It tickles me that this party is hated so much because it is immensely popular. Then again, that's the name of the game. It just smacks of jealousy to me.
Coco and I may disagree on things from time to time, but his mission makes sense. There should not be any real reason for the party to be hated.

What exactly is his mission?
Freedom to recognize that more than just one person has a beard around here.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Great White Sam again.Let me just explain something - being a mod is not difficult. Being a moderator is not a hugely specialised job that requires a specific skill set. This isn't an election to name a new forum neurosurgeon or rocket engineer. If I had to conduct an interview with a prospective moderator, I'd have two questions:
I'd hazard that all and any candidates are entirely qualified for the position of moderator on that basis - unless we have some monkeys-chained-to-a-typewriter quantum events occurring. Driving discussion? No. Just no. As Luther used to say, anyone can do that, moderator or not; that doesn't require additional account permissions. In fact, I'd rather prospective candidates promise not to drive discussion, because it'll usually just lead to them spunking a bunch of obnoxious uniform threads out. As far as I can tell, the key to a long, successful career as moderator is to just merge enough threads and infract enough posters a week so as to look busy.
- Are you at least semi-literate?
- Do you understand how to turn on a computer?
Coco The Monkey is the best poster of any of the candidates. Coco The Monkey has the best - and most realistic - mission statement out of any of the candidates. Coco The Monkey is the poster I like most out of any of the candidates.
You're not being realistic.I want to see discussions in forums, and people's posts not deleted because it might veer off topic a touch. Discussions are fun and can help keep interest in a boring forum.
I want to see discussions happen based on an idea. Just because there is already a "ALL JOHN CENA DISCUSSIONS HERE" thread, I dont want to see my thread get buried because I mention John Cena in it, when the entire thing has nothing to do about John Cena, it just involves him.
I want to see punishment for posters who have this "holier than thou" mentality on here and constantly flame users for their OPINIONS. Calling someone dumb or stupid or just basically trashing them isn't necessary.
I want to see people like Slyfox and D-Man out of position because they feel that they can run these forums to their own discretion and power.
I have stayed away from these boards because of these points. It has gotten to a point where I dont want to come on here because all the fun has gone away. These boards were made to have DISCUSSIONS. Yes, having 20 posts about John Cena is annoying, but if it doesn't really pertain to him then it shouldn't get merged into 1 grouping.
If you can promise me all of these things then you have my vote...but I plan to hear EVERYONE out.
