What a thread. It's a shame this won't get the biggest of reactions, and a lot of people will just vote for Ghostbusters. But Roger Rabbit is more than it's equal. It's a film noir cartoon, which is by far the more intresting film idea of the two.

Bob Hoskins interacts better with the cartoons than the whole of the Ghostbusters do with the Ghosts. Both are buddy movies, but one character is a buddy with the central gimmick.

Two of my all time favorites. Whenever an actor can put on a performance like that while talking to air, its nothing short of impressive. Ghostbusters is a great film all around also. It just works on all levels. The cast is dead on and the lines are legendary. I'm leaning towards Roger, but its not guaranteed. Neither deserves to go home yet. Ghostbusters is to me the best 80s comedy ther eis, while Roger is jsut a great film all around in what is accomplished.

Ghostbusters is a good film, that is for sure, it is funny,... funny.... and made a lot of childhoods what they are. But Who Framed Roger Rabbit was a lot better of a film. RR was such a neat film to watch as a kid. I had it on VHS and would always plug that thing in when I was sick. As a boy, who was interested in toy guns and such, I loved the scene where he took out his animated gun with the bullets that were alive. Wow that movie brings back memories. If It does win here, Ill be happy, but I can't see it moving much further.
