This may already been said and I miss it, but why hasn't Vince McMahon been put into the Hall of Fame yet? Because he owns the company? It sure isn't because his ego he keeps himself out. But look at the facts.

Announcers are in, he's announced. ✅

Managers are in. He's managed at several ways technically. ✅

Owners are in (Vince sr...). He OWNS wwe, wcw, ECW, and everything.

He's a film producer owning WWE Films with several movies.

He's revolutionized the wrestling industry, pop culture, and manufactured the purchase of wcw with the live simulcast.

His flagship show Monday Bight Raw is the longest running episodic show of all time.

His wrestling career. He's a 2 time WWF Champion. Winner of the Royal Rumble. And was part of the 2000 Wrestlemania main event.

I know he's not in because his own choice but why? He could be in the celebrity wing or superstar wing.

I'm fairly certain when he finally retires he will go into the HOF. Maybe after he passes? It would be hard not to ever induct him.

He'll go in when he retires or passes away. It's obvious why.

I think he will surely be inducted to WWE Hall Of Fame after he passes away. No way he is gonna retire and no way they induct him then.

If they don't put him in in the next few years, then wait till he passes away. I don't want to see a senile old Vince McMahon up on stage recounting his days of glory over the last 50 years. I think someone like HHH or Stephanie could do him much more justice. As someone else said Vince will never fully retire, so he will go in posthumously.

He doesn't want to be inducted. He has refused it several times. He doesn't want himself or the Mr. McMahon character to be inducted, allegedly even after he passes away (which I hope is a very long time away.)

Probably because it would be an omission that he's in the twilight of his career, that he's in decline and sailing off into the sunset. We're talking about the 70 year old man who just the other week refereed a match with his guns out. HOF induction puts him in the same boat as others under his former employ.

I don't think Vince goes in while he's above ground, just as he likely won't stop being head of WWE until he stops. I don't if he became physically unable to do so, that they would parade him out like that.

Vince will want to be remembered as muscular and strong. If anything, I could see them inducting the Mr. McMahon character as a means of retiring him, but Mr. McMahon is part of the main storyline on WWE TV presently, do they want to call attention to it being old?

Vince McMahon will be one of the biggest HOF inductions of all time, but it happens the first WrestleMania after his passing. My great Uncle is 91 and still gardens and lives alone, so we could have another 20+ years of Vince ahead of us.

Vince himself has come right out and said, believe it or not, that he doesn't feel that he belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame. Now as to why exactly he allegedly feels that way, I'm not certain because you have to admit that his "Mr. McMahon" character may well have been the single biggest and most over heel character in American wrestling for my entire lifetime. I mean, when you consider the various "celebrity inductees" that many will argue the vast majority of them don't "deserve", you have to wonder why Vince feels he shouldn't be in there.

My guess is that Vince, again, believe it or not, doesn't want to be the centerpiece of the night when it comes to the HOF. I may be entirely wrong but it's the only thing I can think of. Would people buy tickets to see him inducted? Absolutely. I mean...who knows, Vince may actually drop the character and behave like an actual human being. While we all usually give Vince crap for one thing or another constantly, he's not this ruthless, maniacal ogre that we sometimes paint him as backstage. I mean...let's be honest, if anybody was as bad as we've all sometimes made Vince out to be, then nobody would be able to work for the guy.

Vince will go in, however, at some point in time though I think it'll happen after he dies.

Yes, well, both events will be concurrent, anyway. The only thing that will make him retire is death, so......

If Vince really has been refusing induction, I give him credit for humility. Owning the company and throwing his own name in the hat for an internal Hall of Fame....all the names being picked by himself....... is a little too self-serving for me.

I see Vince's induction as the biggest ceremony ever. So it'll be done after his death by Linda, Shane, Stephanie, and Trip!me H...

When Vince dies an entire year of programming let alone the HOF ceremony will rightfully be dedicated to him and him alone.

I always though that Vince feels that his work isn't done yet. Of course, I'm speculating. But he seems like the sort of person who doesn't like the adulation or reward until his task or priority is finally complete. When he retires, I'm positive that he will get the nod into the Hall of Fame. But until that day, Vince isn't going to take the credit for what he deems to be a job half done.
