The current voting depresses me.
The problem with Raging Bull is the problem I have with all biopics or true stories, it's that the story already exists. For me it really takes away from the creative aspect and becomes just an imitation, much like a cover record.
I can't add much more to The Tree of Life than I said in the previous round. What I would say is that it gets accused of nothing happening which is really a gross injustice. It's simply that the scale of it's focus is so large and all-encompassing that by showing you life itself, it feels like you could just be watching your neighbours instead of a focused drama detailing one aspect of their lives.
