^ The above is the complete list above desserts better than pudding pie. What makes pudding pie so great?

Cost of ingredients: Less than $4.
Preparation time: About 3 minutes
Level of cooking/baking expertise necessary: None
Level of deliciousness: Off the charts

Best dessert ever. How do you make it? Buy a graham cracker pie crust. Buy two boxes of instant pudding (whichever flavors you want). Buy 2 & 3/4 cup of milk. Pour two boxes of instant pudding mix into mixing bowl. Stir in milk for 2 minutes. Pour pudding into pie crust. Cover and refrigerate for 2-3 hours. Enjoy.

EDIT: They also have Oreo pie crusts now too.

My family has been making this for years. We call it Dream Pie. But yeah, its freaking fabulous, easy, and cheap. Vanilla is my personal favorite, but I've been meaning to give Butterscotch a try.

I agree about the deliciousness of it. A couple things to add to this.

1. Adding Whipped Cream, would that add to it? I believe so.
2. I have never seen someone be able to buy 2 and 3/4 cup of milk. It comes in pint, quart, half gallon, and gallon containers.

2-3 hours? But I want my pudding pie now.
You could eat it now, but it's so much better when the pudding is cold.

I'm SO buying Oreo pie crusts and chocolate pudding tomorrow.
It's totally worth it.

I'm not a fan of whipped cream. So it wouldn't for me. But yes, it would enhance it if you do like whipped cream.

You clearly are not shopping in the right places then. :p

The pudding never makes it to the crust. I eat it out of the bowl right after it's done. Pretty sure my kids have never even tried pudding yet but I buy it every month.

If apple pie and carrot cake had a rape baby, I would eat it.
