Ugh. Even more injustices damnit! Adam & the Ants were one of the best new-wave bands to ever emerge, whereas Quiet Riot are a one hit wonder best known for "Cum On Feel the Noize" (Look how they cleverly misspelled the title of the song! That's so metal!) and for having the awesome Randy Rhoads as their guitarist for a short while until Ozzy snatched him up.

Don't get me wrong, I actually like Quiet Riot. One of the very very few pop-metal/hair-metal bands of the 80s that I can listen to and enjoy. Their first album Metal Health was a good one, and is just the kind of trashy guilty pleasure that I like to indulge in every now and then.

But Adam & the Ants are simply a better band. They were one of the first New Wave bands to pop up in the British scene, and scored quite a few #1 Hit singles and #1 Hit albums in their short career. Besides that, they were just a great damn band, with the always entertaining Adam Ant fronting the band of course.

We need some more damn punk and new wave fans on this board, I'm tellin' ya...

If you love punk or new wave, give 'em a try. You might recall the last song from the movie SLC Punk.
