You knew it had to be me to do this. Do we expect a winner? No. But we do expect to create hell and havoc throughout the tournament. Jerry Lynn is my prize fighter, and most of you new guys don't know I pushed him to one hell of a match against HBK in this thing.

Who's your dog in the fight?

If I was going to pick an ECW guy, I would support RVD or Tommy Dreamer.

Anybody not named Shane Douglas. Although his WWE run was weak, Taz.

As a Jerry Lynn supermark, I can't vote RVD over Lynn, but I will support him like crazy. Dreamer as well, if he's in.

Don't hate :suspic: He was the man in ECW, before guys like RVD and the Dudleys took over.

How can I forget, he still tells people to this day about how he threw the title down. We get it, you put Eastern Championship Wrestling on the map, it's 2012 you can stop telling us now!

Also, I just generally dislike the dude. His attitude towards legends like Ric Flair, Ricky Steamboat and Dusty Rhodes is disgraceful. It wasn't their fault Douglas can't work a gimmick to save his life, unless it's shooting on everyone he has a problem with.

And Hogan Flair, HHH, and others don't still talk about their accomplishments from yesteryear? Itr's what old guys in the business do. They hang on to what made them famous.

I liked his attitude. It was different at the time. He was an asshole that you loved to hate, especially during the shit with the Pitbulls. He was also the "founder" of the Triple Threat, and helped get TNA on the map. Whatever you think of him, he put his stamp on wrestling history.

This isn't a popularity contest either. He was a good wrestler, and did well with the hardcore environment. He's well-rounded and may pull an upset or two.

I can see why Hogan may repeat Bodyslamming Andre the Giant but that was genuinely historic and goes much further than the realm of professional wrestling. Douglas however, threw a belt down and talked a lot of shit about people who didn't give a shit about him to begin with.

The guy is like that small terrier that humps on your leg, and when you don't respond he bites you to get your attention, but all it takes is a stare and he's walking away.

I do enjoy disliking him, I'll give you that much. He did okay in TNA, not half as much as guys like Jarrett, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Sting etc, etc. But he played his part. I'm sure he may pull off a win, depending on who he's drawn against. But the minute he is up against a stalworth midcard guy like say an Owen Hart or even a Dean Malenko, he'll be blown out of the water.

RVD, even though he's been a sub-par performer ever since joining TNA.

I'm extremely sad that Jerry Lynn drew Mick Foley in the first round. It breaks my heart, but at least another extreme guy will move on...

And to think, I seeded him as #1 on my list...

Shane Douglas versus Verne Gagne in the ECW Region?? I can almost make a compelling argument there...
