No love for Newhart? He was hilarious in his time, but I remember the 80's version of Newhart more than the original. This show deserves some cred here and should go farther than it will. Good show, but it's sequel was better. Still voting for The Bob Newhart Show though.

How the hell is Porridge not winning here? One of the Best Sitcoms of all time from Britain and deserves it recognition, this was one of the shows that proved how much of a legend Ronnie Barker is! Brits UNITE!

I'm with Phoenix 100%. Porridge was brilliant, as was Ronnie Barker. Every episode I've seen of it has been hilarious and smart. I still laugh whenever anyone mentions choc ices. Porridge is just a great show.
