Batista is the most dominant performers of this era, where he has 6 world title reigns under his belt, beaten the likes of John Cena, Triple H, Chris Jericho, Undertaker, JBL, the list goes on.

Beefcake's stint was riding the coat tails of Hulkamania, have a mediocre segment show on the side, and be shit in WCW as "The Booty Man".

It's no contest here. Batista Bomb is on the way.

Sorry, I have to go against logic here again. "The Barber" was one of my faves as a kid.

He was actually very well over with that gimmick, and let's not forget he was one half of a very legendary Dream Team back in the day with Valentine. That team was a big deal back then. Don't neglect his early years before he became "The Disciple". He also went through a hellacious boating accident that crushed his face but took it in stride and was back before you knew it.

So I'm going to suspend belief here and say that a freshly gimmicked "Barber" finds a way to pull off an upset and shaves Batista's cranium before Big Dave even thinks to do it himself.

Batista would crush Brutus Beefcake. "The Barber" is a Legend but he is the one that get's "cut up" in this match.

I look at this as a basic squash match. Batista wins by using just a couple moves. He obviously ends this with a massive Batista Bomb and puts down Beefcake pretty easily.

I would never say anything bad about Beefcake, he deserves a level of respect for what he overcame in his career. But his accomplishments fail to make a dent in what Batista has done. Plus, one being "over" in general plays a major part in these matches. As popular as he was, he was never considered a HUGELY valuable part of the company, at least compared to Batista's worth.

Batista wins this in an absolute squash match against a guy who would never have amounted to anything in the wrestling business had he not been Hulk Hogan's bag carrier.

I never saw anything from Beefcake that impressed me, and I even despise the man's ringname.

No way in hell can I vote against Big Dave in this one. Batista Bomb for the win inside 3 minutes, and then Brutus gets his mullet chopped by the Animal

Who then powerbombs him again just for being shit.

As terrible as I found Batista to be up until his last two months with the WWE, he goes over here, and probably not as quickly as he should.

For some reason, Brutus was always booked like a badass. He main evented Starrcade back in 1994 (in one of the worst matches I have ever seen) and that still totally blows my mind. I understand it was all Hogan, but really? Brutus??

Batista should destroy him inside of 3 minutes, but with backstage help from lasts 7. Batista, and it's not close.

I was really leaning towards voting for Brutus, but after reading all of the posts, my memory has been jogged. I always thought Beefcake was fairly entertaining, but wasn't very good in the ring. Batista was no ringmaster either, but I think the Batista bomb finishes off Brutus. Had Batista had any charisma on the mic, aside from his last little run, I wouldn't have hesitated, but (even though his is one of the many books I've read) he consistently bored me to tears. Oh well, Big Dave gets the win here.

Batista is a monster and should have little trouble with Brutus. Brutus may be able to outwit Batista on the microphone but Batista's power will get him through this match. Batista is all power and hits harder then most guys. I kind of see this match as being like an accident that you don't want to watch but can't look away from. Batista should be able to put this match away within 5 minutes.

Batista takes this match and he takes it easily. I never saw what the appeal was for Brutus Beefcake and I still don't to this day. Like several other well known and beloved mid-card fixtures in the WWF during the 80s, he was a flunky of Hulk Hogan and I'm sure that helped him retain employment for a long while.

Batista would utterly and completely dominate The Barber here. Beefcake would be lucky to make it past the 3 minute mark before Batista practically drove him through the ring.

Brutus Beefcake really just strikes me as the sort of wrestlers that was fed to Batista back when they were trying to make him look strong. Let's not forget the fact that Batista is one of the most dominant wrestlers in the past 10 years of WWE, and having defeated some of the biggest names the business have offered in the past 10 years as well.

Batista would finish this match rather easily and rather quickly. No real challenge for The Animal in this round.

Unless The Barber uses his pruning shears to chop of Batista's gentleman parts (and nobody would be more sympathetic towards that notion than I), Batista runs over Beefcake here. I don't think Beefcake ever had to contend with a big man as dominant as Batista, and any big man he did deal with he did so unsuccessfully.

    Batista moves on.

So it's 80's porn star (Beefcake) vs. Modern day porn star (Batista)

Batista is just terrible folks. He's a one trick pony who uses power exclusively to dominate his matches. I know he's beaten some solid wrestlers... but against a good wrestler on any given day, Batista gets overwhelmed and dominated.

That being said Beefcake sucks. Whether he was Booty Man, Brutai!, or Beefcake... he sucked. And Batista would beat him in about 8 minutes after a Batista bomb.

Brutus Beefcake wasn't bad, and while obviously aided by his pal Hulk Hogan, there's no denying that he was a popular midcarder both as face and as a heel. His turn was well received and he was unlucky not to be the IC champion.

However, Batista was above Beefcake's highest position in a wrestling company for all but the very start of his career in the WWE. Powerful, aggressive and capable of dominating as either a face or a heel, Batista has all the hallmarks of someone who does well in wrestling, and that is exactly what he did do, filling his quite short career with quite a lot of accolades. Batista wins here, quickly.

Batista by a mile. A very dominant and imposing professional wrestler, especially as a heel. I would expect him to detach Brutus's head from the rest of his body, use his clippers to give him a quick trim, and then pass it back to him. Batista is just too powerful for Beefcake to handle. This one is over quickly with a dominant and convincing victory by the Animal.

Brutus Beefcake was an over midcarder in the 80's/early 90's. He's Hulk Hogan's pal. That's about as far as Brutus got. Batista on the other hand was a multi time world champion, Royal Rumble winner, multiple tag team champion and main evented WrestleMania. Beefcake may be a fan favourite, but Batista was a monster. The guy ploughed through everyone and beat Triple H three PPV's straight. Batista broke John Cena's neck, and ended the title reign of another monster (Khali). My vote goes to Batista.

Double Heich's boy versus Triple Heich's animal? Not even at the top of his political powers could Hogan get the Barber a victory here - squash, with Hunter showing Hulk who really holds the sway! (After all, when did you see Beefcake go over the Immortal One repeatedly?)

What a match of no talents! Anyone seeing this match should hope that Beefcake trips while doing that idiotic strut and knocks himself out cold on the mat, enabling Batista to garner the enthusiastic fan response just by flexing his muscles. Then perhaps Batista could "tell a great story" (HAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!) in finishing off the loser Beefcake with a Batista bomb so that we can go on to better matchups.

Honestly, we should all be so lucky if by some miracle, the match ends in a draw, eliminating both by default and ensuring that we'll never have to watch either wrestler again.
