I will chose the TLC 3 match and will go first.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the WWE's history, there have been 3 TV TLC matches, 2 of them being tag-team matches. Of those 2, the match that I chose, TLC III, which featured The Hardy's, Dudley's, Edge & Christian, and Chris Benoit & Chris Jericho, is the beter match of the two, for two reasons.
Reason #1: It featured ACTUAL Tag Teams In TLC III you have 3 recognizable tag-teams with Edge & Christian, The Dudley Boys, and the Hardyz, along with two guys who were regularly teaming up together at that time, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho. The first 3 teams that I mentioned were now TLC veterans and were capable of putting on a memorable ladder matches. Remember Edge's spear on Jeff at WM 17? Of course you do. How about Hardy's swanton from the ladder during the first TLC match? Yes, you know what I'm talking about. And it's not like Jericho & Benoit didn't know how to work a ladder, either. Actually, the two had a ladder match against each other only a few months prior at that year's Royal Rumble. You put all four of these teams in a match and you just know the action is gonna be great and that you won't be able to leave your seat. As for the other match, you had 2 thrown together teams of RVD and Jeff Hardy and Chris Jericho & Christian, Bubba Ray Dudley was more known with tagging with Devon then Spike, and Kane was by himself. Not one team is currently notable in the WWE history books, unlike 3 of the 4 teams in TLC III. In short, this match was nothing more then a bunch of guys thrown together trying to beat the shortarmed tag-team champion.
Reason #2: The match didn't bury the other 3 teams TLC 4 saw Kane, singlehandedly, defeat the other 3 teams in the match. While that puts Kane over rather nicely, it puts the other 3 teams as a joke because he dominated each of them and didn't even need the Hurricane to win the match. Right at the beginning of the match he dominated and was in contention throughout. Kane singlehandedly buried the entire RAW tag-team division just by winning the match. Who's gonna take any of the other 3 teams seriously when one guy, who didn't have any ladder match experience beforehand, defeated them, even though each of them had at least slight ladder match experience.
TLC 3 saw Austin/McMahon on a power trip, trying to do anything they could to get the belts off of Jericho & Benoit. And it looked like they would for a while when Benoit was knocked out. Nobody thought the champs had a chance after Benoit went down, especially with the teams that they were going against. They suspended your belief, which is what wrestling is supposed to do. But then Benoit came back, despite being hurt, and fought as hard as he could to make sure that his team kept the titles, which put him over as a never quitting babyface. It helped put Benoit & Jericho over and it didn't put any of the other 3 teams down, because Benoit didn't come out and start hitting finisher after finisher and taking each team out. No, he got smacked around by chairs by E&C and risked it all to keep his titles. No one got buried in TLC 3.
