I've never been a supporter for allowing wrestlers to participate in matches while sporting their piercing studs, rings and ect. Sure, it's their look and personal statement, but it has no place in the ring, at least during matches. I think people like R-Truth and CM Punk should lose the facial jewelry when wrestling for two reasons. 1) It's ludicrous to believe that in a bitter fight, their opponent would not rip them off to get an advantage. 2) It's actually dangerous, put too much pressure on a headlock , twist a bit, and you'd have some some serious bleeding. What do you think ?

Yeah, especially R-Truth's eyebrow rings. If they get caught in the ropes then he's fucked.

Piercings can really ruin someone during a match. What if CM Punk is in the main event of WrestleMania? What if he is just about to hit the GTS and win the WWE Championship? But then, all of the sudden his lip ring, or some other piercing gets caught either on his opponent, or the ropes, and they rip it right out! Blood everywhere, its live so no do overs. CM Punk has to go to the hospital, and lets say Randy is the champ. Randy was supposed to drop it to Punk, but now that Punk is in the hospital, WrestleMania has been ruinined, Randy Orton loses it to Punk later that year on a non major PPV. CM Punk's WrestleMania moment is gone. Punk doesn't get to have the experience of winning in the main event of WrestleMania, and Punk will be out for a while.
