Academy Awards Pools Are My Favorite Form Of Gambling

That and euchre. But I get to play euchre more than once a year, so it automatically becomes less thread worthy. What's your poison in the gambling department? Playing the ponies? Cock-fights? Over-unders on the degree of rage emitted by KB during and after weekly iMPACT broadcasts?

I enjoy the occasional Texas Hold 'Em game. I usually play with the same group of guys when I'm home, and I generally do pretty well. I'm sure if I went to a casino and tried my luck I'd be hemorrhaging money before the first flop, but at home I do pretty well. Unfortunately it's rarely for anything more than pocket money, $40-$50 bucks.

Other than that I'm not big on gambling. I don't buy lottery tickets, I've never been to a casino, and I don't usually gamble on sporting events.

My friends and I get a pool going for fantasy football and fantasy baseball. I usually at least break even.
