Tito Ortiz Arrested for Domestic Violence

TMZ has learned Tito Ortiz was just arrested for felony domestic violence at the home he shares with Jenna Jameson.

We're told when cops arrived at the couple's home in Huntington Beach, CA -- Jenna Jameson had "visible injuries."

We're told someone called 911 today at 9:53 AM and reported a "disturbance."

Tito is currently in custody and on his way to a Huntington Beach jail in Orange County, CA.

Tito and Jenna are not married -- but they have twin boys together.

Oh boy way to go Tito, with this story coming out could it be possible that his career is over? He has his health issues already, and now this coming about. If he were to get jail time, who knows how long, he would probably face a suspension from some athletic commission, and UFC or even fired by them. I find it odd that this happend since there was never no talk of them fighting, they always seemed more than smitten when shown together, and talked highly of each other. I just hope this isn't the end for him, really wanted to see him fight a few more times.

Fighting back tears, a clearly emotional Jenna was driving away from her home in Huntington Beach, CA moments ago -- when she stopped and told our photog, "I'm gonna be alright."

Jenna -- who was wearing giant sunglasses -- continued, "My babies are alright ... everything's OK .. he's in jail."

Jenna was accompanied by her father -- the man who we've learned made the initial call to 911.

This isn't very good for Tito. At his age and with these sorts of allegations his fight career could very well be over. Also, with all the talk about him leaving the Ultimate Fighter early this could also be the beginning of the end for him and his working relationship with the UFC. Depending on if this is true or not the UFC may need to do some damage control because I doubt they want to be connected to a women beater. Then again it may not bother them enough to release him, but just suspend him.

I don't really think Tito is going to do anytime or anything but his reputation or personality is going to take a major hit. I wouldn't be surprised in the least bit if the fans turned against him even more then they have. I personally feel as though we will see Tito fight one more time at least but only time will tell. Hopefully, this is just something that has been blown out of proportion and isn't as true as it seems.

Damn, Edwin Valero murdering his wife and hanging himself, and Tito Ortiz beating up a pornstar? The fighting world is not looking too good right now, thank god Mosley-Mayweather is this Saturday. Maybe the buzz of the fight will drown out the roars over these incidents. I'm not exactly shocked, I mean the guy is fighter with a big ego, as are many. I don't see it out of the realm of possibility for a guy who beats people up for a living, and tears off doors on tv in fits of rage. Maybe it's just me, lol.

As much as I wanted to wait for the full story to come out, I felt the need to put how I feel about this right now. Tito Ortiz was my favorite fighter, and I respected him. Not only as a fighter, but as a man. After reading his book I felt like he deserves all of the success hes gotten. Hes an inspiration. While I still feel this way I believe he fucked up. Big. It seems like he just grabbed Jenna on the arm very roughly from the pictures I saw, but still it's low to do something like that. I am firmly against hitting women, even if he only grabbed her arm. Tito has stooped low in doing this. For whatever reason he has it's not right. Again i'm hoping theres more to the story, but as of right now Tito has lost a lot of respect in my book.

UFC honcho Dana White tells TMZ Tito Ortiz could be booted from the organization if the domestic violence charges against him prove legit.

White says, "We're gonna be fair, but we could cut him."

White wants to wait until the police reports are in, but the UFC can take action even before the legal process runs its course. "Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you," White says.

I think Tito should absolutely be cut from the UFC. You don't beat a woman, period, and now with the Valero situation still fresh in the minds of the media, it looks even worse than how it would have been to begin with. The UFC needs to cut ties with Tito. Its bad enough that the Rampage incident is still very much fresh in the eyes of the general public, and War Machine got some major attention for what he did a few weeks ago as well with the whole spitbag situation. The sport doesn't need an association with thuggery, when for the most part, most of the fighters are very well behaved and very well-adjusted guys.

If Dana doesn't cut Tito, not only would it be difficult to promote his next fight, but it would also give him no credibility, because there would be jokes like "the only fight he's won in the last few years has been against his wife...", so on and so forth. Tito going down during the filming of TUF was a blessing in disguise now. How in god's name could the UFC promote a fight with a guy who beats his pornstar girlfriend up in the main event?

It's a shame Tito had to stoop this low. I enjoy watching his fights, and I think he's a real good fighter. I thought he showed against Forrest that he still had something left in his gas tank. Now with this happening, I can't see there being an outcome where Tito stays on with the company.

Well Guy, we haven't heard the facts yet, so we can't be for sure on anything.

But regardless, this sucks. Just Saturday Tito was tweeting all day, coaching his 7-year-old son in his first wrestling event. His last post was him about to get on a plane and saying how much he missed Jenna.

