A Brother's Time To Go ?

Super Crazy

CABS ARE HEEEERREEE!!
Now I'm sure many of you have heard this by now. Last night Jeff Hardy appeared on iMPACT!. Now everyone in the LD last night was saying that this could be a bad thing for Matt Hardy. Everyone felt that by Jeff showing up on TNA programming that Vince would punish Matt for his brother's actions. Now my question to you is do you think this is true? Can you see any possible push for Hardy being halted now due to his brother Jeff?

If anything were to happen though, I believe Hardy would leave. I mean he's spent the better half of Jeff's departure still defending him against CM Punk. If Hardy were to be jobbed out due to his brother I honestly think he would leave for TNA.

What do you guys think? Does Jeff Hardy appearing on TNA hurt his brother at all? Do you think Matt Hardy will leave WWE for TNA?

Considering who runs the WWE I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Matt Hardy buried as a punishment for Jeff's actions. If that happens then I would encourage Matt to switch to TNA, not only could we get a Hardy Boyz reunion but much like Christian, I could see Matt being pushed by TNA creative as a legitimate upper-midcarder/main eventer, which is something the WWE still hasn't done. Then again Matt didn't leave for Jeff the last time he was in TNA although he did leave after the whole Edge/Lita issue. Honestly it's a tough call but I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Matt get punished, so if that occurs there's always room for another Hardy at TNA.

Honestly imo, Matt would be a lot better off in TNA.

They would give him the respect he deserves and the chance at a title he deserves.

Jeff knew what was up.

My best example of why Matt would do better is Christian's TNA run. When Christian came to TNA they pushed him the way he was meant to be pushed. They built him up. And imo without Christian being built up in TNA, he wouldn't be so over now in WWE.

Matt's a hard worker, a loyal worker, and very reliable. Really he would benefit any wrestling organization he was in. But, if he chose to join TNA, then he would start benefiting himself even more.

That is, unless WWE starts seeing him for what he is and giving him a chance to truly shine.

The problem I personally see with Matt Hardy jumping ship to TNA is, he won't have any benefit to his situation. I mean the company is being run by Bischoff, Hogan, Dixie, Jarrett and there is a ton of the old nWo/new MEM taking over. Matt Hardy is not going to benefit by being on TNA because he is going to get lost in the shuffle. TNA currently has the problem of too many guys and nowhere to put them, how many of the original roster did you actually see on Impact last night? Problem is Jeff's TNA status may not be fully solid given his trial is not over and if he's found guilty, TNA shot themselves in the foot.

While Matt may suffer from Jeff's actions, I seriously think Matt didn't expect Jeff to be on Impact, he probably knew Moore would be and expected Jeff just to tag along. Problem is Matt already got punished by not feuding with Punk straight after Jeff left.

While Matt leaving may on paper sound like a benefit, in reality, he's going to be in the same situation as TNA, maybe worst. Now while Christian got a run at the NWA Title, that was far from the TNA that occured last night, it will slowly yet surely turn into a newer version of WCW. No benefit for Matt if he left, better to stay put because he's been loyal and even if he gets punished by Vince, TNA won't have anything new to offer him.

WWE has made it clear they really have no intention on pushing Matt past the mid card. Yeah, I got excited when he went to Raw, a while back, but he never went any where, and was injured most of the time. His biggest pushes came as EC champ, against Jeff, and MVP to a certain extent. Ever since he made up with with Jeff right before he was getting ready to leave, he's become just another guy on the mid card again.

Going to TNA wouldn't hurt him, but it might Jeff. Think about it, TNA's mid card is pretty crowded already, and with Hogan saying"everyone's going to have to earn their spot" Matt would really be able to shine in the mid card. So what would TNA most likely do....put The Hardy Boyz back together as Reddannhiliation already mentioned. Now this would be good for Matt, but Jeff doesn't need this. He got a good pop on his own last night, and would probably be thrust to the top of the X-division if he were to go to TNA ALONE.

I agree with everything that has already been posted.

