoping that tna will reveal who the aces and eights are soon.

I don't think its too many instead of a lil TNA alliance against a small group its the WHOLE TNA locker room against a invading gang a gang is a group wit a unknown number of members I like the way this is goin

THis is exactly what I was thinking was going to happen last night. They would reveal that the guys TNA were fighting were just hired hands as decoys. I really hope that this is the way the angle plans out cause if it doesn't the Group looked weak.
