'70's Disco Music

Downward Spiral

I'm Not From Your Country
Played in my workplace today. KC and the Sunshine Band to be specific.

Seriously...could disco ever come back?

A sudden spark in the popularity of the Disco Inferno would suggest this. Bring it back, Disco!

'70's disco would have been such a terrible, terrible era...let's bring it back.

I urge everyone to start listening to the Bee Gees, KC and the like whereever people are near...for freak-out value mostly.

Xfear, you know '70's disco music is your secret shame...

Just listen to House music. That is the natural progression of Disco music for what it is today. Just go out and listen to Ministry of Sound and you are sweet.

"And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then softly leave
And its me you need to show
HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE!"

LOL! Love it. A lot of people hated disco, but I think it was great. Since I never listen to the radio, I don't care what is trendy. My mp3 player is my lord.

"Shake shake shake...
shake shake shake...
SHAKE YOUR BOOTY! SHAKE YOUR BOOTY!"

"DO A LITTLE DANCE! MAKE A LITTLE NOISE! GET DOWN TONIGHT!"

:D

Anyone get the feeling recently that Ministry of Sound is more or less on autopilot at this point? Their compilations are getting BORING in my opinion... mostly they are just picking the top stuff off beatport, the minimal blippy junk, either that or commissioning dance cover versions of whatever crap is in the UK charts. Anyway. These days I prefer artist albums or compilations like this series (direct iTunes link) http://electricnation2010.com/tracks
