Well, according to a friend, the latest edition of the WON had more information about the release of Ariel.
Apparently the incident with Batista had NOTHING to do with her firing. The decision to fire her had already been made before the incident happened. Apparently, it was mere coincidence that Ariel had the argument with Batista around the time she got fired.
She was fired because Stephanie did not think she had the "Diva look", and Vince McMahon did not like the idea of a "goth"/darker character. With Heyman gone, Ariel lost her biggest supporter.
Again, the argument with Batista had nothing to do with her firing.
With regards to the argument, Batista is said to have a negative attitude towards the women in the company, and Ariel apparently had had enough and argued with Batista.
There is no word on if Batista actually said anything to Ariel specifically or if it was to another diva, but Batista had made a comment, and Ariel didn't take to kindly to it
