There are no official reviews out for the Wonder Woman film yet, however, DC has had an advanced screening for critics and reports are saying that what little they have heard from the critics is extremely positive. There's an embargo in effect right now so there will be no official reviews until probably a week or so before the movie is to come out. The whispers that everyone is hearing, though are all positive and one critic even went so far as to say that this film will easily have over an 80% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and that it may save the DCEU.

This makes me very excited to see this film. Even more so then I already was and I hope that they're right. What do you guys think?

Add in previews and that's more like 160. Not 3 hours, but close.

I can't stand those ridiculous previews. I shouldn't be able to get to a movie twenty minutes late and not miss a single bit of the film.

I'm excited to see how Phenom attempts to spin WW as a great movie if it turns out to be a stinker just like everything else DC has done since Dark Knight Rises.

I'm interested to see what movies you think I've tried to spin for DC? I think the only movie that I defended on the forums that was panned by critics was BvS and that was only the ultimate edition. I dare you to find another one. I actually praise Marvel for their films more than I do DC.

    Pay more attention.

The "Ultimate" edition was worse than the theatrical release. I never need to see an additional piss-poor 30 or however many minutes added onto a bad film.

Definitely not rooting for this to fail, though. I want these DC movies to not suck ass.

I see this more as "Captain America First Avenger" but in WW1. Should be straight forward and at least better then previous two movies that didnt really know what they are. But lets wait and see, have no doubt Snyder and co will find a way to ruin it. Snyder is great visual director. Unfortunately, he sucks when it comes to story even when he could just follow the great lunatic Alan Moore like in "Watchmen". Gadot will be just fine, no doubt in that. Still think its failure to cast someone without tatas as Wonder Woman, but she did good job in BvS.

Snyder isn't directing Wonder Woman. Patti Jenkins is. She's a pretty good director and story teller.

Snyder had a hand in writing it. Hence my comment about him and storytelling and my skepticism about story.

I did not know that he helped write it. Damn, that kind of takes my excitement down a few pegs.

I wouldn't put too much stock in early reactions or the Tomatometer. Things usually change, when the bulk of the reviews start pouring in. From what I remember, Alien: Covenant was somewhere in the 80%-85% range, and now it has a 75%. It's similar to the commercials, where they pull all the quotes from the positive reviews to hype up the movie before the release date.

I'm hoping for the best with Wonder Woman, and so far it looks better than Justice League.

Word on the film is still very very positive. So much so that analyst have actually risen the figures that they project the movie will make during opening weekend from 65 million domestically to 85-100 million domestically.

Wonder Woman might actually save the DCEU.

Batman vs. Superman and Suicide Squad are both turds but made money, so I'm not sure Warner and DC think they need saving. They'll be happy to sit alongside Transformers and Pirates of the Caribbean as films that inexplicably make lots of money, despite only 5 people liking them.

The review embargo has lifted and official reviews are pouring in and.......they're even better than I thought they'd be. As of me writing this, Wonder Woman has a 95% on Rotten Tomatoes. Of course as more reviews come in that rating will inevitably go down, but as of now it appears Wonder Woman is far and away the best film of the DCEU (Which, admittedly, isn't really high praise). All that's left now is to see the movie for myself and of course make up my own mind. I'm more excited now then I've ever been.
