Let's get crazy! It's one of the most colorful matches of the first round as the maniacal monkey menace Mojo Jojo teams with the man they call Freakazoid to take on the greedy Wario and the man with the movie man Viewtiful Joe. There are sure to be fireworks in this one, but only one team can advance.

Ummm, wow. How to you justify any argument for either of these teams when it's just a bunch of nutjobs running around, talking in silly voices and saying stupid catchphrases?

Mojo and Wario are virtually talentless in terms of battle, both of them being regularly bested by their protagonist counterparts. So they'd just end up in a slapping match in the corner while the real action happened.

Joe and Freakazoid are kind of badasses. Freakazoid has a number of decent but basic super powers, but he never really excelled at any of them, they were all just there. Joe, meanwhile, would slow down time, send fifty punches into Freakazoid's face for the win.
