This one should go to Mickie hands down. She's one of the best, if not the best in this tournament, has beaten quite a few people that are in this tournament and she's the only person to be Diva's Champion, Women's Champion and Knockouts Champion.

Taryn is good and has come a long way from her days in WWE, but this is an easy first round victory for Mickie who has the potential to win this whole tournament.

Isn't Terrell the current Knockouts champion? I've seen some her matches, and she's pretty good. Better than I was expecting. Then again TNA does seem to have a little better track record of not putting their title on just anyone.

That being said Mickie James is one of the greatest of all time. Easily ranking up there with the Trish/Lita/Sables of the world. But she's probably a better worker than Lita or Sable.

This should be an easy win for her.

Taryn Terrell has become a solid worker, and as another poster has mentioned- TNA tend not to just stick the Knockouts title on anyone. She's definitely one of their top KO's and will probably continue to improve.

But unfortunately she's going to go out in the first round here, as Mickie James is just too good for her. Mickie deserves to go far in this tournament- she is one of the best of all time. a 5x WWE Womens Champion, a 2x WWE Divas Champion and a 3 TNA Knockouts Champion, as well as being the only woman in history to hold all 3 belts.

Shes capable of playing a loveable face, a crazy heel and is almost universally respected as one of the best ever. I wouldn't be against Mickie winning the whole thing.

I sure as hell would love to see this match. Taryn is such a good underdog so her going up against the "veteran" in Mickie James would make for a great storyline and for some awesome matches imo. Taryn is the current Knockouts Champion and is only really starting her journey to the top. Give this a few years and I think this'll be closer than now because I think Taryn could do some good things in TNA.

But yeah, Mickie James is winning this thing. Hell, she might win the whole thing. Gonna be tough to oust Mickie in this tournament.

Taryn Terrell strikes me as a Trish Stratus, she is really really growing as a performer and this match years down the line could be a toughie if she continues in her current vein... but it's not several years down the line and she is taking on someone I believe was a better allrounder than any of her contemporaries in the WWe so, sadly, my vote is a nobrainer.

All together now - "HARDCORE COUNTRY!"

Taryn is decent in the ring. I can't say that I've been disappointed with her work in TNA, especially her feuds with Gail Kim. However, Mickie résumé is considerably longer, and has wrestled the world over winning multiple championships as well. This should be a landslide.

Taryn is hurt here by the fact that she is just now coming into her own as a performer.

Two other things hurt Taryn as well- First all of her memorable matches have come with Gail Kim as her opponent, a woman who has shown the ability to pull the best match out of every worker who has been privileged to share a big stage with her. And second it could be said that Taryn's value as a performer is that of a female Dolph Ziggler, basically(calling on her experience as a stunt woman) guaranteeing entertainment value in her matches by excessively throwing her body around like a crash test dummy.

Mickie is one of the most talented, popular, respected, and decorated women's wrestlers of the last couple decades and cruises against a game and fearless upstart still working to build her respect in the industry.

I really have not cared for Mickie since leaving for TNA again, but I sure as hell loved her as Alexis Laree & was fucking psyched when she landed in WWE. This girl can go. I will save some of the bigger write ups regarding why she deserves to continue on for a later round, because this round isnt even close.

In a shocking upset, this Taryn Terrell and Mickie James match has beaten (pun intended) the Sable and Ivory match and the Victoria and Torrie Wilson match in GSB's sub-tournament of matches I'd much rather be porn.

Congratulations Taryn Terrell and Mickie James!!!

Mickie James wins this. Good performer, long history of championships. Strong worker, blah, blah, blah.
