I'm going to have to go with the Honeymooners here. Never has spousal abuse been so gut-bustingly funny, it's funny that a show that aired in the 50s would NEVER be able to get away with some of the stuff they said and did now a days. Usually it's the other way around.

Steptoe & Son? Never seen it. Leave It to Beaver? Pretty bad. Let's go Ralph Kramden!

Oh man this is The Honeymooners all day and all night here. Never heard of Steptoe and Son, and Leave it to Beaver I never really enjoyed. However, The Honeymooners was a show my father and I used to watch all the time as a kid and always crack jokes about smacking a person to the moon. Great show, the comedy was over the top and would drive the FCC absolute bat shit if it were converted to today's standards.
