50's / 60's Region - Donna Reed Show vs Father Knows Best

Father Knows Best. I watched this show recently and it was better than I thought it would be. Most 50's/60's shows had a certain formula to it. To be family friendly, promote family values and to teach a valuable lesson at the end. This was one of those shows. I never watched the Donna Reed Show, so my vote's for Father Knows Best.

I'm going to go with Father Knows Best here. Why? Because I've never seen the Donna Reed Show, quite simple logic really. Father Knows Best was decent from what I remember seeing on TVLand, nothing to write home about, but atleast I've seen it. Kind of gets my vote by default.

I voted Father Knows Best, but it was because I have never watched the Donna Reed Show, or ever heard of it; Reason? Because it probably wasn't that good, or had the marketability to last 50 years. Father Knows Best did, and that is why people still watch it. Not to sure why, it was not a very good show as it is, and was just that stereotypical view of the 50s we all love to laugh at.
