    Basic Guidelines:
    1. First Round matches are conducted under basic WWE singles match rules - the really inconsistent ones you see on television weekly.
    2. Polls will open after - approximately - twenty-four hours.
    3. Vote how you like, by whatever criteria you like.
    4. Strictly no alts.
    5. No regions, no arenas, no gimmicks (for now) - everything is based on merit.

    Match Five
SHAWN MICHAELS & THE GREAT KHALI
    "Heartbreak Playboys"
    vs.
THE UNDERTAKER & BAM BAM BIGELOW
    "Demons of the East"

I don't really care for the nicknames of either of these teams, but there you go - you can't win them all. Indeed, neither of these teams can win them all. One of them must lose. Undertaker and Michaels finally meet in something other than a fucking semi-final too.

I like Bigelow, but he's a nobody. The Great Khali, however, is a nobody with accolades. Go away, Irish, I don't give a fuck what titles Vader won for Bigelow in Japan. I'm only interested in real wrestling, WWE wrestling.

Khali easily beats Bigelow. Undertaker vs. HBK is up for debate. A boring one most likely. I've read it all before. The Hell In A Cell match shits all over the Mania ones by the way.

I'd imagine that The Great Khali in his prime - you know, when he was better than everyone on the WWE roster with the possible exception of John Cena - would probably have little problem defeating Bigelow and Undertaker by himself.

Shawn - for all his really good matches, the twat - is the weak link on that team. He was never as competitive with The Undertaker as Khali was. That is to say that he never really beat The Undertaker, which Khali did, convincingly.

Bigelow's alright, you know. I liked his match with Taz. Impressive big man, but most big men are impressive big men in wrestling.

Don't know who I'll be voting for. I'll go with the theory that it'd be Michaels who'd get pinned.

Khali in his prime could hold his own with anyone including Taker and we all know how great HBK is. Taker is a beast and a legend but his partner will let him down in this one. I liked Bigelow but he is highly overrated by a lot of people on these forums. He never really won anything of note outside of Japan and he'll get pinned in this match.

I agree, really weak names here. The first one really should be changed to HBKhali. A fantastic name, in my opinion. I'd also really enjoy seeing a team including the Great Khali go far in this tournament. That's always fun. But will it happen?

It's assumed that Khali has dominated Undertaker. As much as I'd like to believe that, it's not really the truth. Aside from that first encounter at Judgement Day 06 (Great PPV), Khali hasn't beaten him in any kind of match. In fact, he's lost 7 in a row. Yikes. Taker has had Michaels' number as well, which everyone knows.

Bigelow doesn't have much history with any of the men in this match, but one could only assume that he probably wouldn't fair that well.

In the end, I think I'm going with HBKhali on the basis that they have great chemistry because they were victorious while teamed together at Surivor Seris 2008.

Taker has gotten the best of both Shawn and Khali multiple times within the past few years. Shawn's wins were both flukes and Taker probably could win this match on his own. Bigelow is decent enough to not hold this team back. None really was a great tag-team wrestler, although DX > BOD. However, Taker's dominace and Khali's shittiness is enough to give the Demon's of the East the victory.

I decided to vote for the Undertaker and BB Bigelow to defeat HBK and Khali. As others have suggested, it's really a toss-up between Taker and Michaels, with it coming down mostly to personal preference, on which basis I would select Taker who I prefer over the Heartbreak Kid.

I've never really been impressed with the Great Khali. Sure he's a huge man, but his movement is poor and I find him boring in the ring. Plus his failure to speak in English annoys me somewhat; it was more acceptable when he was heel, but as a face, when he is unable to cut a promo, that's problematic for me. Bigelow was agile in the ring for a man his size and was a tough SOB as well. I would give the nod to Bigelow over Khali, with a virtual dead heat between HBK and Taker.

One can say that Undertaker had the best match of his career against Kurt Angle at No Way Out in 2006. A few months later Khali pinned the Undertaker with one foot. I will take the prime Khali over any other version. We all know how resilient HBK can be given the occasion so I'm leaning slightly towards HBK and Khali.

I'd just like to say that whoever says that would have to be classified as a fool, or something resembling one, at least. Decent match, but to say it's the best of Taker's career is just asinine.

When Khali did beat Taker, it was utter domination. Go watch that match, again. I urge you, it's surreal. That's how you put on a beatdown, Mr. Barrett. I suppose you could use this utter domination as an excuse for all the other loses. I will, as I'm still supporting HBKhali all the way.

Well the Undertaker and Michaels will cancel each other out as both have had similar accolades with singles and tag team sucess and hold victories over the other. I think this will come down to Khali vs Bigelow who I will give the edge to Khali. Khali holds decisive victories over the Undertaker, Kane, and Batista. I think Bam Bam will be caught with a SCM and then lifted up for a Khali Bomb to end the match.

Undertaker and Bigelow would beat most teams by overpowering them, but they aren't going to do that to Khali. Plan B would be Bigelow's speed, but he isn't faster than Michaels. Bigelow never really beat any of the big names, whereas, for a period, Khali was unstoppable. I think Khali's main drawback is that he isn't the stamina king, but Michaels, master of resiliance is his partner. I expect Khali and Michaels to win here.
