Dream Theatre has to win this for the love of all things Rock. Prince was hardly rock. Great musician, but Dream Theatre rocked HARD and still stand today as one of the stalwarts of progressive rock. Their music is not just deep, it is EPIC. Their shows are like rock symphonies. They have stood on stages with some of the greatest guitarists of all time and raised their game to be equals. They have been called one of the deepest collections of talent by the likes of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.

Prince made a lot of headway on his unique looks and his odd mannerisms. Again, I am not discounting his musical talent, but in terms of musical ability, Prince cannot hold a candle to Dream Theatre.

Protect rock music - vote Dream Theatre!

How about the sickest drummer nobody has heard of, Mike Portnoy, who happens to be a good friend of Chris Jericho's...

Dream Theatre are so talented, top to bottom. Their music is truly epic - the 2 minute intros, solos, 3 minute bridges. These aren't songs or those with light attention spans, people, this is music for the ages. Prince shouldn't be this close.
