Christian and Del Rio trade blows, and eventually take the battle to the entrance ramp, where Christian knocks Alberto Del Rio into the crowd with a ladder. Brodus Clay then attacks Christian and throws him into the steps. Ricardo Rodriguez then tries to climb the ladder but Christian pulls him down. Del Rio locks in the armbar on Christian, who escapes by pulling a ladder on Del Rio. the two brawl on top of the Ladder, before Christian hits a Killswitch and a diving headbutt from the ladder. He climbs the ladder and pulls the title down.