Hardyz as a tag team would be awesome to see in TNA. I'm currently restarting TEW 08 game and later on a little Invasion from WWE to TNA. Moving onto the point I always wonder how things would go if you put the Hardyz and even Lita back together somehow in real life and feuded with Motor City Machine Guns and Traci or someone that fits in this feud or instead of MCMG why not bring back Matt Bently and Kaz back together with Traci Brooks. In my head I already got the idea plan out but without the feud starts off but the ending is gonna be interesting. All I am saying it would be great for the Hardyz as a tag team but lets face it both of them want to be single wrestlers though.

When Matt decided to go back up north while Jeff was in TNA I think that was Matt's mistake in my eyes. I've always been Jeff fan then Matt's but he is a great wrestler and a leader no doubt. Vince is going to do whatever to Matt and still make him stay with the company somehow. We've seen it happen before and as it may kill us to watch Matt sufer. There's no much we can do about because Matt still wants to be World Champ in WWE someday just like Jeff until that happens Matt's not going anywhere and that sucks. We all know he will do a lit better in TNA but not at this time until TNA get all the past old nWo guys out then Matt is better off where he is for now.

It was great to Jeff in TNA and little suprise of what he ended up doing because I thought it might be Moore doing some kind of a spot then Jeff. Moore is going to do something in the X Division no doubt but he never did much when he was there the first time. He ended up going back up north just like Matt. At one point there was going to be a feud with AJ vs Moore. Could this happen this time around who knows we will just have to wait and see. I hope we will get a feud going between Homicide vs Hardy. I would enjoy the match but who knows how is legal trouble may come as the time go on. I mean TNA needs to milk Jeff appearance as long as they can just in case. TNA brought in Jeff for X Division before but that didn't last because he moved up into the Main Event for World Title. I can see that happening again as well. Who knows maybe we will also see a Hardy vs Styles II as well. Kid Kash mess the first match up so the way I see it between Syles and Hardy the record is 1-0-1. After that match they did team up for a few matches but never against each other except for UWF. The way things are going for Styles maybe turning heel aligning him with Hogan and the nWo. If things are great for Jeff around that time. Who would want to see Hardy vs Styles for the title or not.

As a fan we can alway hope and guess what will happen next. The truth is we never know but we would like to know something then nothing at all.

I hope for the best for both of the Hardyz and Moore.

PS The great thing that could happen is for Shane Helms to quit WWE and maybe that would finally seal the deal for Matt to actually leave as well. I promise you that would be great for TNA.

If they were to make an X Division Tag Team or if they just want to spice the Tag Team Division up again with smaller wrestlers. How great would it be to see these teams in action in one organization again.?!

Team Angle (Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas)
Paul London and Brian Kendrick
Hardyz
Shane Helms and Shannon Moore or 3 Count with Evan K
The SAT
Jung Dragons (Jimmy Yang, Kaz Hayashi, and Jamie Knoble)
Evan K and Jamie Knoble
Daniels and Styles again
Psicosis and Juvi
Rey M and Kidman (wishing dream)
Triple X (Daniels, Skipper, and Low Ki)
Teddy Hart and Jack Evans

Really soo much more I can easily come up with but I'm just saying what a dream for TNA to have these teams. Considering that WWE has hardly have any teams as is that are left for there tag team titles.

Plus I know TNA don't need those teams especially right now but I was just wishing and show incredible it would be if they could bring those guys and if they had enough time to actually show them on TV.

I said in the SD forum that I thought Matt Hardy would probably be better of in TNA, and I guess I still believe that, WWE obviously was never going to push him as a ME and I'm starting to doubt they were actually going to do anything that have him promote Mid-carders.

TNA was a better idea 4 weeks ago though. Back then he'd probably be an upper midcarder, now though, he's probably I dunno, not in a much better position than he was in WWE.

He'd probably get more wins but less matches and less TV time so I dunno. I'd say Matt is actually relatively screwed lol, too bad. I think basically his career has been on one big downward slide ever since Edge screwed Lita, pretty fucking sad. I really loved when he was V1 though, I thought he was going to be the Hardy to make it.

Matt will probably be leaving WWE, but he doesn't need to go to TNA, and I'd prefer he didn't. That would give Jeff some permanence, and what he needs is to pass through and go on his way.