I was never a fan of Tito going out with her. Dating a porn star just makes you look bad, and you're asking for trouble. But, it seemed like they had a great relationship, so over the years I stopped caring about it. However, you just had to know sooner or later this was going to end badly, and now it has.

So, whatever... I won't judge the situation until I hear all the facts. Either way it is an unfortunate situation, and if Tito gets cut because of it... you cannot blame Dana White for it.

Just like all of you, I'm waiting for the true facts too come out.

Tito must be feeling like crap and I mean for a long time. Being sick, his TUF rumors, and now this? How much negativety can one take? I'm a slight Tito fan. Ya, he has his douchey moments, but I can't doubt that he is an exciting fighter. Besides, I always thought his smack talk was just an act to gain hype for his fights.

If indeed the allegations are true, then I hope Tito gets his. Domestic violence is just a bitch move. I have little to no respect to men that would hurt a woman. Tito will be no exception. If Dana White cuts Tito, then it would be reasonable. The UFC/MMA does not need or want this type of publicity.

This is kind of a surprise. When I look at their relationship, they seem very happy with eachother. It seemed like Tito was going to "pop the question" sometime soon. They already have children together. I guess you never can tell what goes on behind closed doors.

I haven't seen anything and have tried to trail for updates for about 2 hours and yet it seems to be abit slowed down. I think that if given Tito's first criminal history.

Tito Ortiz. Born Jacob Ortiz on January 23, 1975, the Mixed Martial Artist was arrested today for domestic violence against Jameson. Photos showed Jenna Jameson wearing a cast on her arm. Now, new court records show that Tito Ortiz has a previous arrest for battery with bodily injury.

The court records were filed under Tito Ortiz’ birth name: Jacob Christopher Ortiz. Tito Ortiz was sentenced to three years probation. Ortiz served 29 days in jail and performed 232 hours of community service. The records also state that he was charged with assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm, yet he was found not guilty on those charges.

Showing he has a suspended 3 year sentence for basically the same charge he might be facing now...... isn't going to help him in his case, even if innocent in this case he will have to prove himself out of jail because when it comes to battery and violence against women and given his history, he will be guilty until proven innocent.

So after reading more into the story on TMZ, Tito is now alleging that Jenna has a oxycontin problem and that he never put a finger on her, and that her injury was from her being high on the drugs and she injured herself. After viewing the videos on TMZ she definitely looked high on something, but also could be from the emotional distress she's going through. Now Im not one to put a title on people because of what they do as a profession but it doesnt seem to far fetched for a porn star to have a drug problem, in most cases any female that gets into always has some sort of personal issues going on, and you read how alot of them have drug problems.
Now watching Tito and his attorney talk about it how much he was upset, Im starting to believe Tito in this case. Even Tito's ex wife of 10 years said he was never violent in way towards her. This could all be an out for him to get off the hook but, like I said Im starting to believe Tito on this one. Guess we gotta wait for even more to come out.

Cut the guy. The sport has enough trouble gaining mainstream praise. It's much better than it has been in the past and is still improving, but shit like this is going to set the image of mma back 20 years. Any other athlete in an other sport would be punished so there's no reason for Tito getting off clean. Of course they need to wait for all of the facts to come in as I'm sure there is a lot to the story. If everything turns out to be the way it seems right now then give Tito his papers. He isn't really a draw anymore and I gaurentee his paycheck is much bigger than it should be. I was never personally a fan of the guy. Like, at all. So I wouldn't lose sleep over the loss. From unbiased eyes, I don't see him having any good fights at LHW anyway.

Jenna, who accused Tito of injuring her during an argument, now tells TMZ, "What actually happened has now been dramatically distorted and misinterpreted and remarks that both Tito and I made after the police arrived reflect the state of shock that we were both in." Translation -- he didn't hurt me.

As for Tito, we're told he's now backing off what he strongly insinuated ... that Jenna is an OxyContin addict. We're told Tito's position now is that he found two OxyContin pills and may have jumped to conclusions. Jenna says the pills were very old. And, as we first reported, Jenna tested negative for drugs this week.

Tito's lawyer, Chip Matthews, tells TMZ the whole thing was "a big misunderstanding."

One more thing ... Sources say Tito stands to lose $15 million if he's prosecuted for domestic violence -- the money accounts for his UFC contract as well as other businesses.

This is just getting crazy. I cant say that if Jenna decides to drop the charges that it will mean the DA of California well stop its investigation on the matter on both sides especailly since they have kids together and with it being a domestic violence. I hope that it just turns out to be one big misunderstanding for the both of them. Whether or not any of their allegations on each other were true, lets hope they both can just walk away from it, keep it out of the spotlight and go seek some serious counseling since something was definitely wrong that day. Like I said before we never heard of any problems between the two of them.
