I remember probably 95% of their feud over the years...but for some reason this once escaped my memory. Shawn and Bret did plenty of shooting on one another...but this one I completely forgot. Wow.

Such a great rivalry. You can feel the emotion pour out of Shawn and meaning every single word of it.

Yeah this one was covered pretty well in Bret Hart's book. It really took things between them to a whole other level, and apparently upset a lot of guys in the back, not just Bret.

McMahon claimed that Shawn went off on his own during it, and that Shawn was going to be punished for it... but I don't believe that ever happened, or that Shawn didn't actually have the approval of McMahon to go out and say all those things.

It is. I think it's one of the better ones out there.

You do have to get over the fact that Bret Hart's biggest fan is... well Bret Hart, and that he never misses the opportunity to let you know about yet another guy who considers him the best in the business... and he does mess up some of his timelines...

but beyond that, it is very insightful, and a pretty easy read. If you're a fan of Hart's... or even 80's/90's WWF, you'll enjoy it. He doesn't hold much back.

Great Rival! I wish Bret didn't go to WCW, They could of haved that feud for couple of years and make many memories for the fans. Bret said that "he was trying to plant the seed for the rival and make it going for the next 5 years." I wish that was the case. Also Bret had alot of great feuds that year, With Austin, With 'Taker. I love the "New" Hart Foundation with Bret, Neidhart, Owen, Bulldog, and Pillman. I wish that stable could of last a year or so but that wasnt the case. If anyone that did not read Bret's book, You should, its a great read!
