All of these matches take place inside of a WWE Ring with WWE Rules.

The Match will be open for a week.

Doom is Ron Simmons and Butch Reed 1989-1991

Cryme Time is 2006 to Current.

    OH DEAR GOD, DOOM!

Attention - smarky posters under the age of 17. Before voting Cryme Tyme because "they mad funny yo," make sure you learn about Doom. Ron Simmons and Butch Reed made up one of the most fearsome, most talented, most dominating teams in professional wrestling history, despite having a short lived run. Teddy Long proved with this team that he was a terrific manager and wrestling personality.

Doom were, without a doubt, two of the most impressive physical specimens in professional wrestling at the time. They were the only team other than Big Van Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow who could go in and physically manhandle the Steiner Brothers on a regular basis, and also give the 4 Horsemen trouble.

Cryme Tyme, as of now, isn't in Doom's league and won't be for a while. Don't vote the smarky way - give Doom the respect they deserve.

Irish pretty much nailed it on the head. Doom would fucking maul Cryme Tyme, both kayfabe and not.

But yeah, Doom rules. I loved their matches against the Steiners (the match where the Steiners unmasked them is a fucking classic), and I also remember being fond of a match they had against Sting and Luger at a Clash of the Champions show. Also, I think they deserve credit for being the first African-American team to hold the NWA Tag Titles, but I could be wrong about that. I know Rocky Johnson and Tony Atlas were the first black team to hold the WWF Titles, but I don't think the NWA or WCW reached that accomplishment until Doom won the belts.

DOOM would whoop Cryme Tymes ass very badly. Simmons and Reed over Shad and jtg by a mile. Anyone who votes for Cryme Tyme is just not using their brain. My vote is for Doom.

Respecting my old school love and memories, let me say this: if DOOM loses this, I'll beg to be banned. Please, go watch a doom match. You think Shad is a beast? Go watch Simmons and Reed just annihilate everyone they come in contact with. Think of all the great tag teams in WCW. Outsiders, Harlem Heat, the Steiners, Austin and Pillman. Know who was champions longest ever? Doom.

I've also got to give this one to Doom without much thought. Ron Simmons and Butch Reed were terrifying. I legitimatly thought they might kill someone at any given minute. They would destroy Cryme Tyme. Squash.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Shad in the ring with Doom. With the right singles push, he could be just as fearsome and credible as Doom was.

But back to the question at hand. Doom would win hands down. They have far more experience, far more in-ring ability, and frankly, the way I see it, Cryme Tyme would never be able to the Steiner Brothers, so how can they beat a team that dominated the Steiners?

    DOOM!!! FTW!!!!

Doom! Man, they were so bad ass. Cryme Tyme are entertaining enough, but they were never (and will never be) on the same level as DOOM. If Cryme Tyme wins this...DAMN.

Easily Doom, they are way more established than Cryme Tyme. Shad and JTG is still more known for their skits than matches, and stealing something from Doom will not help their chances, they have a long way to go yet.

Can somebody please tell me what Doom did? If Ron Simmons hadn't won a world title would people even know who Doom were?

Main two things are they physically dominated the Steiners who were probably the best WCW tag team. Physically they looked impressive, and they had that longest tag title reign in the company.

All because they were black. The same reason Simmons got the world title. Yet the guy is known more for saying one word than he is his tag achievements.

Yeah today he's a comedy act, but so is CT. Also Reed was heavily considered to be a Horseman.

And IC champ. But neither happened. So he's legendary status is zero.

Cryme Tyme could go somewhere. Doom never did.

I think that the Doom argument might be negated by the Hayes incident because I don't know if they'd get the push they're getting without that.

Do you mean Cryme Tyme? If so maybe. But they've always been incredibly popular.

They were. But they were also just bad. Also at that time everybody got a pop in wrestling. It's only recently when fans, mostly WWE, don't react to lower card talent.

Cryme Tyme don't have the Steiners to bump around for them.