Why not let Matt go to ROH? He's worked in small companies before (OMEGA), and since he has a loyal core of fans, he's bring in some viewers, sell some merch, and finally put a band-aid on the bleed that ROH has, with their top guys heading for greener pastures.

Now I am going to sound negative here but before you jump the gun, hear me out.

The WWE have tried and at the same time has depushed Matt a lot. He apparently is not on Management favor ans has not been in quite a while.

His last big push was when he turned on his his brother and they screwed that one up big time by turning him again.

Now he also has had some issues, comming with his online comments or jokes, like on his "paying for the sins of the others" comment than he later explained in very deep detail being about a tip at a restaurant and that he knew everyone would react since Jeff had just left WWE.

I reall don't thing Vince is goingto punish Matt because of Jeff because on Vince's mind, Jeff jumped to a ship that is not even on his map yet, he proved that on Monday.

Besides, how can you punish Matt? he is on Midcard Hell already and not on top of it.

He porbably will be better of in TNA but maybe he won't, Don't tell me that after Monday you didn't see were TNA is heading? Right now only 3 guys are pretty much untochable there (Joe, Angle and AJ) but the rest would be put down by Hogan in no time (yes I am still freaking negative about it since if you look into it for real, and I know it was about Hogan's debut, it was all aobut Hogan and his old guard). Believe me, I never wanted to See Hogan mixing up with Jarret at WCW and I don't want to see it now, not by a long shot.

So for Matt to get over there I thing it would hard too since he would be looked as "Jeff's brother" and not as what he is by himself. The team now is not the same team that put Christian Cage as Main Eventer and he has so much faith on them than after a few years (it was what?, like 3?) he came back to the WWE to a lower place on the Card.

The only man that has really stick up with TNA is Angle and that is because, even if he is one of or maybe the Best in the World, he is has been overlooked plenty of times by the WWE for their requierements.

With Hogan it was pretty much the same, WWE wanted him for a one time only apperance and they started to hesitate about him and WM25, signal of the WWE not really wanted Hogan long term but to promote his DVD but nothing more.

So now that Hogan and all his friends are there lurking into Dixie's ear, the new guys will have it tougher than before and that will include Matt if he jumps.

Matt will probably go to TNA along with Helms maybe. I really don't see how TNA could use him with all the talent they have, but I'm sure they would find a way. I don't think WWE will punish Matt, but it doesn't seem like Matt Hardy is getting a push nowadays anyway.

Maybe WWE will compete with Jeff and push Matt Hardy now, but I doubt it. It seems that without Jeff, Matt doesn't really have a place in WWE.

Matt Hardy and Gregory Helms are rumored to be jumping ship. No big loss for the WWE if they did in my view.

A lot of people don't feel Matt's gotten the push or respect he deserves in the WWE. Well, I don't think respect for him is going to go up any if he heads to TNA to ride his brother's coat tails yet again. Outside of association with his brother, Matt Hardy's career just hasn't been all that memorable or great in my view. He's won a number of singles titles in the WWE that's true, but none of them have been particularly memorable to me or have ultimately done anything to advance his career. Matt Hardy just doesn't have the charisma or overall in-ring ability of his brother. The truth is, Matt needs Jeff but not the other way around.

I like the idea of Matt going over. However, WWE should use this to help push Matt instead of punish him. Have him call out Punk in some fashion, and say "I'm gonna do to you what Jeff couldn't, and that is beat you when it matters!" And let him actually win....it pushes him against a legit star, as well as gives him an aura of being better than Jeff (never said he was actually better, but if you push the angle like that, it can appear that way).

I think Vince will end up punishing him, but Matt has stayed in the company, is loyal, and deserves to have good things happen instead of being punished for something he didn't do.

I think it would be great for Matt if he did jump ship. In the WWE he is a small fish in a HUGE pond, and they've already established that Matt is nothing more than a mid-carder. Now in TNA, he is still a little fish, but he's in a sizeably smaller pond. He can work his ass off there, and I'm sure he would get rewarded in kind. This gets the approval from me, because in the WWE Matt doesn't have it. As they say though, one mans trash, is another mans treasure.
