Predict the Final 8

There is still some time to go on most of the fourth round matches but all of them are looking more and more clear cut as time goes by. For that reason, I thought it might be fun to try and predict how the quarter-finals, semi-finals and grand final might go. If the voting gives us the same winners as is projected at the moment, these will be the final 4 matches and region finals:

Bret Hart versus Chris Jericho
Triple H versus Bruno Sammartino
Kurt Angle versus Andre The Giant
The Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar​

It is worth mentioning that only 2 of the competitors left in the tournament have been winners before - Andre the Giant last year and The Undertaker in the 2nd Annual Tournament. We don't know, obviously, what the stipulations will be for the next set of matches but let's assume that they are all singles matches with no stipulations added.

Who comes out victorious? This is my bracket prediction:

Kurt Angle versus Andre The Giant
The Undertaker versus Brock Lesnar​

Chris Jericho versus Triple H
Kurt Angle versus Brock Lesnar​

For me, if Triple H gets past Bret or Jericho in the next round, he will go on and win the whole tournament. He has a known pedigree (pun not intended) of going over the guys who he will meet on route to the final and that even includes Brock Lesnar.

I think this is the year of Angle. There is just something about the way the people are voting this year that tells me it's going that way.
